"Oook, whatever you say, you're the history buff."

Upon knocking on the door, out came a woman who mentioned a Mr. Holmes, which caught Lizandra's interest immediately.

(Mind)
"No way!"

"Wait, HIM! Not now, I lookamess, isthereanythinginmyteeth, howsmyhair!?"

Liz began to fan girl immensely. She loved all heroes, especially ones of note that she read about.

Hotwire walked up the stairs of the little baker street apartment building, until he reached the apartment that had the words "S. Holmes" on it.

He opened the door as Ms. Hudson yelled in.

"Sherlock! A couple of the baker street irregulars are here to see you."

Then he stood... from his seat... Sherlock Holmes... the consulting detective. Deerstalker and all.

"What in devil are you talking about? I don't have them working on any- oh. I see. Leave them here. In your way Ms. Hudson."

"Bye Mr. Holmes." Ms. Hudson said as she left.

"Alright. Now what do you need?"

"OH. EMM. GEEE!!"

"An autographed tattoo on my back."

Liz knew she was supposed to be undercover, but her fandom was taking over. Maybe she should let Hotwire do the talking.

"Liz. Try to remain professional."

"Please explain where you two came from now. I once dealt with a man who dressed in similar style garb to you"

"We're from the future Mr. Holmes. From the same period as Batman. investigating the Jack the ripper murders."

LIzandra wiped the drool from her mouth and straightened up.

"Ehem, yes, as you can guess were here because this case was never solved in our period. So maybe we can compare notes."

Liz still couldn't really believe she was talking to the best detective to ever live. Her cheeks were still blushing a bit.

"Well... I suppose I can work with you."

With this, a mustached man burst in.

"Mr. Holmes! there's been another-

"Ripper killing, I know these children were telling me about it."

"B-but how? I was only a block away when it happened. How did these kids get here before me?"

"Calm yourself Watson." hotwire said taking a seat.

"How the bloody hell..."

"Were uh, well informed, not only on the string of murders, but on you and of course Mr. Holmes here."

Liz said hoping up on a chair and propping herself on the arm leg in perfect balance in a knelt spider pose.

"So should I tell him what we've found or do you want to explain the evidence so far, Hotwire? By the way, where are my manners *awkward laugh* we go by code-names like Batman in our period. He's Hotwire and I'm Spider-Girl."

"Oh dear... are they another bunch of them?"

"Yes watson, I knew from the moment I saw their clothes."

"Speaking of which Mr. Holmes, may we borrow some of you costume pieces... it would be a little odd going around london dressed like this."

"I suppose you're right. help yourself."

"Thanks. Liz, explain what we've found so far." hotwire said as he walked over to a chest in the other room and began rummaging.

"Pick me out something that doesn't make me look fifty-eight and, I might have to punch someone later so it needs to be sorta mobile, but not like a harlet."

Liz said with a bit of an English accent, but then realized it might be offensive to the actual Englishmen in the room and switched the subject to business rather quickly.

"Uh, right. So far we've determined the attack seemed planned to a degree. Although, there was a struggle we can assume he had been watching the young woman and then over took her at a moment ,which was probably the most opportune. History shows this was his last reported killing, so if he commits more crimes after this, he wanted to hide them. Suggesting he could've done this one quietly, soooo, why let everyone know about it."

Hotwire picked out some clothes for them, and within a few minutes, he looked like a teenage boy of the day... suspenders and everything.

"Thanks Mr. Holmes"

"You are quite welcome. Is there anything material for evidence?"

Liz began changing while Hotwire answered Holmes question, in the bathroom.

"Guess this'll have to do."

"Some footprints... oh... and this." Hotwire said handing holmes the bottle.

"Oh.. Oh my..."

"Holmes... doesn't that bottle brand belong to...

"Yes." Holmes said with a dark look in his eyes

"Moriarty." he said.

"Moriarty."

"Yes... I've always feared Moriarty was behind the murders of Jack the Ripper. but now it's almost assured."

"But why, what would killing young women do to benefit him?"

Liz said as she exited the bathroom. She had ripped a few pieces here and there and then quickly sowed some ends back together to make the dress fit her size. Liz was a moderately good tailor...She made her own clothes after all, after every battle.

"Whoa." Hotwire said as she walked out, then looked back to holmes.

"Then you obviously don't know Moriarty. He commits crimes for the enjoyment of it all. He is a man who enjoys trying to find new conundrums to throw at me. I'm afraid the ripper is just another one of them."

He handed a slip of paper to hotwire.

"This is a good place to start looking for Moriarty. I'll take another locale I've narrowed down."

Spider-Girl approached walking perfectly in her heels and took down her hood, showing her hair in a ponytail, which was now neatly combed.

"Anything else we should watch out for with this Moriarty guy?"
