Midnight Melody (Open)

Luna yelled out in fear, looking surprised when Bloodveld grabbed her as she closed her eyes tightly in fear, she then peeked her eyes open a little and turned to Bloodveld "t-thank you" she said softly.

Under the water things weren't going well on Brian's end. As he fought the sharks he was constantly being knocked onto the ground under the water. The Jagged rocks cut at Brian's skin and caused blood to get in the water that made the sharks even more violent. Concentrating Brian tried to use his power but the constant pressure of the fight kept breaking his concentration. On and on, punch, kick and bite Brian was on the giving and recieving end of each and everyone of the blows.
But the longer he fought the more he began to tire while the sharks remained relentless. As the continued to rip and tear at Brian's body Brian began to wonder whether or not he would survive... but then it happened. Time slowed, adrenaline pumped into Brian's brain and his skin began to harden, wounds began to close and Brian's gills slowly began to fade into nothingness.
This time Brian was ready and was able to kill one of the shark by once again throwing it out of the water. The other shark however Brian fought for the next 3 minutes before comming out of the water covered in blood and his skin was pitch black... But the blood was not his own, behind him he was dragging the 8 foot shark.

Bloodveld quickly sat up, now rushing with adrenaline, and looked at the shark. "Now where the hell did THAT come from..." He turned around when he heard the strange girl thank him. "Oh, uh, your welcome." he thought, but unable to say anything, he remained silent. He started talking (or rather thinking) to himself.

"Well she's kinda pretty..."

"You think that about EVERY new girl you meet..."

"Well it's TRUE isn't it?"

"Oh, be quiet you..."

He looked back to the ocean, "No seriously...where did that come from?" He got up and started to walk toward where he thought it came from. Then when the other shark flew from the water, he looked out and realized there was something fighting in there. He watched as a man, covered in blood dragged a third shark from the water.

Luna gasped as she ran to the water's edge, stepping back when Brian emerged from the water dragging the shark behind him "a-are you alright?!" she asked, looking panicked and scared as she quickly checked him over for injuries with her eyes, wanting to help him however she could.

"No.... Im alright... Besides it isn't over yet." Brian said, looking at the waters the other man jumped into Brian sighed. Sure there were 3 sharks that Brian had taken care of but there was something else... Something that even the sharks were afraid of. It was big and had long and flexible body. It's grip was strong enough to crush an submarine with ease. It was the mythologically powerful and greatly dangerous giant squid.

As Brian said that multiple tenticles flew out of the waters but something about the tenticles were different. Eyes widening Brian yelled. "GET OUT OF THE WATER IT'S A GIANT JELLYFISH"

"You don't have to tell ME twice!" He wasn't very far in the water (it wasn't even up to his knees) but already he had run out of it and was backing up on the shore. "What IS that thing..." He thought

Luna gasped when she heard what Brian said "both of you cover your ears!" she said before letting out a high-pitched scream that would break any nearby glass, she then grabbed the two's arms and tried to run away with them, hoping that her sonic scream would have disorientated the beast long enough for them to make their escape.

Brian covered his ears when the girl screamed. It was so loud that Brian could hear it through his hands. When the girl pulled him away Brian went with because even if he wanted to he had no power left to resist her. The jelly fish was stunned for a moment. Even though it was stunned for what felt like 2 or 3 minutes it was able to move it's tenticles through the sand and pulled out it's tenticle and fired it toward Bloodveld. If it hit It would attempt to pull him toward the ocean while slowly poisoning him with its touch or it would move and grab the girl.

Bloodveld looked at Luna and, after hearing what she said, put his hands over his ears. "Why, what do I need to cover..." *SSHHRREEEEEEEEEEEEKK* "Oh...that's why." Even with his ears covered that still hurt, and it left his ears ringing. As she grabbed his arm and pulled him away Bloodveld followed her lead but was suddenly grabbed by one of the creatures tentacles. It yanked him out of luna's grasp and started pulling him to shore.

"Let...GO OF ME!!!" he raged in his mind as he plunged his spear-like tongue deep into the creature, using the barbs to inflict maximum damage.

Luna gasped and was plucked up by another of the tentacles "let go of me you beast!" she yelled as she tried to get free, charging up a large ball of water and firing a sharp jet at the tentacle holding her.

THe Jellyfish's grip loosened as it was attacked by both the girl and the apparently long tounge boy. The Jellyfish instead of letting go used its other tenticles to grab the girl's and the boy's body to restrain them again but lucky he had to let go of them both so it could grab them again. Brian on the otherhand had jumped behind one of the rocks and began to close his eyes as his breath was panting heavier and heavier. Brian could already feel the effect of the jellyfish poison affecting him. His body was heavier and heavier he could still feel the wound the jellyfish gave him on his left arm. Brian knew that it would inevitably lead to Brian being unable to move. Taking one last breath Brian sighed, all he needed right now was time.

Bloodveld pulled his tongue from the tentacle, the barbs doing almost as much damage on the way out than on the way in; he then immediately slashed at the same spot with his claw, severing the tentacle. He was only free for a split second when 2 more tentacles wrapped around his torso and his left arm. He wreseled with them, and a rage let out a loud shriek that sounded like something you might expect to hear from a velociraptor. He speared his tongue into the one grabbing his arm, then brought it to his mouth and bit it clean in half.

Luna struggled against the tentacles but became weaker and weaker, succumbing to the poison she began feeling numb and looked terrified.

The jellyfish continued to keep a hold on the girl and began to preoccupy itself with the troublesome velociraptor. Sending it's tenticles at the velociraptor the jellyfish aimed its tenticles at the mouth hoping to close it. Brian on the other hand was still breathing his shoulder had stopped hurting at that point and he felt his body slowly become lighter. Brian sighed once more he would need just a few more minutes before he could do anything. Sighing once more Brian continued his deep breathing whild hiding from the jellyfish behind the rock.

Bloodveld let out another screech as he fought with the tentacles that continually attacked him. So far, through his rage and adrenaline, he had been able to fight through the effects of the poison; but at this point it's effects were getting greater to the point that fighting became a real struggle. The increased attacks made his situation even more worse.

As the creature continued attacking, one of it's tentacles grabbed his right arm and another wrapped around his neck and over his mouth. He fought with the one around his neck/mouth, but in his condition he was having quite a bit of difficulty.
