There seems to be a pattern (Hotwire)

Hearing these words made Ella want to cry, she realized that they couldn't help her, she understood the consequences, but she wanted to do something with her life. She wanted to help people, and this drug ring was destroying Jump from the inside out, something other people don't see unless you look for it. She felt so compelled to help, but knowing that someone thought she was nice, after all the crap she went through, made her feel truly special.
"But I-.." Ella began, but then realized how dumb it was to argue. "Thank you Hotwire... so much.." She told him, taking the bracelet and securing it on her wrist. "Is there any way I can repay you?"

When Hotwire got up to leave, Ella was just going to let him walk out, not knowing how to handle this situation. However, he just gave her a life saving tool, something amazing that nothing could ever top. That being said, Ella stood up and grabbed his arm before he left blushing like a mad man.
"I can't you play hero all the time. You're a teenager too, why don't we hang out?" She suggested, averting her eyes from him.

When he agreed, Ella grinned ear to ear. She'd go back to the table and shove her laptop into her backpack, throwing it over her shoulder. She'd then throw a 10 dollar bill on the table, smile at Hotwire, and head at the door. "Alright! What first!?" She asked, looking around. Ella didn't know what he liked to do, maybe something with technology?
"Ooh!! I have an idea, let's go!" She told him, grabbing his hand and running towards the arcade a few blocks down.

A few minutes of jogging and dodging people, they'd arrive to an old school arcade, Ella grinning. "You choose!"

When Hotwire suggested the fighting game, Ella happily walked up next to him, getting ready for the challenge. She'd over exaggerate cracking her neck and knuckles for humorous affect. " I just want you to know that I have three of these machines in my basement and I play with my brothers all the time.... and I lose every time.. you better watch out!" She explained, grabbing the red and black stick and readying herself. She'd of course pick the silliest looking character.

Right when the game started, Hotwire landed several hits on her, not even giving her a chance. However, he gave her a slot and for some reason and stopped. Ella took this chance and button smashed the crap out of his character, taking down more then half of the character,
She begun to laugh, looking over at Hotwire and bumping him with her hip. "Come onnnnn! I expected more from the technical marvel!" She teased, continuing to button smash. Sure she didn't really know what she was doing, but she took a lot out of him.

He soon got back into the rhythm and Ella was struggling to keep up. She didn't want to lose, who ever wanted to lose? So she decided to play a dirty trick which may or may not work.
While Hotwire was focused on the screen, Ella would reach out and pinch his side, hoping to either tickle him or make his arm retract from the stick so she could land a final blow.

Finally, Ella was able to take a final blow and kill his character, followed by her laughing. She'd whoop and throw her fist in the air, grinning at Hotwire who didn't see very amused. "Point one for Ella!" She said happily, looking up at Hotwire and leaning against the machine. "I'm sorry! You were just too good so I had to sabotage you." She admitted with a cheeky grin.
"I'd say we could do a co-op game, but I'd still sabotage you because I'm just really competitive."
