The Tournament Of Heroes! (Titans East)

As Zoltan brought down his blade, it would be repelled by a white light construct in the shape of a half-dome. NarGok seemed to hum in displeasement after touching the construct; white magic, UCK! Right afterward Electrified would brush past Zoltan and grab onto Superboy saving him from further bombardment from the God Of The Arena.

"Resourceful you all may be, the outcome of this battle will still be no different."

Zoltan would then turn his attention to Will as he said this and ran towards the Titan before lunging into the air and swinging a dark energy blast towards the spell caster this time. The dark-wave swooshing in his direction as Zoltan made his descent.

Meanwhile, JaK was still in a tight spot. He was taking some laser fire and soon one of these soldiers would get a clean hit and put a hole in Sage that in his weakened conditioned could prove fatal...Healing factor or not. However, help would come when Wondergirl landed infront of the boy and began blocking laser fire with her amazonian bracelets; which bounced the lasers back at the soldiers causing them to stop shooting for their own preservation.

"You officially owe me one *wink*"

Right after they halted their attack she would charge forward and begin to bash their armor inn and toss the guards around. JaK smiling as he took a moment to reprieve and then look back at Cassie. To think, at one point he had wanted to rip her head off and now she was saving his.

"So I do."

Sage would then see that Zoltan was taking the fight to his teammates down at the arena, on the battlefield Dan & Will had been fighting in. There was no way JaK was gonna be able to leap all the way down there from the stands and stay alive or keep his legs. Luckily, Lance was still flying around dealing with the remaining flight crew, giving him an idea.

"EY Rocky, give me a boost would ya!?!"

As JaK Sage called to Lance he would motion for him to do what they had did in the fight with posessed Ben, when Stone had launched Sage at the 'then' evil alien Badaboom.

Lance would notice Jak calling for him. Lance evades some of the shots being fired at him and slashes through the guards. Lance makes his way to Jak. He lands next to him and sees what Jak is motioning to do. Lance cracked a smile as he remembers this, and he remembers what the outcome of it was the first time.

"Good to see you Jak."

Lance said to him as he was preparing their plan. He watched as will was engaged in battle. This was a good distraction for Jak and Lance to strike Zoltan.

Meanwhile, while all these events unfolded inside the arena; in the inner workings of the coliseum, Miss Martian posed as a guard could be seen walking her prisoner, Aquagirl, to the holding cells. Many other flight crew members could be seen running past them to the battlefields with their rifles to stop the gladiators from rioting.

In addition, there were also spectators who were getting into escape pod after escape pod and flying back down to Earth. Alrams were sounding all about as the commotion went on, however not all of the audience members escaped. Some of the villains stayed to join in on the action; about 30 of them overall now teamed the arena along with now 40 guards. All armed and ready to overhwlem the already pooped out 10 teen heroes, who also had Zoltan hismelf to deal with.

This is where Megan and Aquagirl came in; as they approached one of the holding cells they would be greeted by two guards, one had the master key to the other prison chambers.

"Ehem, I found this one running about and got the jump on her from behind."

"Good job, at least someone's finally taking some initiative and taking down these juvenials. I don't know why we don't just vent them all into space now."

"You should have, maybe then you could've avoided this."

As Aquagirl spoke and Martian transformed back to her normal self. The Atlantean princess would quickly grab both their heads, revealing that her cuffs were easily broken like a human ripping paper, and slams their skulls together! Denting in their helmets and knocking both of the crew members out cold. Miss Martian would then levitate up the key with her mind and insert it into the locking mechanism on the door to the cells while dialing in the password, which she read from his mind before the two were taken out. The master code would then unlock every cell freeing the other entrapped heroes.

Back in the arena, the villains and about 50 guards would all start to swarm the stands ready to apprehend the Titans in a group effort; when all of sudden the side door where the gladiators entered would be blown down and the calvary would enter though it. Being lead by Aquagirl and Miss Martian, about 24 or so other teens would rush in; all pissed and ready for some revenge. Of the teenage crime fighters were a few notable heroes like Aqualad, Stargirl, Blue Beetle, Kid Devil, Mas Y Menos, Ravager, Impulse, Lil Lobo and many more. Each hero charging at the opposition like a hive and duking it out with the villains and soldiers. All pandemonium was brekaing loose within the Coliseum stands as heroes and Crew/criminals fought 3 to 1, and even with those odds the heroes were taking the fight to them.

As Kat whipped the guard across his back, the other three would approach with their weapons ready. However, before they even really realzied what was happening; a red and black blur would zoom unfront of the the Titaness and hit one of them so hard his helmet seemed to break like glass from the blow, revealing the alien's face inside. The other two would then receive more of the same from Superboy, who was returning the favor from Electrified saving him earlier now that he had recovered.

After speaking, Conner would continue to beat the other soldiers into the dirt.

Meanwhile, JaK would stand ready as Stone readied to do their own version of the 'fast ball special'.

"It's nice to see you too bud, but well save the reunion for later. Right now Will needs help and so does your girl over there. Go protect Grace and Arrowette while we take care of Zoltan."

As Sage finished his sentence he would nod assuringly to Lance, who would then flip the mineral paltform JaK was standing on in the stands like a catapult. Hurtling him down below towards Zoltan, and as he approached Sage would do a front flip in mid air; then as he opened up sticks his foot straight out in a dropkick like motion. Appearing to have heard Zoltan exclaim to Psychosis that his intereference would make no difference earlier, the boy could not help but to make a referencing quip as he hit the God direcly in the chin with his foot upon reaching the battlefield.

"Luckily, I'm Different!!"

JaK's still somewhat armored foot would drive itself right across Zoltan's face as the villain turned around, causing him to lose focus and for Will to gain the advantage in their power struggle. JaK hismelf having hit something was able to land on his feet safely, after losing a great deal of momentum upon impact with Zoltan. As he landed on the crystal flooring, the teen hero kneeled down and placed his hands upon it; absoring the material onto his body, which filled the places that Imhoteb's armor was now missing from. In a way making him now seem to be a mismatch or crystalline armor and magical armor. After which time, he would stand erect while balling up his fist. He was no where near 100% at the moment, but this douche was gonna pay for all he had done one way or another.

Psychosis would drop to his knees, completely drained of energy now. Leaving JaK to go toe to toe with Zoltan. Which, was fine by him by the way. The God Of The Arena would crack his neck after taking the hard kick from Sage and then slowly walked towards the former Titan.

"Ah JaK Sage, what a disappointment you were. You had a chance to be champion and let it slip through your grasp...I won't be showing you any mercy after your defeat this time, however."

"That goes both ways you pasty white jackass!"

As Zoltan finished his remark and charged Sage with his sword above his head, Sage would repsond quickly and then do a one handed cartwheel out of the way of his weapon.The blade struck the spot in which Sage was standing with enough force to cut a major groove into the crystalline floor! Although, before Zoltan could raise it again JaK would attack by running at his foe and driving a high knee into the side of his face. This stumbled Zoltan and caused him to back away from his weapon. Afterwords Sage would continue the onslaught by hitting him with combination punches to his abs and sides. However, Zoltan merely recovered from the knee and backfisted JaK out of the way, brushing off his shots and damaging JaK's crystal armor. The God then went for a straight right, which JaK avoided by leaping on top of his burly arm and running up it before side kicking Zoltan in the back of the head this time. Staggering him a bit and then as Sage dropped back to the ground, he would hit a spinning wheel kick to to the gut, which doubled Zoltan over. Seeing he had the upper hand, Sage would yell out as he leaped up and went to drop an elbow onto Zoltan, but instead was caught by the throat instantly in mid air!

"I believe you youth call it a 'Fake Out'?"

Zoltan realising Sage was quick and nimble decided to play dead in a sorts. Pretending his shots were doing more damage then they actually were, so that he coupler catch JaK when he got too confident. As he held the boy in the air by his chin, he would squeeze JaK's jaw causing him to moan in agony as his armor began to crack and dent. Then in one motion choke-slammed Sage head first into the arena flooring with enough force to leave his body's imprint in a small crater as debris flew up into the air. Making good on his promise afterwards to show no mercy, Zoltan lifted up his boot and began to stomp on JaK's body again, and again, and again! Each one having a thunderous impact as the crater grew bigger and bigger and the smile on Zoltan's face grew wider and wider...

"Underneath my FEET, exactly where ALL, of you, BELONG!!"

Right after Lance launches Jak at Zoltan, Lance hops onto a rock platform again and flies down to Grace and Arrowette. Lance lands next to Arrowette, who was treating Grace. He looks as Grace had just woken up, yelling something out that Lance was confused by. He wasn't sure what she meant by "Firstborn".

"Are you guys alright?"

Lance asks as he has his back turned, staring down with a couple of more guards. In the back ground Lance could see JaK and Will fighting Zoltan. Lance also sees all the other heroes fighting against multiple guards. Lance waits for one of the two to respond as the guards continue staring Lance down and he looks back at them with his sword drawn in his hand.

Lance really wasn't sure what Grace meant when she said "We'll" instead of just herself, but time was not on his side. The two guards started charging at the three of them. Arrowette shot an arrow at each of the two guards. Both arrows explode on impact and smoke covers them. The guards, though, came out unharmed from the two explosions. Lance runs up to them and engages in combat with them.

"Bring it on!"

Lance said as he clashed his sword with one of the guards forearm armor. Arrowette shot the second guard that was sneaking up behind Lance in the back. Lance then noticed the second guard and used his powers to make a hole in the ground underneath the guard. He falls into it and then uses his powers to make a rock come up from the ground underneath the guard. It came and hit him right where the sun don't shine. The guard falls to his knees and Lance then punches him out.

The other heroes seemed to be listening to Electrified, showed by how at first it was just an epic brawl. The guards were being taken out, but some of the teens were falling as well. It wasn't until Kat spoke that the teamwork really started to come into play. Aquagirl would drag water around many of the guards while Aqualad electrocuted them using the water as a conductor. Blue Beetle blocked for Ravager using his armored body as a shield to defend against the trooper's laser blasts while Ravager tossed throwing stars from behind him. Wondergirl threw Impulse her indestructible lasso, as so the speedster could run around a few guards while tieing them up; then Kid Devil barbecued them with his fire breath.

Everything seemed to be coming together as the heroes worked together. However, for the Titans that fought against Zoltan the fight was going down hill FAST! Hearing Katarzyna's call, Superboy would immediately fly from the guard she was pounding on at the moment and drived both fists into Zoltan's chest, moving him away from JaK while Conner pushed him back. Although, almost immediately afterwards Zoltan would slam down into Superboy's back with one arm and then knee him in the gut as he fell to the ground. This caused the kryptonian to yell out before being grabbed by the back of his shirt's collar and lunged up into the air and way from Zoltan; who would then walk back towards Sage to finish the job he had started. Luckily, he was haulted when a bolt of lightning hit his face, then another right afterwards, which forced the God to cover up. Static had finally revived and was trying to keep the white long haired gladiator at bay, but he was still injured quite a bit. Showed by the fact that he was attacking while still sitting down, barely able to sit up as he shot forwardth his electric shocks.

Sage on the other hand was in a much worse a shape. After Superboy pushed Zoltan off, all that could be seen of JaK was his bloody and broken carcass. His bones had been broken or near broken in over several areas and blood trickled from his nose and mouth. Barely able to crawl he would look on and see Zoltan was still taking the fight to the other heroes...He had failed. JaK lost and if he didn't die right here and now from injuries, another scuffle with this guy would surely kill him. It wasn't until he saw Nargok laying in front of him that he had lost all hope. Upon glancing at the sword, he got an idea in his broken head. What if he absorbed it's properties? Even Sage was unsure of this however, he had never absorbed anything made of magic before. He didn't know the effect it would have on him...But, right now the risks HIGHLY outweighed the consequences. So JaK crawled or more so dragged himself lowly towards Zoltan's weapon and with a bit of hesitation placed his bare hand upon it.

At first nothing happened, but then the darkness of the sword would start to crawl all over JaK's skin; like that of a symbiote or a spreading rash. The metal was only enveloping his forearm up to his shoulder for now, but that wasn't the amazing thing. No, as it crawled up Sage's torso his eyes would go completely blank with no pupils. As if in his own little world, sort of. JaK was out of it, his mind taken from him, but the main question was where did his consciousness go and who took it?
