The Tournament Of Heroes! (Titans East)

Arrowette finally breaks out of the ice. She looks around, probably looking for Grace, but only sees Lance there. Lance looks at her with a slight smirk on his face right now. He musters up enough energy and points at her and then turns his hand. He gives her the Rock bring it on taunt. Arrowette grind her teeth together by this taunt as she pulls out three arrows in her hand and then gets ready to shoot them at Lance. She shoots them and two are normal arrows and the third is a trick arrow. Lance brings up a wall of rock in front of him and blocks the arrows. Lance did not know one was a trick arrow until it exploded the wall right in front of Lance and sent him flying back a bit. lance hit the ground on his back, but was able to rebound onto his feet and continued sliding back a couple of feet. Once he got his footing back, he started to realize he was going to have to take her as serious as he did wonder Girl.

Lance stepped down on the ground and a platform of rock came up from the ground. Lance quickly jumped onto hit and started flying on it around Arrowette. She would look at Lance as he circled her from the air. She pulled out an arrow and then shot it up at lance. lance easily evaded the arrow, but then looked back at the arrow and saw that it was turning around. His eyes widened as he flew faster and the arrow followed behind him. As he is trying to evade the arrow, he sees Grace go crashing to the ground. So many thought ran through his head right now. He went and flew directly in the direction she crashed in with the arrow still behind him. He tried to beat Wonder Girl from getting to her first. It was all just a split second apart probably. Lance came swooping down and picked Grace up of the ground as Wonder Girl then punched the ground, missing Grace. the arrow that was following Lance redirected to hitting Wonder Girl. Lance had Grace in his arms and looked at her with great concern.

"Grace! Grace! are you okay!?... Please be okay..."

Lance said as a mix of sadness for him not being their for her and anger for her getting hurt. Lance kept flying to buy enough time to see if Grace responds to him.

Lance was already ahead of Grace. While she was distracting Wonder Girl and Arrowette with the storm, Lance had formed a large rock club and a platform to fly on. He gets on quickly and starts flying towards the two. He first sets his target on Wonder Girl, who was about fifteen to twenty feet away from Arrowette. Before Arrowette's eyes Wonder Girl swiftly gets hit across the head with the rock club. The club broke on impact. Arrowette fired a couple of arrows, but they had just narrowly missed Lance. Lance couldn't take it anymore and had to stop flying through the storm. He hopped of and immediately went underground so that he could get out of the storm. Once lance was underground he wiped his eyes. Lance then continued tunneling until he could feel that he was under Arrowette, who was keeping a keen eye out for Lance and/or Grace. What she didn't know was that Lance was right under her. Lance's hand then popped out of the ground and grabs Arrowette's ankle, like a zombie coming up from the dead.

"Gotcha!"

You could hear Lance exclaim. Lance pulls her into the ground, which brought he all the way down to her waist. Arrowette tried to push herself out, so that she would not sink in but Lance was more powerful. He gave another tug on her ankle and she was brought down to her neck into the ground. Then Lance brought the rocks closer together so that she could not move to get her arrows again. Lance then pops out of the ground and takes the visor that she had on.

"Thanks for the visor, now I can..."

As Lance was talking to Arrowette, Wonder Girl had finally recuperated and found her way to Lance. She grabbed onto his scarf and threw him across the ground. Lance went rolling violently across the ground. Lance's body was going to be very bruised and extremely sore tomorrow. Lance was laying on the ground in pain. He didn't think any of his bones were broken, but his body surely ached.

As JaK arose after being semi-knocked out, his blurry vision would reform to see Aquagirl approaching him. As she got close to the former Titan, she would grab him by the neck and punch JaK in the gut HARD! Thus cracking his armor once again and then drops him to his knees before hitting him with a one two; right and left cross. This knocked Sage down and caused him to spit blood from his mouth, while laying on his back. Aquagirl would then place her hands together and lift them over JaK for the final blow, her face emotionless and without feeling. For what she was about to do, she had no control over really. However, before she could land the blow, JaK, who as flat on his back at the time would get a glimmer in his eye showing renewed vigor and brings his feet up before mule kicking the girl with both feet just as she was about to drop her heavy double axehandle. The force of kick was enough to send her flying all the way across the icy field and skidding back into the water, taking all of JaK's strength to do so. This gave him much needed time to re-cooperate and he needed it to, Sage had taken extremely heavy damage at the hands of the Atlantean. Although, none of it really registered to him because the spell would force him to keep fighting on regardless.

As he stood up, Sage wiped the rest of the blood from his mouth and started to slowly walk over to Electrified so he could give her aid with Miss Martian. But, before he could take more than two steps, suddenly a funnel of water would rise from the river that Aquagirl had just flown into and like a snake strikes Sage and pushes him back into the side of one of the ice obstacles. As he slammed into the giant ice debris, the geyser would continue to bombard him like a fire hose. The pressure pinning him to it and breaking off the armor around his face, as well as cracking it all even more until his magical protection looked like glass about to shatter. Next to the flowing waterfall that seemed to float across the air at it's intended target was Aquagirl yet again, using her Hydrokinesis to send it rocketing into her opponent.

Sage had to dig deep, his unbridled willpower refusing to let him down as he stuck his hands straight out and started to struggle against the rushing ice water. Taking a step while covering up and standing against the never ending attack; then another and another! Slowly, but surely powering through, while getting nearer to Aquagirl; who was sweating as she tried to apply more pressure and keep focus, but JaK just wouldn't quit. He was determined to fight it until he finally reached Aquagirl and while blocking the continuous faucet of H2O with one hand, he would cock back the other; absolutely screaming with all the remaining energy he had as he flung his fist forward and decked Aquagirl as hard as he could muster. The blow in fact was so strong it caused the Atlantean to topple over. This stopped the hydrant of pouring liquid and made the water crash onto the landmass instead of floating in the air as it was before. The crowd went obnoxious with excitement as they saw this, Grace & Lance's fight, and the back an forwardth action between Conner and Dan. However, JaK was spent, quickly falling to his knees after he was freed from the telekineticly controlled stream and then about half a minute later falling face first on top of his currently down opponent. Each of them were out of gas for the moment.

As Virigl came to his right mind, he would spark with fury in his eyes as he looked towards the God Of The Arena himself sitting high on his throne.

"Oh, I remember everything. His spell binds you, but lets you feel and see everything you're doing. The things I've done, the things I was forced to do, all those heroes dead; for the entertainment of slime of the universe. It make me sick to my stomach, but not anymore. I'm gonna take down his royal highness and make him pay for all of this!"

Zoltan unaware that Static's mind was free assumed he was looking for permission to finish his opponenet. Noticing that his eyes were filled with anger and his fist were absolutely surging with electricity. Zoltan would nod to continue the fight, hoping that the first Titan would get slain soon.

Static catching onto that he and the rest of his team were not under control as well decided to play along, pushing Will back with his hands and sending a shock wave his way, but purposely missing by a mile. The idea was to keep up the appearance that they were fighting as they made a plan.

"I remember I was with Gear and was just getting back from a recon mission that the Justice League had asked us to do when a beam of light was suddenly shined down on both of us. I shoved him out of the way and the next thing I know I'm in this place about to get sucked into a time portal by Herald. Since then I've probably been in a dozen or so more battles, most of them weren't pretty and didn't have nice endings. Boy, I cannot wait to put a shock to this guys system, but as for Superboy. I think I can do that, but well have to make it look legit at first. Any ideas?"

As Will and Static spoke and fake fought, they would make plans about how to immobilize the kryptonian. Virgil continuously peering over his shoulder to make sure Zoltan was buying all this.

"C'mon Lance, get up! Grace can't take on Wonder Girl alone... get up!"

Lance musters up the strength to pick himself off the ground. When he finally does reach his feet, he sees as both Grace and Wonder Girl fell to the ground. Lance has to save Grace and the crowd is expecting Wonder Girl to be finished off. What was Lance going to do? Lance had already started to run towards the two falling near side by side. Lance had a plan, but it was tough to do. He started transforming the area the Wonder Girl was falling to into sand. He was hoping that the sand would cushion the fall so that the ice around her does not break and kill her. Lance was almost done making the sand. Lance was almost there, almost there to catch Grace. Lance uses his powers and a stalagmite forms under Lance's feet and propels him towards Grace at the right moment before hitting the ground. He catches her and then turns over landing on his back with Grace safe on top of him. He sits up to look at Wonder Girl and thankfully the sand was able to cushion the fall enough so that she did not break into pieces.

"I don't know how I come up with this stuff, but thank God I did. I think this battle is finally over for us. Grace is exhausted, I don't know if she'll be able to fight in the next round.

Lance looks at Grace as he has her laying on his lap. Grace was exhausted and injured. The crowd had mixed feelings about how this match ended. They were expecting both Grace and Wonder Girl to end in peril. Now Lance looked on at the other two intense battles that were still going.
