Breaking In! - Russian Attack! (Pikazard)

A plume of smoke was rising from the fifth story of the NuVision Labs sky scraper. A bomb had gone off just minutes earlier. Aeon was already checking security footage mentally form her office while her brother was on the move with a team of guild agents to the fifth floor. "What am I looking at here, Sis?" Kole said as he approached the door in knelt position with his side arm drawn.

"Be careful Kole, these are Russians. We planned for them, but they also brought meta-humans..."

Kole signaled for the men to be prepared for scenario B. "How many we looking at here?" He said as he loaded a clip into his weapon.

"A small unit, but they also have someone I haven't seen in a while with them...Kole its---" The feed went static.

"They must have cut communications." Kole said, as he kicked open the door and readied his pistol. "Move in anyway. We can't let them reach the upper levels!" As soon as the door opened Kole stepped through allowing the bullets fired to hit his vibranium bodyparts and rushed forward shoulder tackling the lead Russian soldier to the floor and then from his position on the ground he opened fire with his particle gun on the unit while the guild agents did the same from the door way.

However, most of their bullets were blocked by the individual Aeon was trying to mention to Kole. "No way..You're..GYAAAHHH!!!!"

Aeon lost visual connection with her brother. This was bad. She hit the button to call in Kicker. Right now he was the only registered hero that had actually agreed to help them in this situation and for this person they needed some real power.

Kane got the alert from Nuvision labs to come and help them, Kane quickly finished what he was doing, knocking out the bank robber and dragging him outside where the police will see him, before jumping into the air. He dashed off into the air towards Nuvision labs, but it would take him a few minutes to get there, so hopefully whatever security they had would hold off the threat until he arrived.

Aeon kept trying to re-establish the signal between her and Kole but nothing showed up. On her intercom she could hear gunshots and screaming. Finally the red head became fed up with the situation and slammed her fists on her desk and exited the room. She jogged towards the floor where the battle had raged on, she hid near the stairwell and closed her eyes. Three seconds passed and when she reopened them her shimmering orbs were able to see the layout of the entire facility via satellite. The guild agents had been overpowered, not surprising considering who the Russians had with them. Still the enemy units had been cut in half.

The Russian militia was advancing to the sample room. It was clear they were after the new synthetic compounds. But Kristina could care less about that right now. She was worried for her brother. He was in the mechatronics wing, and "he" was with him. Aeon rushed to the room and listened at the door before opening it. She could hear her brother screaming and the sound of metal churning.

It didn't matter what happened next, she had to save him. The door slid back and Aeon walked in, "JAK!" She gave the intruder a stern look and then gazed upon her sibling and covered her mouth.

All the metal components that made up her brother's cybernetic body had been removed and he laid on the operation table bleeding out. JaK had brought him to the mechatronics wing to use their state of the art operation tools to help him re-adjust and alter the Viranium. JaK turned to Aeon, his glace was grit iron, and his stance was rooted. He continued his work on the viranium as if there wasn't a body next to him. Aeon didn't know what to do, should she attack him, try to stop him? She moved closer - a bad decision by any means by her calculations but sometimes emotion overrode logic. She could only hope someone came to aid her soon and based on the satellite view she could see help had just arrived.

Kicker arrived at the building, he didn't know where Aeon or Ryze were, but hopefully the latter was protecting the former. He used his powers over the air to do a lap of the building, trying to see where the attackers were by looking in the windows. He happened upon the window of the corridor leading to the sample room and saw the Russian soldiers approaching the room, that was dangerous, if they got that information it would be bad.

So he did what any sensible person would do and kicked down the wall, at least, that's what any sensible person strong enough to kick down a wall would do, if that person wasn't afraid of being shot, so in other words someone both super powered and stupid. He timed his wall kick so that bricks and rubble showered on the soldiers, so that when Kane dashed in and kicked everything he could see, the Russians would be too disoriented to mow him down. By the time the soldiers regained their senses, half of them were down and Kane had retreated out the hole he made and disappeared into the night.

The soldiers were confused, but they had to continue on their mission, keeping a careful eye out for Kicker, they slowly crept towards the lab. They heard something and unloaded their bullets at it, but it was a bird that had flown in through the hole, luckily their surprise had made bad shots of them and it got the bird nothing but a fright. They were unnerved, the hero had taken out half their number in seconds and it was very unlikely he had left them alone. Suddenly, the ceiling collapsed above them and collapsed onto them, Kicker dropped down and looked at his handy work, the soldiers had all been taken out.

But where were Aeon and Ryze? Kane was just about to go searching when he heard a yell of pain that sounded like Ryze, Kane cursed and started dashing towards the source of the sound, breaking down walls and ceilings so he could get there faster, hopefully Aeon could hold out long enough for Kane to arrive.

Haruhi was at the entrance to the laboratory building known as Nuvisions, where the metahuman-expert and Grayline band manager spent her days. Just returning from a short, life changing trip, Haruhi had a ton of questions she wanted answers to and the only person she could think of that could possibly help her was Aeon. Just as she entered the main entrance she heard a blast and felt the ground and building rumble and shake as an explosion had gone off in the floors above. "Damn it..." She ran to the nearest elevator but it was out of function, probably due to the explosion, so with no hesitation she headed for the stairs. As she ran up she'd hear the sound of walls being busted down, as if the Russians were trying to bring the building down. "Aeon!" She'd yell as she ran, as she reached the third floor she saw a glimpse of someone kick down a wall, a person with super-strength. She cautiously followed the person up to the fourth floor, unsure if it was a Russian or an alley, but on close inspection she noticed it was someone familiar. She was about to call out to him when a scream was heard, not to far off. The kicker ran in the direction of the sound and Haruhi followed, "Kicker!" She yelled as she leaped up behind him as he kicked down another ceiling.

As she moved closer she saw what the teen was doing he was making modifications to a chest plate he had created. "JaK...JAK!" Aeon called, but it was as if she wasn't even there. It wasn't until she scanned the technology he was working on and realized what it was that he gave notice to her because she tried to touch it. A strong backhand surprisingly flung her across the floor.

"Please, don't touch it." Is all he said as he continued to use his powers to morph the viranium he had taken from her brother with the technology in the lab.

"Why JaK?" Tears welled in her eyes. "What use would you have for this?!"

Finally, the work was complete JaK's modified gauntlet was finished and as he turned to her his expression wasn't anything she had seen the boy don before. He was a completely different person, figuratively, and literally. JaK confirmed this in his next address to her. "I'm not this JaK, although he does have some fond and rather intimate memories of you."

Aeon wasn't sure what he meant at first. He's not himself? JaK apparently didn't intend to give her more time to think about it. "He does send his regards though, and isn't really happy about how you used his blood to get him registered. But as an officer of the law I guess I'll be passing judgement on you." He snapped his fingers and placed his palm on the ground. "Guilty it is!" If not saved spikes were going to propel up and skewer her.

Kane vaguely noticed that a slightly familiar voice yelled his codename, but it didn't matter, if it was someone he recognised, it wouldn't be a Russian and thus wasn't important, so he just kept on busting down walls and ceilings on his way to the laboratory. The spikes would be just about to pierce Aeon as Kane burst through the wall, grabbed her, and let her down at the other side of the room in the time it would have taken for the spikes to move an inch upwards.

Kane turned to see the Russian jerk who had tried to kill an innocent girl, only to see that while he was a jerk, he wasn't exactly a Russian. Before his eyes lay a meta human hero whom had once stopped a jewellery shop robbery with, he had never actually gotten his name, but had seen enough of him to be shocked at what was going on! You bas... what are you doing!?! he jumped into the air and then kicked off, shooting towards JaK before suddenly jumping over his head using his powers and trying to kick the back of his head, he did this at full speed with the hope of catching him off guard with his speed.

Kane didn't stop to acknowledge her when Haruhu called out to him, which was just fine with her, there were more important tasks at hand here, atleast he knew someone was here to help. She followed him through the busted curling a and walls till they reached the laboratory, and once they did she saw him dash, through the dust and debris of the knocked down wall. She saw his figure land on the other side of the room, holding a familiar scent, Aeon. However there was another scent in the room that confused and alerted Haruhi. She turned to see a face she thought she wouldn't see in a long while, if not at all. "...Jak.."  She then heard the kicker speak up and was wondering the same question the hero exclaimed. Kane then made his move and lunged towards him.
Haruhi saw the horrific sight of Ryze in mangled parts and Aeon on the other side of the room, away from the penetrating spikes that protruded from the ground. Haruhi was putting two and two together, but in her mind it didn't add up. 'Why would Jak do this?'
She then brought her attention back to the fight between Jak and Kane.

The girl was scooped before JaK could run her through. Meta-humans. Jericho hadn't expected them to get here so quickly - one was quick. So quick in fact JaK didn't have time to move from his advance and instead snapped his fingers while remaining in the same position. A tile wall propped up from the floor about four feet in width, but Kicker lunged over it.

JaK sucked his teeth and snapped his fingers again. When the actual attack came this time it was met by three other walls completing a box around the Russian agent that broke apart as the foot connected with it. However, even though the foot passed through the tile JaK's head was not on the other side to be met by it. The boy had ducked low and sent an up kick to hit kicker's chin right through the destroyed wall of the box.

The guy was good, Kane had to give him that, he had erected a defence that was actually a decoy so that the guy could just duck under the kick without Kane even knowing! This guy deserved a nickname for that, especially considering that Kane didn't know his real name, maybe Full Metal Badasschemist. But that wasn't important right now, what was important is that the guy kicked him in the chin, right through the wall! Full Metal Badasschemist is just as his name suggests!

The kick sent him head over heels, but for Kane that was advantageous for him, in mid-air he bent his legs ready to spring, then when his body was at the right angle so that he was aimed at Full Metal Badasschemist and used his powers over the air to use some empty space as a platform and bounce off it right at Full Metal Badasschemist. But this attack was a mere feint, for instead of aiming at FMB, he struck the floor underneath him with the intent of making him fall. If this worked, he would use his mastery over the air to follow him down and attempt a mid-air kick that would send him flying into the wall.

Haruhi ran over to Aeon and kneeled by her, "Are you alright?" She didn't smell any blood on her or see any bruises or visual wounds. "Aeon what's going on? Why is Jak doing this?" She asked. She continued to observe the two teenage boys movements, and The Kicker had yet to land a hit on Jak. Haruhi clenched her fists, wanting to join in the fray.

Aeon was picked up so fast she had no clue what was going on and no sooner was she put down was she then approached by another familiar face. "Haruhi?" Long since had been the days where she managed this girl's band, so now was not the time for a reunion or shock even, although she was glad to see the cat-girl.

Meanwhile Jericho prepared to evade as soon as he witnessed Kicker slow in mid air, but for some reason his body wouldn't move. "What the---" The floor was cracked by Kicker's attack and JaK fell through it down to the next floor. Jericho probed his mind to a mental image of chains in a dark room where JaK's conciousness was chained up. There JaK was struggling to overpower Jericho. "How can anyone be that willful?" The teen whispered to himself as Kicker came at him again... "Oh well, guess I'll have to switch tactics." JaK's eyes suddenly turned green and as Kicker drew near the astral projection of Jericho would jump from his body to Kicker's taking it over once eye-contact was made.

JaK was brought back immediately but Jericho had timed it so nicely that as soon as he was concious the teen was met by Kicker's kick and sent hurtling into the floor.

Aeon rubbed her head, "That's not JaK, his brain patterns is off according to scans." She looked at her brother. "Oh no...KOLE!" She ran to his side while speaking to Haruhi. "Quick, help me get him to the medical wing before he comes back!" Aeon seemed frantic for the first time ever.

Something weird happened when his eyes met JaK's a moment before the attack, the astral figure of some pansy looking guy entered Kane's body, assumedly that meant that he must have been controlling Full Metal Badasschemist and that he was no longer under his control. So Kane tried to stop his kick, but he was no longer in control of his own body, he wanted to curse but couldn't as he struck FMB and sent him into the wall, but couldn't. Whatever was happening, he had to stop it, he struggled against the chains that were binding him, but he couldn't break free, he swore loudly and kept on fighting.

She couldn't help but sigh in relief a little when she said it wasn't Jak who was causing all this, behind this havoc. So whoever was possessing him was behind all this. Haruhi was confused on how exactly they were going to fight this body possessor.
She nodded at Aeon and quickly helped her lift her brother up carefully, and followed her towards the medical wing.

Once in Kicker's body Jericho watched with a smirk as JaK went sailing into the next floor and loud crumbling sound followed in his wake. Now for the women - this body was much easier to control and objective one was complete. Things were going as planned, step one get viranium, step two retrieve samples, step three tarnish lab.

Things were a bit harder with the soldiers assumably taken out but with this new meta he could wreck this lab within minutes, no seconds, not to mention JaK was currently unconscious. So he could just take back over his body later or take him back later via force with this new meta. So many options.

It didn't take Jericho long to figure out how to work these air walking abilities. Within moments he had launched himself through the hole he made and was on the trail of Aeon and Haruhi. Aeon's satellite scans immediately were able to tell his brain patterns were now off as well. "Damn, Kicker's been compromised and JaK is down!"

Aeon saw him coming and instructed Haruhi to get her brother to the med lab, she had defenses to slow him down. Aeon mentally activated all of the labs defenses and within moments turrets propped up along the walls and opened fire on kicker.

Jericho smirked and literally weaved through the hailstorm at a pace that was definitely inhumanly possible - human eyes would barely keep up with his movements.

Jericho lunged along the walls and soccer kicked one turret into the other, then danced through a barrage of fire from another and kicked it's barrel around causing it to fire on other turrets before stomping it to mush.

With all the distractions taken care of he was again on the heels of the two females.
