Breaking In! - Russian Attack! (Pikazard)

Kane could do nothing but watch as Jericho learnt to control his air powers, he hadn't seemed to have completely mastered them but that was of little comfort, seeing how Jericho still had access to Kane's amazing speed, perfect for catching up to them in a second, and Kane's massive strength, perfect for crushing their skulls. He desperately tried to regain control somehow, but his will was not as strong as JaK's and his efforts were for naught.

Aeon raised her defenses to try and shoot Jericho down, though part of him was insulted she wasn't at least trying to take him out without killing Kane as well, he knew fine well that those turrets might as well not be firing for all that's going to hit him. As expected, Jericho had no problem with destroying the turrets without even losing any distance on the ones he was pursuing, why did Kane have to be so epic!?! If he sucked then he wouldn't have avoided them so well! It was hard to be angry at himself for being epic though, he supposed he could forgive himself.

Haruhi ran alongside Aeon, helping her carry her brother towards the medical wing. As they ran, Haruhi could sense someone was on their trail, and by the smell of it, it was Kicker. But why kicker, Haruhi thought, until Aeon informed her that his body had now been taken over. But if he was the one possessed, what happened to Jak? She didn't have the time to stop or think or even worry, the one who was on pursuit after them was catching up and fast.
Haruhi was about to stop when she saw Aeon slowing down, but was told to keep going. Haruhi did just that, she continued running, even picking up her pace. She could hear the turrets and defenses go off but they were soon quieted as she heard the smashing and small explosions of them being destroyed. Haruhi narrowed her eyes and clenched her teeth to this, they needed to find a better way to slow him down. "Maybe it's best if I try to slow him down, and you take Kole." She suggested.

"Don't worry the med bay is right ahead, just need to turn this corner and..." Once they rounded the corner they found Kicker was already waiting for them. Every wall was busted down along the way and the medical bay was nearly destroyed.

The boy had his arms folded. "What took you?"

The goliath took a step towards them as Aeon dropped to her knees. That lab was all that could have saved her brother. Now...now... Tears welled up in her eyes. That despair was what Jericho wanted, it would make them easier to handle.

Haruhi could fight him, but to protect both of them and fight Kicker would be impossible and leave her open. Jericho would annihilate them quick---

From below the floor suddenly lurched and out popped a pair of hands which grabbed Kicker's legs and pulled him waste first through the floor. Then an archaic white light formed as a hatch opened near Haruhi's feet and out crawled JaK. His shirt had a large hole where Kicker had kicked him but moment by moment his chest cavity seemed to be filling back in and his raspy breaths were getting clearer by the second. "Gotcha."

JaK looked to Haruhi and then to Kristina. He threw a vile to the red head - it was the Sage serum. Apparently wherever Kane had kicked JaK there were viles with the serum around and he grabbed one. JaK gave Aeon a snarky look as she applied the concoction to her delimbed sibling and he prepared to fight Kicker once Jericho had figured out a way to free himself from the floor. "Don't remember giving your permission to register as well as use my blood for an antidote?"

Kicker struggled and wiggled but had no leverage to kick the floor form his current position. "And you, you've been in my body for months and you still made the mistake of thinking I'm that easy to K.O. and that I heal. Real. Fast." JaK couldn't bring himself to address Haruhi correctly yet but it was understood that they would be stopping Jericho and Kicker together hopefully.

Kane screamed at himself to stop as he took a step towards the helpless trio that lay before him, Ryze was injured, Aeon was in too much of a state to fight and Haruhi had to protect all three of them, they had no chance. For a second, Kane thought that he had managed to overpower the will of Jericho and stop his body from moving, but then he realised that actually he had been grabbed and trapped in the floor. Luckily Jericho didn't seem to have a FULL grasp of Kane's powers, Kane could have busted out of this, for the moment Jericho couldn't move, Kane just prayed that they didn't go for his face.

They were almost there, as Aeon informed her, but as they turned the last corner they were met by broken glass, walls and ruble of what used to be the medical wing, and the kicker waiting for them as well.
Haruhi cursed under her breath and gently set Kole down, handing him over to his sister.  
Fists clenched and eyes narrowed, she took a step in front of the two to guard them. Whether she could actually take this guy on, she didn't know, but to take him on and protect them all, well that part sounded impossible. "Aeon I-" she began to say but was cut off with the view of Kicker being pulled into the floor and a white light emitting from the floor right in front of her. Her eyebrows raised and a stunned look appeared  on her face as out crawled Jak from the hatch. He threw a red vile at Kristina and adressed her with his gaze settled on the kicker. A quick glance and head gesture was enough to let the cat-girl know he was there to fight alongside her, which Haruhi replied with a slight nod. She felt a little relieved and less concerned knowing she wasn't going in alone.

"Victory goes to the one who strikes.." The floor began to rumble around Kicker as he flexed his leg muscles and wriggled. This usually wouldn't work, but when your legs are stronger than the material around you one can shave away their surroundings like a cheese grater. JaK realized what he was going to do at the last second and tried to jump in the way. "FIRST!"

"AEON look oouuuu----!!" Kicker suddenly burst from the ground in explosive manner that expelled a heap of airborne debris with him and punted a piece of rubble straight at the the cyber queen. The piece of rubble flying from his foot was faster than human and even some meta-human reaction time. JaK grazed it with his arm, unbalancing it's trajectory, but it still whip-lashed into Kristina's face. The impact was so hard her eye socket looked crushed.

"Damn you!" JaK yelled as he fell to the floor and Haruhi charged forward at Kicker, Kicker did the same lunging forward but soon had a large object propped up in his path by JaK who had both hands placed on the ground and formed what looked like a nine foot stairway in their path. In fact it was a stairway! One in which the teenager had sprinted up just as it appeared and then leaped off towards Kicker to hit him with a spiraling leg drop.

Kicker lunged backwards and JaK missed but instead of escape he went back first into a wall JaK had crated when his palm touched the ground. With his front blocked off and his back against the wall JaK aimed his gauntlet at the possessed hero.

Jericho gritted his teeth, controlling the battlefield was JaK's best method of winning bouts. Kicker lunged sideways to avoid the stream of laser fire, but JaK just kept shooting so Jericho decided he would jump up above it, which is what Sage was hoping, because this was a handicap match after all and that stairway he made was still there.

So Jericho wasn't as trapped as Kane thought he was, it also seemed that Jericho wasn't the only one who didn't know everything about Kane's powers, JaK would have taken Kane's powers into consideration if he knew. Kane frowned, for a second, wondering where Jericho was going with his one liner, but then he realised what he was doing and screamed Kristina! when Christina's eye was taken, Kane cursed and cursed and cursed, but he couldn't do anything about it, no matter how much he fought. It was of little comfort that Kane knew what JaK was planning.

When Haruhi had nodddd at Jak, he had tipped her off, warning about making eye contact with Kicker, to which she gave another slight nod. She then heard Jericho begin to struggle in the floor which was crumbling pretty easily due to his leg strength. Haruhi got in stance as she saw this then saw a piece of rubble come soaring as the Kicker freed himself from his confinement. Not even Haruhi reacted fast enough to block the chunk of debris as it grazed Jak's arm and still hit it's target. Haruhi cursed under her breath as she saw Kristina get hit.
Turning her attention quickly back on their opponent she then charged at him, as so did Jak. Just as she was about to leap and aim a strong punch to Jericho's face, a tall stairway appeared in front of the possessed hero that Jak used to run up and attack him, but even as he missed, Jericho was now pinned between a wall and a stairway as he tried not to get shot at by Jak's gauntlet. Haruhi had also ran up the stairway and leaped at the same moment Jericho did, meeting him in the air, she delivered a flying kick aimed at his jawline, keeping her eyes focused on her kick instead of making eye contact.

Jericho was taken off guard and was kicked in the face - after being unable to lock eyes with Haru - weakening his hold on Kicker mentally due to his now woozy state. However Haruhi had to pull her punches on Kicker unless she meant to severely damage another hero. That, and the now cracked mask halved the damage for him.

Kicker went soaring back but then rebounded in the air and kicked off right back towards her. In the air Haruhi was a sitting duck for a powerful dropkick, but JaK was ready, he shot at Kicker while running towards Haruhi but Kicker only zig-zagged through his fire. He tried forming a wall between them but Kicker flipped over it and within just a half-second was already upon her. He poised a kick that would knock the catgirl right out of the building when JaK suddenly yelled just as he was about to near Haruhi.

"REGALIA!!!" JaK's other forearm gauntlet suddenly unlocked like a jigzaw puzzle and began to envelop his body in black armor as he lunged in the way of the kick. The cover fire and wall he made wasn't meant to stop Kicker but instead buy JaK time to get in the way. Once he was in Kicker's line of fire he raised his forearm and met the kick. The blow hit the armor but the force was whiplashed back at Jericho in the form of a shockwave which sent him reeling back. Jericho/Kicker landed in a knelt position while the armor finished covering JaK.

JaK then stood in front of Haruhi and took a combat stance. "Did you really not think I wasn't aware enough to know what you were doing with that viranium that you took from him, and that I wouldn't figure out how to use it?" It would seem Jericho had composed a suit of armor out of the Sorcer's stone and Viranium from Kole to form a new type of armor that JaK had just dubbed The Regalia.

"It's ok..." Jericho was still hazy, but he knew this armor's weakpoints he had just made it after all. "I'll just have to hit the vitals, and then take you and that weapon back."

JaK signaled for him to come. "Go for it dude." Kicker then launched forward at JaK and had his kick met by a block. JaK and Kicker exchanged in a combat between two trained soldiers with Haruhi also intervening at key points to try and land a hit. This handicap between three super-beings, if witnessed, would have been a spectacle. Kicker's speed was unparalleled but he found no openings on JaK due to Haruhi being involved and all Haruhi's openings were blocked by Sage's new armored body.

What Jericho didn't know during this daring combat was that Haruhi's earlier hit had loosened one of Kane's mental chains.

Kane fought on as the kick connected, he fought on as JaK gained armour, he fought on as Jericho fought the two metahumans. No matter what happened, no matter how much his jaw would hurt when he regained control, he would keep on fighting. He was getting pretty tired, but he had to keep on trying, with one last burst of adrenaline, he burst free! He finally got back in control of his body, just as Haruhi hit him in the face, he fell to the floor with a bleeding nose Wait, guys! I'm me again!

Haruhi's hit landed, even though she held back it still grazed him, which is what she wanted. She didn't want to severely hurt him, it was still a hero's body after all. As Jericho was hit back he quickly retaliated, kicking off the air and aiming her way with a returning kick. Haruhi gritted her teeth , in the air she couldn't maneuver fast enough, if even at all, to dodge any attack. She was pretty much a sitting duck, that was until she saw Jak continue to fire at Kicker. None of the shots hit however, but it did give Haruhi the last second she needed to plant her feet on the ground, but just as her feet touched the floor, Kicker was gaining on her fast. Even with her fast reflexes if was hard to keep up with him, and not even the wall kept him at bay. Haruhi pulled up her arms in a cross formation in front of her to at least try to block off his upcoming attack, hoping for the best, even though she knew by now just how powerful his kicks were. Before Jericho could land the hit on her, she heard Jak yell and then the clang of Kicker's kick hitting metal. Haruhi had closed her eyes, expecting to feel his attack, but as she lowered her arms and opened her eyes, they then went a bit wide in awe and shock as she saw Jak standing in front of her, enveloped in blackish blue armor.
So that's what Jericho was trying to build using Kole's viranium. Haruhi also got into a fighting stance as Jak did, seeing Jericho ready to launch himself at them again. He went in trying to land a hit on Jak, but it was blocked by the armored hero. Haruhi would also partake in the combat, trying to land hits of her own and block or invert his attacks back, away from her and Jak. It was clear they were slowly wearing The Kicker's body down as they continued to fight, and just as Haruhi ducked under one of his high kicks and aimed a punch to the center of his face, he was sent stumbling back and onto the floor. He sat up gripping his crimson dripping nose and waved at them to alert them to stop. "Nice try, how do we know it's really you?!" Haruhi asked as she still refused to make eye contact.

Haruhi landed a shot and sent kicker reeling back, then he signaled for mercy and claimed to be himself again. As Haruhi questioned him JaK peered at his eyes...They were normal color.

JaK changed back to normal as his armor retracted back into his wrist gauntlet and JaK dropped to one knee. This suit really took it's toll on the user. "It's him.." JaK said heavily. "But now the question is what happened to Jerich---" Suddnely Kicker's eyes lit up green again and JaK was kicked in the pelvis. Unprotected this blow did a huge amount of damage and was instantly knocked unconscious.

It was true Kane had broken from Jericho's control but that just meant it was now a tug' o war for the body. Jericho meant to turn and look at Haruhi a moment later, since this body was now compromised, but Kane stalled his head from turning. So Jericho used the body's legs to jump away. "Damn, almost had her, oh well better escape and get control of this body back before I...--" Kicker hit a body as he lunged backwards. When he turned to see who it was he assumed it was JaK and was ready to take the teen over, but it wasn't the boy. It was Aeon! Her good eye looked directly at Kicker. "Come here. Let's see if you can handle MY mind!" Aeon howled as Jericho jumped bodies unable to deny his power once eye contact was made.

Once in Kristina's mind he was astonished at how much information she was processing and began to go mad as he tried to navigate through it all. Soon after he was being torn apart by lines of data that flowed in the girl's mind at all times. Meanwhile Aeon throbbed back and forward while screaming, then suddenly she stopped. She recomposed herself while holding her crushed eye, meanwhile her other one was now bright green. "I got him, whoever the body thief is made a mistake trying to jump into my mind." Aeon sounded vengeful as she looked at her brother. "I streamed his consciousness all over the internet."

When Haruhi asked if he really was back to normal, Kane panicked, just as he was wondering what he could say to prove he was himself without giving away too much information JaK covered him, stating that his eyes were back to normal. He smiled, but then suddenly Jericho took back control of his body and gave JaK a mean kick, if it wasn't for JaK's healing powers it would probably have been fatal.

Jericho tried to take over Haruhi, but Kane wasn't about to let that happen, he wrenched back control of his body and turned his head away. He had saved Haruhi, but then Jericho regained control and jumped away, just to jump into someone. Kane was about to warn them, but then Jericho met Aeon's eyes and control went to her.

Aeon started screaming and Kane panicked, he tried to grab her and help her but didn't know what do do. Just as he was considering knocking her out, she suddenly stopped screaming out of nowhere, he remembered the first time he saw her eye glow but now she looked super scary H-hey... a- are you okay? he averted her gaze, as if Jericho was in control of her body.

"Ok?" Aeon said as a sinister grin crept over her face. "I'm better than okay...I feel.." She seemed to brim with desire, some sexual but more..something else. "For the first time I've figured out what the answer is."

She looked at her brother and leaned over and stroked his cheek. He was breathing fine now and it seemed as though he would make it. Then she suddenly stabbed him through the neck with a piece of broken glass from the destroyed med wing and watched as the blood seeped out and his eyes rolled into the back of his head. "The future isn't giving the the meta-gene to mankind..It's eradicating mankind so the meta-gene can flourish."

Kristina shed a tear but didn't look at Haruhi or Kicker who were probably shocked by her actions. She had just been heart broken by her brothers state a second ago, maybe she was still Jericho? "I'm not him - but I can see it. I can see his life, his memories and those of the people he took over. So much pain, so much...Destruction. This world we live in, it doesn't deserve to be saved." Aeon saw the truth that no matter how hard they fought for equality mankind was weak and would crave power and the more powerful meta-humans and the world became the more man would fight to become just as destructive. Therefore the only solution was to end the world of man and let evolution take it's course.

She licked her brothers blood off the glass and kissed his forehead. "Without the Viranium my brother would've wished for death. Being a paraplegic or half robot was never his fortei. Rest in peace little brother, I'll create a better world in the image we dreamed of." Jericho's thoughts, experiences, and lives of those pour souls he had taken over had all manifested their personalities into Aeon and this was the result.

Jak informed Haruhi that it was really Kane, who had regained control. The cat girl let out a breath of relief but just as she was about to turn and acknowledge the Kicker, he rushed forward and hit Jak hard, knocking him unconscious. "Jak!" She quickly went to his side but as she approached she saw Kane struggling to regain control from Jericho. Eye contact would've been made if it hadn't been for him abruptly turning away. As Jericho leaped back to make an escape, he bumped into and made eye contact with Aeon. It looked like he couldn't help but fall for the girl's taunt and took over her mind...or was trying to at least. Aeon screamed as if in agony as she fought with the perpetrator in her head. Haruhi was overwhelmed with concern, yelling Aeon's name, not knowing how or what to do to help her. It looks like she wasn't the only one, as she saw Kicker was just as clueless.
But then the screaming stopped, and Haruhi saw her good eye glow. At first she had thought Jericho had managed to take over her mind, but as the scientist girl spoke, she informed them that Jericho was no more. Even though he was gone, something was still off about her, There was a sinister, eerie feeling around her that Haruhi could sense, and it sent chills down her spine. "Aeon...."
The girl then flashed a sinister grin when asked if she was okay, which only filled the cat girl with more concern. "Aeon, what are you-" Haruhi's eyes shot wide as, as she watched in horror, Aeon ended her brother's life, the same brother they were racing to save just a little while ago. "WHY'D YOU DO THAT?! AEON?!!" The girl just continued to run her mouth, and Haruhi couldn't bear to listen. "What the hell.....are you saying...."
