Adjusting to this World. (open)

Shadow clambered back to her feet as Joshua approached. 'I'm not hurt or anything, my powers are just weak. Like you saw before, I'm not really good at this type of fighting. I should be okay in a few minutes.' That was a lie. Shadow had no idea how long it would take to recover from destroying the guns, but she wasn't going to tell Joshua that. 'Listen, we need to take the leader down. The rest will probably run off if they don't have any orders. But you know them better than I do, will it work?' Shadow anxiously waited for an answer, watching the battle. From here, she couldn't tell who was winning or losing, if anyone was. Useless.

(Sorry it's short. Kinda braindead atm.)

Jay saw Josh and Shadow talking and eagerly ran over to see if they had a plan because she couldn't go on much longer.
"Please tell me you guys have a plan!" she gasped, one of her wings dragging on the ground, the other tucked tightly to her body.
She was at the point where she really couldn't fight any more and unlike these guys, she didn't have any special powers or toys.

(Huge battle against the space orks and heroes. Space orks want to kill Joshua and every human. So they are having a huge battle in the street infront of a crashed ork ship.)

Joshua looked over at the orks, "No, killing this leader will piss them off more," He said, pointing his bolter at an incoming ork. He fired, hitting the ork in the head, making the ork spin and fall down with blood oozing out of the bullet in his head. He thought for a moment. If they fought the orks would gain more strength, if they don't fight they will slaughter everyone.

He couldn't think of a way to stop this....this ork army. He wanted to just kill Gorgutz but it would just piss the orks off even more. He sat down in the middle of combat and placed the rifle on his lap. He rested his chin on his knuckles, his elbow resting on his knee. "Hmmmmm." he thought trying to find out what to do. He found a thought in his mind that might work, but then dismissed it seeing as it might fail horribly.

He then smiled again, finding an idea that he should have tried a while ago. He stood up and yelled "Oy!" The orks stopped there combat, hearing Joshua's impersonation of Gorgutz. "Ya frekin gitz can't evn hit aye Space Marine. Evn if he was infrnt of ya." Joshua said, taking his helmet off and sticking his tongue out at him. The orks yelled and argued, getting ready to charge Joshua. Joshua grinned, knowing that if he taunted his enemy it would make them clumsy. He hoped that his friends would find out soon.

"Have you people goon loony? jay asked looking at Josh like he had lost his everlasted mind.

She didn't have long to think, the ground shook and she didn't plan to stick around to find out. She ran and ducked behind a pile of nearby cars.
"I'm living in a crazy world!" Jay decided.

Shadow ran to join Jay, her powers still useless. However, she saw what Joshua was doing. He had used the same trick on Gorgutz himself. 'Jay, he's making them angry. They'll lose focus and be easier targets. We have to help.' Even as she said the words, Shadow knew she couldn't. Without her powers she was just a normal 17-year-old. She wasn't particularly strong or fast and she had never learnt any fighting styles. Even Jay's street fighting was beyond her.

C'mon, c'mon, think. There's got to be something you can do, Shadow told herself. But the harder she tried to come up with a plan, the less she could concentrate.

Jay thought for a minute, How in the world do you take out multiple aliens?Without fancy weapons or powers? Jay was so frustrated now. these alien things had their own planet to destroy, they could leave hers alone.
Jay looked around, "Hey, can those things swim?" She had an idea, lead them all to the water, let them all drown, except for two problems, how to get them there and if they could swim.

Joshua kept taunting them intell they frenzied and began to charge at him. He ran to Shadow and quickly said. "Shadow, there are two packs of explosives in my drop pod. They are powerfull enought to send the orks flying where ever you place them." He had heard Jay's idea of sending them in the ocean and said. "Good idea Jay. I think you two can taunt them while in the air and lead them to the ocean. I'll set the explosives instead." He stood up and quickly ran to his drop pod, hoping that the two would taunt them soon or else they would be following him to the drop pod.

"Roger!" Jay said happily, glad her idea was going to work.
She ran out from behind the cars and whistled loudly at the orcs. They all turned and looked at her, "Oh, I'm sorry, thought you guys were flea bitten mutts. But that would be an insult to dogs, there way cuter, even cover with mange." Jay started running down the street and jumped into the air leading them towards the ocean, "Come on pea brains, don't tell me your as physically slow as you are mentally!"
If this plan does work, I'm sleeping in tomorrow! jay told herself.

Oh, crap, flying, Shadow thought. Then, steeling herself, she let her whip dissipate and shut off her shadow sense, putting everything she had into her wings. She managed to lift off, though just barely. Following Jay, she yelled out to the orcs too. 'Oi, ugly! Is that your face, or did your neck throw up?' It wasn't the most intelligent or original of insults, but it worked. The horde of aliens roared in anger and follow Shadow and Jay and they flew towards the ocean.

"Nah, there all running upside down and backwards," Jay said, enjoying this game of tease the cat. Jay flew just out of reach of the front orcs sticking her tongue at them and flying backwards to add insult.

The orcs yelled and slammed there weapons on the ground, chasing after the two winged heroes. "Come bak ere ya mangy gits." Gorgutz yelled, but in vane his orks ignored him, chasing after the two angels.

Joshua ran as fast as he could, his speed incredible and yet noisey as the concrete cracked in every step. He went into his drop pod and picked up two bombs that strapped and covered his back. He ran out of the pod, his jump pack shut off so the bomb wouldn't go off from the heat. He had to somehow get head of the pack. But he didn't know how.

Then he stopped and turned to the drop pod. "Joshua, your an idiot." He said to himself, walking back to the drop pod and closing the pod. He went to a computer and typed in a code, making the pod launch in the air. The pod landed hard, far off from the horde of orcs. He got out quickly, a hammer the size of his body gripped in his right hand. He went to the street that was infront of the ocean and slammed his hammer down.

The hammer made a giant crater, the chunks of concrete flying in the air. He placed the bombs in the crater and lifted a car up, placing it over the bombs. He activated his jump pack when it was safe and launched himself in the air to a building that was close to Shadow and Jay. "The bombs are set, just fly over the ocean and make the horde stop over there." He said, pointing at the street where he had placed the bombs.

Jay saluted Josh in a signal that she understood because over the noise of the orcs she knew she wouldn't be heard. She flew over the water and smirked as she saw a few orcs fall on accident.
"Idiots." she muttered aloud. Jay hovered above the water wondering what she was supposed to do now.

Shadow struggled after Jay, flying awkwardly and lower than the blue-winged girl was. She could feel a small amount of her power coming back, but she was desperate to conserve it, just in case there was more fighting.

Shadow saw the crater Joshua had made and flew over it, watching in satisfaction as the orcs followed. She looked over at Joshua and nodded, letting him know that everything was ready.

Joshua nodded to Shadow and knelt down, taking the detonator out from his belt. He waited intell the horde ran over and past the bomb. Once they were, he pressed the button down, the bomb exploding and creating a soundwave that sent the orks into the sea. Gorgutz, unfortunatly, was launched the other way, sent away from his horde and the sea.

Joshua stood up slowly and watched the thousands of orks drown. He couldn't believe that worked, it would have taken an army to take down an ork horde. But they did it! He sat down, his ears ringing from the sound wave. He laid down on the roof top and sighed deeply.
