Common Room

"Anywhere away from me. That seemed the most appropriate place this morning." She got up and looked at Xzuk a second before moving back towards him and shoving her hands either side of his head and leaning towards him. "Don't you dare threaten to kill me again Xzuk, or I promise you, it will be the last thing you ever do." she hissed into his face.

This was just fueling a fire... and he'd have to let it out sometime... just not here... not now...

"I promise you, that it wont happen again. And if it does, I'll ensure that its the last thing I ever do."

He looked into her eyes... pitch black...

"Now if you'd please, take your hands off of my head, I'd like a mountain dew."

Alyss glared at him again, she could tell he was getting angry. Well far be it from her to not cause a fight.
"You fool. How dare you just leave me alone?!" she said, grabbing his hair and slamming his head back against the wall.

He glared back into her eyes again.

"I dare, because I'm not scared. Because I'm not the one who's running, and I'm not the one who needs a friend."

This was getting to a point where he wasn't comfortable and she knew it.

"Now, Let. Me. Go."

She smirked at his insults.
"I am running yes. But I am never alone, I have my shadows. And I'm sure that they are just aching to meet you," she whispered, slyly. She slammed his head into the wall again, running her hand through his hand and pulling it downwards, twisting her fingers to cause more pain.

If this was the best she could do, she was in trouble... he'd been stabbed through his right shoulder, had his circulatory system disconnected, and and willingly ripped every muscle in his back.

"I asked you to stop twice. One time I even asked nicely. You asked for it."

He closed his eyes and re opened them with a flooded blue light. He proceeded to rip the sound from the room and make a wave pushing her off of him.

Fear smiled as she was pushed backwards by the sound. She went slamming into the window at the back of the room, where she slumped down slightly. She knelt down and dug her hands into the ground. "You'll regret that." Her shadows spilt over the floor and moved towards him rapidly. They held his legs and arms and began to pull him over. Fear smiled and thought of his memory again.

Fallen never loved you. She used you to get where she wanted and now she's never coming back she thought gleefully, sending it straight into his mind.
Alyss was yelling at Fear to stop it, but Fear ignored her other mind and carried on pulsing shadows into Xzuk.

"Why?.... why.... why?...."

He smiled as tears fell from his eyes...

"Why... don't you... tell me something I don't already know...."

He was going numb from the arms in... that wasn't good...

Fear lost her smirk. What was he doing? She moved on to another memory, this time a false one. She pictured his brother, blown apart by the explosion and not alive at all.
Her shadows dragged him to the floor and Fear glared at him as she stood up over him.
"Crawling at my feet. I like it," she smirked.

Xzuk's spirit was breaking again, but once again, he had an inner hero to fall back upon...

"I refuse.... to kneel... to anyone!..."

Wavelength rose yet again and stood shining blue... tears drifting from his eyes.

"Don't make me hurt you.... this isn't something you would do.... I know you.... Or so I'd like to think..."

Fear smirked at him. "You do not know anything of me. You know Alyss, my weaker, more tormented side." she cocked her head and played the thoughts of a dead Fallen, a dead family that were all his fault through his mind again and held her shadows fast. She smiled bitterly. "You wouldn't want to know me. The things i've done, who I am..." she stared off wistfully before snapping back to Xzuk.
"Your so weak, look you're even crying. Why am i even bothering?" she wondered aloud.

"Because... if I wasn't crying.. you'd be dead already..."

He ripped his arm away from one of the shadows and it went from blue to pure white.

He grabbed her by the face and wouldn't let go until Alyss was back.

"Bring back Alyss, or you'll be seeing the brightest light you've ever seen in your life for the rest of eternity."

Fear's eyes opened wide and she flicked her eyes quickly. Darker, darker, until her entire eye was black, even the whites. It gave her a shark like demeanor. "Sunshade," she said, smirking. With that she raised her foot and kicked him backwards in the stomach, powered by more shadows.

"Enough!!!"

He fired a pulse of sound at her making a deafening squeal... hopefully shed have lost any control of her balance... ear drums were sensitive...

besides.. he needed time to regain his breath from the kick...

"Agh!" Fear screeched as her ear drums were deafened. She stumbled slightly and her shadows weakened and began to disappear. But she raised a hand and they sprang back up, holding onto Xzuk and beginning to twist his limbs to rip them off when she couldn't take the pain in her ears and she switched back to Alyss. The shadows disappeared and the ringing in Alyss's ears stopped with the change. She fell to her knees and groaned.
