It's Time...To Rise. (Fright Night Prologue)

As JaK reached out towards Grace with his palm with the spirit still whispering in his ear, he prepared to vaporize her with a single blast. As the magical energy surged throughout his extended palm it met at a medium or point of origin, the eye, the inhuman eye located on the top of his palm. A sadistic grin etched on JaK's face as he prepared to fire upon the girl, when suddenly a projectile hit the eye perfectly and square right before JaK could discharge and disrupted the energy flow. A flash then took place and a build up waves exploded from JaK's wrist, which blew him backwards. Moments later Sage stood again, still very much so a demonic host, but no longer radiating with the unknown evil astral matter. He wanted to give chase, but the ghost whispering in his ear told him to halt. There were much more pressing concerns to attend to...

Back in the Main Ops room things took a rather interesting turn, Shadow-Raven had kept the use of her abilities to a minimum as she tried to remain calm. While Superboy, Brianna & Toji did a good job of keeping the ghouls at bay. Superboy was mainly the one to shine here by keeping the beings from touching Shadow. However, suddenly the ghosts began a new tactic, they all began to spin around the room like a vortex. More specifically around the false Raven and Brianna. Toji seeing this quickly attempted to run to their aid, but upon colliding with the swirling vortex he was sucked up and then thrown aside without actually entering it. Superboy was the next to try, he went to punch through it, but was immediately knocked back as if a dove trying to fly out a window. Meanwhile, the swirling continued and as Brianna stood by Raven trying to be brave this situation was anything, but good. Toji was then going to try his signature attack to break through the swarming ghouls, but was suddenly hit by a beam of white light resembling a pulsar blast instead. Superboy looked directly afterwards to see it was Sage in a demonic looking form who had hit the boy and then turned his sights to Superboy. He lunged into the air towards Conner and enlargened his palm to be twice it's normal size as he brought it down towards the kryptonian clone with his fingers imitating knife or claw like tendencies.

"I've always wanted a rematch against you, shame I wont be killing the real one and just the LITE-version!"

Meanwhile, the ghosts encircling Brianna and Raven suddenly all combined together and revealed themselves to be...The Hollowman. The look of shock on both their faces could be seen miles away and probably through satellite imaging if need be. As Hollwoman formed he quickly dispelled Brianna from the equation by smacking her out of the way no sooner had he formed, a surprise attack, and then moved to collect Shadow-Raven.

"Girl. I know either you or the other is an imposter, but since I do not have the luxury of time at my disposal I have decided to just take you both. A valiant attempt to stop me and my new master, but in the end your team of children has failed. As I've said before, this city and everyone in it will burn and suffer for all eternity. Then when Trigon rises the world will be next HEHHEHEHEEHEE!!"

That being said, Hollowman reached out to grab Shadow-Raven before she could use her powers and within one puff of smoke they were gone....

As Superboy looked over to see what had stopped Toji's attack and as he looked over he saw Jak, except this wasn't the normal Jak that he knew. He looked demonic, almost as if he was possessed. As he looked over he heard Jak say something about a rematch but Superboy had no idea what he was talking about but when he made the "lite" comment he figured he must have had a fight with this world's Superboy before they got switched. "Lite? I'll show you lite" He then saw Jak use his ability and double the size of his palm, ready to bring it down on Superboy, normally that wouldn't bother Superboy but he figured that if Jak had been possessed then there was a good chance it was by a magical entity which meant that he could get hurt during this fight so he had to defend himself, he didn't really want to hurt a team mate but he would if he had to. Instead of fighting back though he grabbed Jak's wrists as he brought his claws down, even though Jak was possessed Superboy still had his strength and was still able to keep Jaks claws away from him, for now at least.

As Superboy caught Sage's arm JaK struggled for a minute and delivered two kicks to Superboy's mid-section in an attempt to make him let go, but of course it was like a five year old trying to force their older sibling to let loose a hold they had on them.

"You're not THAT strong, you're not fast, you can't even fly!?! Admit it Conner...You're nothing, a disgrace to the 'S' shield. We only let you on this team to keep an eye on you, but if you want my true opinion. The day you got switched for our Superboy the world became a worse off. We lost one of our real Supermen that day and received a phony!"

As JaK spoke while delivering the two kicks, suddenly a smile appeared on his face as the hand Superboy had hold of opened up and a beam of white light could be seen ready to shoot down from it, which it did, and right afterwards JaK pointed his free palm forward and shot a magic pulse beam from that one as well.

"You're a clone, an imperfect image of what a real hero is supposed to be! You're never going back to your own world, not because you can't find a way, but face it, they probably don't even WANT you back."

Punching Ariel as hard has he can, Will watches the girl get tossed back and onto the ground by the force. Being stared back at, Will can feel the hatred inside her aimed at him but also a bit of playfulness. Getting back to her feet, the witch casts another enchantment, this one making the trees shoot their grapes at Will and the boulders being propelled from the ground to crush Will's body like falling meteors. Will stands straight as he prepares for the barrage to hit. With his arms down to his side, Will's body remains firm as his eyes become filled with a bright white. His clothes and hair now moving around because of his energy disturbing the air around him, Will feels his power jump tremendously as he witnesses the MaJaK be consumed by acid. As if a new level of power was unlocked at that image, Will's robe is now lifting off the ground behind him and his hands generate two spheres as his whole body emits a grey glow instead of white.

Spoiler:

A burst of this new grey magic makes a dome around Will just as the spikes and boulders were about to impale and mangle him, but are simply turned into black smoke as soon at contact with the new shield occurs. Disintegrating the last of Ariel's enchanted attack, Will looks back at her and begins walking at the woman. Stopping just three feet from her, Will raises his right hand just barely above his shoulder before slamming it and the sphere in his hand into the ground. An explosion comes from the breaking of the magic ball, growing out from the ground and jumps to consume Ariel like a tidal wave crashing down on a surfer.

Furi's fur bristled at the 'beast' comment. Said comment did nothing to sooth the Appoplexian, instead making him more angry, his claws dripping the blood of Nosferatu's hatchlings, his fur matted in places. With an angered roar, Furi lunged, claws forwards, intent to run the vampire through. He may have little to no chance of actually hitting the creature, but he couldn't care at the current point.

All he cared about was the fight. These pathetic weaklings were no match for him, so he'd set his sights on the prize hog as it were. The big boss man of the bunch, bound to be a hell of alot stronger then the 'hatchlings'. He wasnt' even paying attention to Zack anymore, so focused on claiming this new combatant as a challenge

OT: sorry I haven't posted in a while guys.

Bc: Kunoichi jumped on to and over a hunched over vamp, holding her sword over her head she forced it down onto the skull of another vampire and then doing a 360' turn swung her sword into the neck of another. They just kept coming it was like there was no end to them.

She couldn't believe she let one get pass her, she needed to catch up to Raven and fast, she felt like she had let the team, and Raven down. There was no point in putting herself down for it, she just needed to concentrate and hurry, definitely hurry. As another Vampire was pierced in the chest, she heard a scream, a short but audible scream.
throwing ninja stars at four more Vamps she cursed as she felt she was getting no where.
*That's it.*
Using her teleportation she teleported to another part of the tower closer to where she had heard the scream. She ran down one of the halls, yelling Raven's name.

Haruhi jumped on to the back of another demon and began punching it down causing it to lose it's concentration and fall onto one of the building's roofs.
" I copy." Haruhi said as she gave the demon's neck a snap. She wasn't into taking lives and killing, but what other way did you get rid of something that was already dead, and from the underworld at that.

"Oof..." she felt something tackle her down from behind. Skidding on the ground she quickly looked up to see another demon, a bit bigger than the one she had just finished off, standing over her, hissing loudly.
*Great...*.
Throwing her weight back into her arms and then throwing both her feet forward she kicked it in the chest, sending it backwards.

Hollowman looked deep into the recess of Raven's mind, she hid her emotion very well for someone sooo young, but overall not even she could deny the inevitable and not even she could truly mask what the Hollowman could see all too brazenly. The fear; the fear of what she truly was, what she would eventually become, and what would happen if her father were unleashed onto this world. Also, and maybe the most detrimental and why she left the Titans to begin with...That fear that her friends and even this new team will come to distrust her. Just as Zack and many others silently already have.

"Come child do not fight me, I am only but a humble magician trying to reunite a daughter with her FATHER!"

As Hollowman said father, suddenly his face warped and contorted to look exactly like that of Trigon in an attempt to free himself with Raven's spike of fear. And with that a black cloudy mist enshrouded them as Raven took a quick glance at the gun Zack had given her earlier. Who knows what thoughts had been going through her mind at the time; maybe she should have used it or maybe she was contemplating how to use it now. Either way it did not matter because before another synapses could fire a thought the two were gone, just as Kunoichi entered the area. Hollowman was able to sense her fear at losing Raven on approach and took his leave. Meanwhile, in the other tower he had already claimed Shadow. With both versions of Raven captured the world was surely in peril and the Titans were still too busy with Hollowman's officers to come to her aid, thi was surely the dawn of the end for the Earth.

OT: Ok, so now should I keep waiting for Zack or just finish both of the other threads and then make the third one so we can finish thi before Christmas???

So this demon Jak was trying to get under Superboy's skin? Well it was sort of working. If Jak wanted a fight then Superboy was going to give him a fight. "I don't need to be that strong Jak, but right now I'm still strong enough to rip your head off." Superboy then started to charge at Jak but as he ran towards him he was hit in the chest with a magic beam which sent him flying back through a few walls of the tower, he may have broken through a few people's bedrooms but at the minute that didn't really matter. As Jak walked over to where he had knocked Superboy he just saw a pile of rubble and thought that he must've finished him off but as he prepared to tuen and walk away Superboy came bursting back up through it, his shirt had been ripped off by the blast and there were a few scorch marks or something similar on his chest but apart from that he seemed ok to keep fighting. "Is that all you've got? And you had the balls to call me weak."

Shadow was doing more punching than anything, with the occasional flimsy shield of energy or shakily levitated object to keep the ghosts at bay. Brianna was a little in front of her, beating off most of the ghouls that made it past Toji and Superboy and keeping half an eye on the fake Raven just in case she lost control. Not that Brianna would be able to do anything much. Soon enough Shadow was the least of her worries, though, as she was forced back by a swirling funnel of ugly snickering ghosts. Brianna tried to break through just like the others, body-slamming the ghosts only to be pushed back like a fly bouncing off a tank. Shadow moved to catch her, both of them stumbling a little from the force of the push, and before they had any more time to react the Hollowman was leering at them and backhanding Brianna with surprising force, sending her flat on her back a meter or two away. The girl was quickly up again, the only thing injured her pride, but by then Hollowman and Shadow were both gone.

The magic copy of Grace was vaporized by lightening.

Something was wrong. Even though Grace was in pain, she could feel that Shadow/Raven was not there anymore. She wasn't in the tower. Had she been taken somehow?

No. No! That meant that they had failed.

Grace formed enough ice armor around herself to fly out of Scope's room and back to Main Ops. Fighting was still going on, but Shadow was definitely gone.

Grace saw a possessed JaK fighting Superboy and turned to him in anger. She was sure it was the same spirit that had possessed her only a minute ago. "Hey, you got what you wanted? Didn't you? Why are you still fighting? Is your pride that hurt that you have to pretend to be other villains just to feel good about yourself? You make me sick."

Grace had already embodied Necati once tonight. She decided there was no real harm in doing it again, especially if the world was about to end. She summoned the Scythe of Death to her hand, only this time it shone a bright blue instead of black. The weapon would now only affect demonic beings, while ignoring flesh and blood. With this, Grace could slice the possessor while leaving JaK unharmed.

Now if only she still had the strength to fight...

Grace saw Brianna nearby and tossed the Scythe of Death to her. "Brianna. Use this on Sage. Bring him down."

OT: Alright, since this is taking years and people are too busy to really reply I'll just put a summary for you all of what happened after Hollowman captured Raven.

Kunoichi arrives too late to rescue Raven and only finds the gun Zack had left with a cloud of smoke in the wake of their exit. However, soon after arriving in the room the air-ducts in the tower begin to shake uncontrollably and then out of them burst twelve or more so vampires gunning straight for her.

Switch scenes to outside the tower, Zack and Furi are in intense combat with Nosferatu. Zack is laying cover fire on all of the Vampires vital points, but the bullets just pass right through and then the wounds heal. While Zack unloads round after round, Furi and the vampire deliver blow for blow to one another. The bullets Zack fires off luckily bounce off of Furi's skin since he happens to be bulletproof, which is good since it would be hard to have to worry about hitting the Appoplexian when they were locked in close combat. The two beings gash one another with their claws, Furi laying down more damage while Nosferatu takes more successive shots. They beat each other with debris from the island, their fist and even gnaw at one another with their fangs. In the end though, Furi is getting worn down while Nosferatu keeps healing. A couple of times Nosferatu attempts to feed on Furi and Zack while battling, but Zack and Furi through teamwork halt his attempts.

Back inside the tower Kunoichi is attempting to hold her own against the vampires, but there is so many of them that she is becoming increasingly overwhelmed and needs to retreat. Too bad the creatures were cutting off all exits and were way faster than her anyway. As Kunoichi prepares to battle till the very last breath, suddenly, the sidewall of the room is broken through by FangFace and another Vampire he was attacking. As the blood covered alien busted into the room the other vampires he had been tussling with jumped on top of him from behind, but were quickly laid to waste before they could gang up on Ben by Capricious as she fired upon them with her gun. Kunoichi seeing her teammates had arrived covered Julie as she aided Ben by tossing throwing stars at any vamps approaching her. The room was in complete chaos as the vampires swarmed everywhere; there had to be at least twenty-four against three. Actually make that four, for soon help arrived as Sanakan entered the room with what was left of her drones and laid waist to half of them with canon and laser fire, but even this was not enough to quell the threat. For the rest of the vampires on the island began to swarm into the tower! With Raven captured the only orders they had left were to kill the Teen Titans. The bats swarmed into the room, blotting out the walls and ceiling while the four teens stood in the middle of the the Main Ops. back to back to back. Ben in an attempt to hold them off longer switched forms to Heatblast and surrounded the group in a fire dome that would incinerate the undead creatures on contact, but they all knew the omnitrix would time out sooner or later....

Back outside Zack and Furi were being taunted and berated by Nosferatu, who adamantly spoke of his master Hollowman and how he had already won the war and that Nosferatu was about to finish this battle. He continued to extend his offer to Zack about becoming one of them and put down Furi for being an animal/pest that wasn't worth his time. Nosferatu having had enough toying around with the two transformed into a giant humanoid bat and pinned down Furi, while Zack was held down by one of his vampire minions. With both of them fatigued from the battle Furi seemed to be a goner or would at least be turned by the creature, when suddenly the vampire leaped off Zack and onto Nosferatu where he bit into the Vampirelord's neck! Nosfeartu was taken off guard by the action and let go of Furi who then sliced off the Vampire's hand with his extended claw and without the seal of Trigon protecting him the whaling Vampire met his end as Zack capitalized by magnetically catapulting one of his blades right into the creatures heart just as he tossed off his minion that had appearingly betrayed him.

Back inside Titans Tower Heatblast was unable to continue to hold up the fire dome due to Ben's own exhaustion and drops to his knees. Thus allowing the forty or so vamps in the room to charge them all at once, but as their master dies they all burst into ash just mere moments from reaching the Titans. The sudden save leaves the four teens rather confused, but happy and relieved at the same time.

The next scene shows Nosferatu in his last fleeting moments of life as he looks upon the vampire traitor and asks his follower why!? However, soon after making the inquiry the creature takes off it's face seemingly and reveals itself to be Honest! The Vampire king had been tricked and then after a few last dying words are parted between him and Zack the Teen Titan's leader finishes him off with three shots to the head. A morbid victory at best as the other Titans exited the tower and converged around Furi, Liev, and Zack. They had lost Raven, which means they had lost all hope? No, they knew where Hollowman was taking her and that's all they needed to know. As long as they had a chance the Titans would prevail. With that a plan was devised; a few of them would go after Raven, while the others would head to the city to aid the citizens against the army of demons that were ravaging the town. The flames from the enraging battle could be seen all the way on Titans isle. There was no time to lose for the team as they quickly moved out. One could only hope the old saying was true: 'The night is darkest before the dawn'.

OT2: Third thread will be continued as soon as I finish the other fright night. If you don't want your char to participate in third thread, you can just send them to Monster Mash or I'll say they went there either way.

As Ariel's spells destroyed Will's shadow-images and then looked to destroy him, she was certain that she would defeat this young wizard. He was relatively new to magic after all, but it would seem she had vastly underestimated Will's resolve and power of will. For what he did next shocked her; Will dispelled her attacks as if she was a rank 1 spell-caster!

"NOOOoO, this cannot be happening!!"

Ariel screamed out and covered her eyes slightly as her own aura began to rise up like a flame around her body and attempted to battle back against Psychosis's own magic one, but as he approached in comparison hers was being blown back like a match against the wind. Finally being put out when the Titan sent a tidal wave of white magic heading her way and it engulfed her completely.

"This can't be, I was blessed, by the magics of the high-demon Trigon! I should be overpowering you like nuthi---AAIIIIEEEEE!!!!"

After the wave completely washed over Ariel the seal of Trigon could be seen cracking and then eventually shatters from the amount of white magic Will puts out. Leaving Ariel laying flat out on the ground defeated, but alive, and staggering towards him.

"Pleasssse, have mercy, you are a good man William and I admit you have beat me. Allow me to join you and turn over a new leaf, imagine the power you could have if I taught you magic as well...Imagine the power couple we could be. We could be an unstoppable force of good, evil, or whatever we wanted."

As Ariel spoke she assumed an alluringly sexual position as she crawled towards the teen and spoke in a very sensual manner. It was an attempt that had worked for her many times before in the past to get any man to do what she wanted.

Back inside the tower, after blasting away Superboy he rose back up from the rubble and charged back at JaK in one leap, punching him square in his jaw. The hit easily dislocating it, but in demon possessed from just like before JaK's healing factor is enhanced to that like that of his brother Nightmare and as he and Superboy flew backwards he grabbed the kryptonian clones arm and rolled. Monkey flipping his opponent away from him and then rose back up after putting his jaw back in place on one knee.

"You obviously don't get it do you Conner, you are NOTHING to me! In fact, none of you are!!"

That being said, JaK's arms suddenly begin to extended and whip around the entire room as if they were rubber bands. Each one of his demonic matter enshrouded fist collides with Superboy in multiple places. The hits came in bunches every second at a blinding pace, which continued until Grace yelled out to Sage and slashed him with her reaper blade causing Nargok extreme agony. JaK then dropped to all fours, for the gash she inflicted would not heal on the dark matter area of his body. However, as she tossed the blade to Brianna JaK quickly sweeped Grace's feet from underneath her and in a feat of speed not quite as fast a Toji, but still unnaturally quick for a human being and was on top of Grace with dark katanna in his hand. His demonically contorted face beaming down at her with contempt on the more human side and glee on the eviler one.

"You, I will enjoy killing the most."

Soon enough, the Scope and the rest of the Titans seemed to enter back in on the skirmish. When Scope made it back to the Main Ops room, he was shocked to see (who he assumed to be) the Hollowman just as he was leaving with Shadow!

"No!--" he said under his breath.

Just as everything seemed as bad as it could get, evil JaK started to attack everyone! With a deep breath, Scope exploded at JaK. "Stop being stupid JaK! It doesn't matter what you think! Shadow's gone now and you're wasting our time on a grudge! Snap out of it!"

It was then that JaK swept Grace off her feet and held a katanna over her, ready to kill. Although Scope silently wondered why he was especially going after Grace, he didn't have time worry about it. Almost without even thinking, he sprinted straight at the demon JaK. He didn't want to injure Grace with a grenade and that seemed to be all that he had left so he resorted to brute strength. Hopefully he'd have backup before JaK could do any damage.

Right before Scope's rushed tackle hit JaK, he clenched his eyes shut, hoping that nothing too painfully would come of it.

OOC: I'll post there, then, but I need something set straight for my confused brain: the demons we're fighting... what are they, exactly? Like, zombies, blob shadows, et cetera et cetera, and is everything currently kinda mellow over there until, of course, the Hollowman will show up? I've scanned the latest posts, but I'm not gleaming much. :/
