Afterward (For Terra)

Raven, growled after the man pushed past him.
He hadn't meant for any of this to happen, it just had. Never had he expected to meet Terran again, especially so soon. To add to the mix, the Bank across the street's alarm went off. An earsplitting shriek of a sound that made Raven shudder.
It sounds like Dad's crows. He thought, straightening up to go see what the trouble was.

Outside, he saw some people running from the bank, a cloud of dust emanated from its doors.
Dust? Terran! After all this time he... she's still the bad guy? No I can't just make assumptions, she died to protect Jump City, but I'm not letting my guard down around her anymore.
Raven walked outside, hand raised, hoping for someone other than Terra to walk out the doors.
"I'd rather see Slade come out than Terran right now, are you with me if this get's bad?" He asked the man.

In the vault, chaos was unravelling its mischief. The security guards had seen a girl aglow, eyes shining like yellow suns, struggling to control herself. Oh to her horror one of them must have recognised her.

"It's Terra!"

Before they could shoot, the ground reached up and grabbed her, and she found herself stuck in the core of a huge boulder, cushioned with millions of dollars of bank notes.

"Ooooh boy. This is a big misunderstanding. I'm sure if I just return the money and fix everything, and my powers switch off, and they'll surely switch off, everything will be fine. Just calm down. Calm down. Calm doooooooooowwwwww-ow-ow-ow-ow"

The boulder, the size of a huge wrecking ball, now rolled forward, propelling itself past the guards. Their shots did nothing as the orb took on a life of its own, stealing away Terra and the millions, rolling through the main room, crushing desks and smashing through doors, onto the street.

"Ooopph, ow... stop... spinning!"

It did just that, halting, and collapsing into gravel. Terra spilled out into the middle of the street, surrounded by a huge pile of money, rubbing her sore head.

"I think I'm going to be ill." Then her eyes focused, and Raven and Isaiah swam into view. As if by some sick turn of fate, she'd landed right at their feet. Boy did she miss the boulder.

Oh Mah God. You're brilliant as Terra. Thank you for just existing. (little bit too creepy?)

Isaiah looked over at the guy with raised eyebrows, "I'm in on this no matter what... my name's Isaiah," He pushed through the on lookers with his arms raised against the dust. Police sirens were getting closer and he could hear the yelling of the bank guards. He didn't get too far before Terra emerged falling unconscious as the dust settled.

Raven nodded.
"I'm Raven." He said, running forward alongside the man.
Isaiah didn't appear to be anything special, but looks were often deceiving. And Raven hoped he would be a good ally if a fight broke out. The police recognized the Titans in his universe as friends, and this universe seemed to be almost a mirrored version of his own. But perhaps something had changed slightly.
He knew that this dimension was farther ahead in the time line than his own. Perhaps, there would be difficulties ahead.
But I have to make up to Terra, to talk with her, ask for forgiveness, ask whatever happened to Beast Babe... or Beast guy. Wow, much less of a ring to it than Beast Babe.
If she still keeps in contact with the old Teen Titans I could even find this dimensions Raven and get help locating the reagents for the portal!

"There she is" Isaiah said, pointing at Terra who had just stumbled out of the bank and collapsed on the ground.

Isaiah picked up Tara, putting her over one shoulder. He looked over at Raven, "we need to get out of here before the dust totally clears," he gave a tilt of his head to the right. He started back through the crowd, "come on!" he called back. The last thing he needed was the police to know his face and the last thing he wanted was Tara to be jailed for an accident of her powers.

He didn't have time to consider the meaning of Raven's appearance and decide how felt about it. Escape was it.

Terra found herself being transported away before another word could come from her lips. It would have been cliche, like 'wait I can explain' or 'it isn't me' but neither seemed to formulate. She was coughing up dust, and looking across the street in clear confusion.

"Raven?" Was the first thing she could say, briefly catching a glimpse of a shadowy, cloaked individual, sticking out from the people like a saw thumb. Raven, her least favourite Teen Titan. Not because Raven had done anything wrong, or because she was the villain of their encounters. No, her dislike came from shame, and the fact Raven had always been the one righteous enough to confront Terra's flaws.

No sooner was she over Isaiah's shoulder than she saw something else to be concerned about. Two stone hands, made from asphalt and rubble ripped through the road behind them, and came lunging forward, ready to steal her back from his lift.

"RUN!"

As the hands dragged along the ground toward them, each big enough to crush a fire truck, Terra tried to counter attack, focusing her powers, trying to drive the stone gauntlets away. "Uuuugh, come on. Come on!"

Rocks flew up from the ground, smacking into the pursuing limbs. It was as effective as throwing baseballs into a freight train. The hands came on, straight at Raven and Isaiah.

"If you have fully functional super powers..." One of the hands knocked an empty ice cream truck their way. "Use em!"

Isaiah's eyes glew witha violet hue as he assessed the situation, "Raven, what do you got?!" he yelled. His abilites allowed him to zero in on his targets and see at far distances... but the weapons he had on him weren't going to be of much use against the giant rock hands.

He dodged the debris, his grip around Terra tightened. His mind raced trying to shuffled up a plan. Isaiah glanced around at the civilians in the area and... the police, "yo!" he yelled to a scrambling officer, "get the street cleared! Come on," he roared at the cop. He swore under his breath. This wasn't going to be easy by any means.

Raven grunted as he attempted to restrain the stone hands.
His ability to manipulate Earth used to exceed Terran's, but when he returned from his first leave, he'd been much better at it than Raven.
Now Terra was controlling the earth, but unconsciously so. Perhaps she may not be willing it to happen, but her subconscious believed she was in danger and it was using her abilities against them.
Raven ditched trying to control the stones and turned to Isaiah.
"It's Terra she's controlling the earth subconsciously, you've got to convince her tha-"
Raven's speech was interrupted as a stone hand launched him back into the bank with a fierce uppercut from beneath him.
"Terra! I'm sorry!" He screamed down to his two new (and old) friends on the ground as he rocketed backwards.

"Ooops, sorry." She winced as the hand send Raven flying back. She turned to Isaiah lifting her over the shoulder still. "Is it me or did Raven seem more masculine than before?"

The two stone hands made another lunge for Isaiah, trailing one-hundred dollar bills in their wake.

Terra focused her control, trying to remember the tricks Slade had once passed down to her. None seemed to be working right now.

"Uuuuugh... YAAAH!" As the two hands closed in, Terra forced the ground beneath Isaiah to become a flying platform of road. The strip of tarmac shot up, hurtling for the rooftops like a flying saucer, leaving the two gauntlets behind. As it skimmed through the sky she gave herself a deep breath.

"I think... I think that worked. They've given-"

Her words were cut off when she looked behind her to see the two hands had clenched into balls of earth, and were shooting through the sky on an intercept trajectory.

"WAAAH!" She yelped, and the piece of road they were on swerved to avoid them. Again she tried to focus, and to push the two boulders away, but those constructed fists seemed adamant to catch her.

The ground rose beneath Isaiah who stumbled into a crouched position, "Tara! I have an idea," he turned his head to look at her. He set her down, "I need to you to hold on to me, but keep this piece of concrete moving, can you do that?" He was pulling wire out from inside his coat, with a glance at a street ahead of them. He was hoping that the hands getting in the rythmn of chasing the swerving piece of road would continue while he and Terra would swing off.

Feel free to keep going, Ima stay stuck in the bank for a bit.

With a twist of her hips and a subtle gesture of the hands she wormed the boulder through the street, dodging street lights. Up overhead a news helicopter circled... or maybe a police helicopter. She didn't find either possibility preferable.

Carefully, she lowered her hands and clutched Isaiah with a vice-like grip. "I'm not too sure I like this plan," she confessed, knowing only the vaguest hint where it was going.

She looked up to see a similar Terra and Isaiah speeding toward them on a similar piece of rock. It was the reflective glass of a skyscraper. Breaking sharply left, she came inches from impact and arced down another main street.

"Whoa... that was close," she said, giving little comfort to her passenger. Taking a deep breath, she dipped the rock level, focusing as best she could on keeping them stable. The rock trembled, then seemed to calm as Terra's confidence attuned to it.

"Ready!"
