| Setting: The contestants appeared in a giant metal vessel, furnished with large consoles and screens all with complicated buttons and sequences. The system was currently locked, unable to be accessed digitally by anyone other than the maker, and when the contestants looked around a bit, they could see narrow, winding passageways, and very thick glass panels showing they were in the outer reaches of space.
If a contestant is defenestrated and cannot survive in open space, they are immediately disqualified. This applies to any cases in which a window is broken, though this would require a lot of force. First Blood: The Muse

| "Wierd." Gilda thought, looking around the room. She had never been in space before. She had been much closer than most, but never in space. She lightly tapped a window with a spike on her mace. It made sound and she left a small scratch on it. "Note to self, don't break the glass." she said aloud. She then lifted into the air and floated upwards. The ceiling in this room was high enough to get out of reach, but was no aircraft hangar. Her height would be limited, especially if she went into the corridors, then again, she would be much faster than her opponent either way.
Gilda may not be a planner, but she did have a warrior's mindset. She wondered if the gravity in this vessel could be turned off, giving her much free-er movement than her opponent...she might be able to do so by destroying enough of the computers. She decided she would save that move for just in case. It wouldn't be as much of an advantage if the enemy had a chance to adjust anyways.
"Come and get me. Dweeb!" She yelled out.

| Yang looked around and smiled. She was definitely in a perfect environment for combat. Not because of the space, not because she knew the layout, but because of the computers! While Gilda got her bearings, Yang moved directly to the console. She didnt have her laptop, but she did have a communicator she could reprogram! With some rapid typing she had already hacked into the system by the time Gilda had gotten her bearings, and Yang rose a finger to her taunt. "Just a moment tweetums!" She called, crossing some wires in her communicator. "Aaaaand done." She said pocketing the communicator. It now gave her access to all of the ships functions with the exclusion of the flight system which would require access to the cockpit. "Sooooo how can I help you?" She said, finally looking up and winking at the mace wielding harpy. | |

| Official Call: As Yang went to try and hack into the servers and salvage them for her use, she would find nothing responding to her attempts. It was clear that whoever had occupied this vessel previously did not want it to be used. Perhaps someone with more than a first level intellect.
EDIT: Also, Muse, Gilda might be able to break the glass, but it shouldn't chip just from holding it up to it and activating it. It's glass meant to withstand the vacuum of space and perhaps even meteor strikes.

| Tweetums? Yep. This girl was dead. Gilda would make sure that one of the hits Yang would receive would be especially painful, just for that comment. She knew the girl was pretty resistant to hits, so Gilda was sure she could take it, even if she couldn't, this was a competition. "All's fair in love and war." Gilda said with a smile before diving to the ground.
She swooped up just before making contact, her heading was straight at Yang. She sped at the girl at nearly 40 miles per hour,"Breath deep!!!" ,then stopped on a dime, spreading her wings to catch air, just out of Yang's reach, but well within her own as she swung her mace up Yang's chin in an arc, with 3 tons of force. "Fly High."

| Yang shrugged, obviously she had struck a nerve. And that resulted in Gilda resorting to a head on assault and vertical strike. A foolish move. Yang used her enhanced reflexes to quickly sidestep the shot and move in closer. Now she was at point blank range with the swing still in process. Momentum and the laws of physics would forbid Gilda from halting her swing, giving Yang time to use her meta human reflexes to throw three punches. Each one fired a round of bolas from her gauntlets, designed to contain the meta human criminals of jump city. One would bins her upper body and wings, one would bind her forearms to her sides and the last would bind her legs together. With any luck that was the end of it. | |

| Gilda was surprised by the bola's she had forgotten about them. Luckily, her arms were still up from the swing she had just missed. The first pair  simply wrapped around her stomach. She could feel the pull of the magnet on the Nth metal shards, but they weren't powerful enough to rip and tear at her insides and the wince or discomfort was covered up by her reacting to the impact. The second bola pinned one of her wings, not a huge problem but still uncomfortable.
The third one caused the most problems, but it would soon be fixed. Her legs were now bound together, but she could still fight. Before Yang had retracted her fist from the last punch, Gilda swung her mace at the girl, while jumping into the air. The force was reduced to one ton, still enough to lift the girl off the ground with ease, and it's electric field was painfully active.
She then quickly flew to the far end of the room and, upon reaching it, had cut the first pair of Bolas off of her mid-section. She then slipped down and used her Nth metal knife to cut off the set resting on her legs. The blade sparked and glowed for a moment before the metallic clang of metal on metal sounded. "I can fly without my wings. Fun, right?" Gilda said, rubbing where the cables had grated on her skin, "Those hurt a bit, but you'll need better to stop me." she said, taking a fighting stance, mace in one hand, knife in the other, cutting through the Bola around her wing, it would be free in a second, maybe two.

| Yang ducked the swing and groaned. She knew she could take literally everything this girl could dish out, she'd done it already. But really, was it THAT much to ask for her to save both of them some time, shut up, and lay down on the ground? Obviously because she was going out of her way to annoy Yang. Instead of following her, Yang just walked out the door next to her, wandering through the space station while Gilda was turned around. Big place like this? There had to be something to give her an edge. So the computers weren't on her side because of some kind of lock out bs. Who cares. There's always the good old standard tools.
She thought, carefully opening a locker and pulling out one of the tool kits inside. These were everywhere, in case a repair would be needed on the spot, and would make Yang's life a lot easier. Crawling into a vent, Yang set to work. She ejected the bolas magazines from her gauntlets and started modifying their magnetic field. After her first run with Gilda, she knew she had some level of enhanced strength, so it would probably be best to set it to max to make sure that the mace would be pulled from her hand.
During the development, the bolas had a magnetic field and were simply too strong. When she launched them at a wooden training dummy, it closed around it and then completely ripped it in half. Maybe she could use that field to pull the mace from Gilda. It was worth a shot, and at least she could say she tried it then. The rest of the magazine was modified correctly now, as well as the next one and Yang pocketed her new tools into the pouches she used to hold her magazines and she crouched in the vent, waiting for an opening to strike.

| She left. That was unexpected, but not entirely unwelcome...it was still irksome though. Gilda may have took a tactical retreat, but this seemed like a full on retreat. Gilda didn't dare follow the girl so went in a different direction and soon sound herself in, guess what, a hall way. She even found a map of the ship, she looked at it for a moment, paying specific attention to where the life support and anti-gravity channel was, no to mention what it was powered by, some ion drive next to the cargo drive. She quickly set on her way there...right after destroying the map with an electrifying swing, putting a hole in the wall then melting it to a horribly unrecognizable state, just in case, not to mention it helped let off some steam. Upon reaching the cargo bay(<--clicky!) she banged her mace against the side of the ship. "Come on out tough stuff. I'm waiting for you!!!" she said with a smile before flying over and into the middle of the room, "I'm gonna end you nice and quick!" she said with a smile. | |

| Yang moved very quietly through the ventilation shaft, having heard the banging echo through it. As she went, she heard some smashing, banging, and Gilda taunting her, which was almost funny. She was resorting to name calling, adorable. As she moved, she found a small vent opening which was covered by a grate, and she looked through it to see Gilda walking through the room until she finally took off, bringing her closer to Yang's vent. Fantastic.
Yang dropped through the vent right onto Gilda's head without a sound, landing and jumping off the back of her head, launching more of her now modified bolas, which would hopefully bind her entirely this time while dragging her mace as far from her as possible. "If you'd just stay stuck this would be over already." She muttered, annoyed.

| Official: I just want to make it clear no gravity settings are going to be modified. Yang can't get into the systems because they're locked out. It only makes sense any controls for settings would be too.
Of course you might have already anticipated that, but I wanted to make it clear. Sorry for the inconvenience.

| Soundless, of course she would be, if Gilda didn't have enhanced hearing. Gilda bolted to the side as she head something, pretty obviously the only other living thing in the facility, fell towards her. She cleared the Bola yang shot with relative ease now that she was in a large area. She stayed in the air, even after Yang landed, looking down at the girl. "Never gonna get me with those things, ya know?"
Gilda flew around the room at a leisurely pace, keeping her distance from the girl, "I got all day blondie." she said, finally situating herself in front of the window that separated them from space, while keeping a decent distance from it. That would make sure even if she was pushed back, nothing was behind her to cause any pain. It was just flat, thick, glass.

| Yang landed and rolled through it, her durability ensuring she took no damage. Standing up and looking at Gilda, she wasn't even about to get into that fight. That would just be stupid. "So you want me to come over there....and fight you while you have complete environmental domination." Yang shook her head and laughed, walking toward the door on the other side of the room.
"No, unlike you I'm smarter than that. I'm just gonna go do my thing." She taunted, flipping Gilda the bird as she went. "Unless of course you'd like to follow me, Tweetums."
