Common Room Kitchen

Rain half smiled, her eyes turning a grey color. Even though she appreciated his concern, she still couldn't do it.

"If you're all set, then, I'll be in my room. Don't be afraid to come knock for anything."

With that, she walked over and through the hallway.

Jay looked at Zack, "don't eat all of the food in one day." she said jumping off the couch. She turned her attention to the TV, turning it on and finding the Scifi channel. since it was near Halloween, they had some decent Halloween movies on.

Zack grabs a bag of popcorn and sticks it in the microwave. "What if I just ate MOST of the food in one day?" He grinned wolfishly, taking the popcorn out as the microwave beeped. Pouring it into a bowl, he walked over and sat on the opposite side of the couch, which sagged visibly under his immense weight. "Anything good on?"

"Other then the world cheesiest horror movies on earth? Probably," Jay said as she looked over the channel menu, "I take that back, just the worlds cheesiest horror movies on Earth." she settled her wings against her shoulders so she could sit comfortably on the couch.

Zack chuckled, munching on popcorn. "Well it's a good thing no one here is lactose intolerant." He grinned widely at his joke, then held out the bowl. "Corn? You know you want some. It's corny!"

Jay watched the screen for a moment smirking at his joke before responding, "'so are these graphics, OH! saw a wire!" Jay reached over for a handful of popcorn.

Zack chuckled again and continued eating popcorn, though he set the bowl down in the middle of the couch after a moment, he didn't want to keep holding his arm out. In a rare moment, Zack was silent, content with watching the movie and eating popcorn with his team mate.

Jay enjoyed the peaceful quite that had settled. She almost thought Zack had left the room not believing that he could actually keep quite for this long.
Soon Jay reached over and frowned, "uh, your popcorn disappeared." she said looking at the empty popcorn bowl.

Zack looked at the bowl, dismayed for a moment, his grin fading to a smirk. Then he shrugged, and grinned widely. "If you want more, love, I'll get it, but I'm not really hungry right now." He continued staring intently at the movie as if seeing it for the first time. In all likely hood, this was his first time seeing it as he hadn't seen a movie since he had lived with his parents.

Jay's eyes widened in mock horror, "Zack's not hungry? Oh my gosh, it is the end of the world!" she laughed and shook her head,"naw,just thought would be going after the pizzas next." Jay smirked teasingly.

Zack shrugged. "I hope it isn't the end of the world... I've grown to rather like it here." He looked at her. "Wait, we have pizza?" He looked around. "How pissed would Rain be if we ate it?"

Jay smirked,"well, I don't know... one way to find out I guess." Jay said figuring Zack was about to go kill off all of Rain's hard work stocking up on food. "Come on, you get to show me how to us an oven I guess." Jay walked back to the kitchen and started searching through the freezer for the frozen pizzas. She had never had to use an oven and so had barely any technology skills, even the basic home economic ones. She pulled out the frozen pizzas and put them on the counter, "Ok, Magnet head, now what?"

Zack raised an eyebrow and scratched the back of his head. As a scavanger, he usually didn't have much access to frozen goods, and often threw together whatever he could before anyone noticed he was there. When he got lucky, he would discover a house whose owners had gone on vacation, and would cook massive meals for himself. "Well... If I remember right..." Zack stared intently at the pizzas, then at the oven. "We do stuff..." He opened the pizzas, sticking them in the oven. "I think... This seems too easy. I think I could make a better pizza, but if this works, we'll get these done faster." He turned the oven on, and waited. "Now what, Birdie?"

Jay mentally palm faced herself "I feel like I just set an atomic bomb lose in the kitchen." she said looking at the oven like it would explode any minute. "Now, we hope you don't burn the pizzas and I'm going back to my cheesy horror movies, and don't call me birdie, Magnet head."

"If I'm a magnet, you're a birdie." Zack grinned, then looked at the oven. "I'm not so sure it'll go nuclear. It's not powered by a nuclear source as far as I know, and from what I can tell, these things are safe as long as you don't do anything particularly retarded." He stood up and walked over to the couch, sitting back down. "We just have to remember to get the pizzas out in about half an hour."
