Assistance with demon fight(Jinx)

Jinx just couldn't have a normal day.

She even looked normal, well, for her, today. Flats and skinny jeans, with a black coat and her pink hair tied back, she looked, almost, like a normal nineteen year old girl. A normal nineteen year old girl carrying a pint of milk and a bag of bread.

When she saw the chaos ahead of her, the sensible part of her mind told her to keep walking. There was One Tree Hill in a box set on her coffee table just waiting to be started.

But no. She had to be noble.

Sighing, she rested her bread and milk on a nearby stoop. She would not have them wasted. She turned, cracking her knuckles, before thrusting a hand forward. A huge ball of pink went flying towards to the demon behind the guy, and it caused him to stagger and fall over. She ran closer, trying not to attract too much unwanted demon attention.

"Watch your back, dummy!" she called to the other person.

Jinx chewed her lip, hesitant to touch any of these things. She sent a few more bolts of energy at the weird things, hoping to be able to finish this quickly.

"What," she asked, throwing a bolt at one of them, "Are," she ducked, "These," she cartwheeled out of the way, "Things!" she asked, narrowly avoiding one of the things.

Jinx blinked owlishly, ducking an attack.

"You're honestly not joking. I was hoping they weren't..." she muttered, destroying another. Everything just got that bit creepier, and she also realised they were heading closer to the bread and milk.

"Watch my groceries!" she called, annoyed that every time she tried to make a grocery run, stuff like this seemed to happen.

Jinx blinked, before twisting lithely out of the way of another demon. Her eyes glowed pink, and a loud creak resonated throughout the street as a lamp post cracked through the sidewalk, falling and crushing four more of the demons. Jinx twisted away from an attack, grabbing the demon and bringing a knee to its face. Something cut her side, if only a shallow cut. She ignored it for the moment, sending another bolt of pink through the night. Jinx cleared her throat.

"It depends how long you've been here. I've been in and out of the news a lot," she stated, vaguely. She wasn't sure she wanted to start spilling her criminal past to a guy she'd just met. Especially if they didn't already know.

Jinx rolled her eyes. "Always related to the Titans. Great," she muttered, ducking another demon. "Pleasure. I'm sure this is going to be great. I guess I can help you take care of any stragglers. After all, you saved my groceries," she stated, placing a hand on her chest and battling her eyes, putting on a southern belle drawl. "How evah can Ah repay ya?" she stated. Then she snorted. "Sure. Just do it. These guys are ticking me off."

Jinx placed a hand on her hip, her eyebrow raised. Well, that certainly counted as spectacular, and she was kind of ticked off that she had to upstage that. What made it even more impressive was that he had destroyed all but one demon, and she sighed.

"Fantastic. I have to beat that," she said, in reference to the little Wolf Roar thing. She then took her hand off her hip, walking lazily towards the demon. As it charged her, she picked up pace, doing a number of backflips out of the way, before turning swiftly, hands glowing pink as she sparred for a few moments with the creature. Then she grinned, performing a swift roundhouse kick, her foot glowing pink. She so knew practicing hand to hand was going to come in handy. As her foot made contact with its chest, a rail from a rusty fire escape above fell at an angle, impaling it through the chest. As it dissipated in a black vapour, she stared at Toji.

"You alright?" she asked, from a distance.

Jinx sighed. "If you need food or something...I guess you can go find my groceries. I bought chocolate for my One Tree Hill finale night, but I guess you could use it...or something. Just a little though. I still need some," she said, taking all her willpower to stop herself leaving him there and running away with her chocolate to go watch One Tree Hill.

She shrugged. "I try. You weren't too bad yourself, you know, for a Titan..." she said, pointing to the communicator at his belt.
