The New Night Hawk. (Night Hawks only)

Bane grinned as more of the Night Hawks showed up. Alpha was looking chillaxed and being a good sport, while Nikki was getting frustrated fast. As Moon called Nikki a pet, Bane almost choked on her coffee and laughed lightly. If only this new girl knew what amazing person Nikki was and a true fighter as well. As Nikki flopped on the couch, Bane left and came back with another green apple. She sat on the edge of the couch, handed Nikki the next apple and continued to study the new girl.

Pacific was trying to fix the tension in the air by explaining a few things but it was still there. Bane was curious about this girls powers and waited for her answer before she left. Haruchi walked in with a broken necklace, so Bane smiled at her, " I think I can mend your necklace Haruchi, if you want. It shouldn't be to hard." Then Teen Lantern walked in and suddenly the room became very full way fast. She tried to return her focus to Moon but was lost in thought and conflicting emotion.

Nikki looked at the necklace for a second, then turned to the new apple offered to her and crunched into it greedily. At least Haruhi hasn't noticed the string on my chalk board, she might recognize it as her other necklace's remains.i] Nikki thought to herself, chuckling a little.
She was glad that Mr. Pacific had managed to read the board. That probably meant she was getting better at her writing skills in this form, of he had been practicing reading it. EIther way, she was able to communicate a little even in ferret form.

Nikki looked up from her apple for a second as Teen Lantern came in. [i]Well, looks like almost the whole team is here. How many members do we have again? Nikki thought about it for a second, trying to count off the members, but she found that she couldn't remember half of the people any way and gave up. She returned to her already half finished apple and crunched on it some more.

The Blue Lantern decided to speak up and then project the two faces missing from the room, since they were on the subject of how many team members there were and nobody seemed to know. "From what I can tell were only missing Illusion & Marcelline." The faces of both metas were shown in blue holograms as if to simulate that they were actually there. He would leave it up to Pacific to explain who everyone was and their position officially since Mark himself didn't really even know who this girl was other than basics of her species. "That makes about nine of us by my count, although Mar pops in and out."

Illusion checked his watch as he ran. Crap he was late, for a very important date. Well not so important, but Bane had just sent him a text telling him to be at the Nest ASAP. Something about a new person or something like that, he wasn’t really sure. He slid around the corner and dodged a bunch of old ladies gossiping in the middle of the sidewalk. He came to a screaming halt in front of a garage door and popped the lock open. Inside was an ancient motorbike that barely worked, but it got him places. After some serious not starting it finally puffed and smoked into admission and he was off.

He finally pulled into the Nest’s garage and parked his bike next to various other modes of transport. Then he ran around to the front door and burst in. A string of silver necklaces entered before the rest of his body did. His glasses perched precariously on his nose and he took in his surroundings. So that’s what Bane was talking about. There was a new girl in the Nest. “Hello, I’m Illusion. Who might you be?” Glancing around he noticed Bane, and sat on the other couch end. He grinned mischievously and began to shuffle his deck of cards.

It was starting to get crowded in here. Pacific couldn't remember the last time he had seen this many Hawks in one room. It was refreshing.

Many people had walked in since Moon was last introduced, so Pacific decided to give her an official welcome. "Everyone, this is Moon. She's our newest member, and she just helped us beat up an evil magician. I would like to officially welcome her to the team."

Pacific held up a small earpiece. All the Night Hawks had them. They were the devices that the team used to communicate with each other and receive missions. In his other hand, he held up a small key: a key to the Nest hotel. Again, each member had one.

Pacific handed the two small items to Moon and smiled.

OT: I'm back from house hunting.. going to be moving soon now anyways it's just important that i am back!

Moon was over whelmed by the people that surrounded her in the room. She felt really sorry that she mistaken the Ferret Girl for a pet. as more and more people showed up she felt like it was the Moon celebration in her home planet. people would come from all around the planet just to the one town to celebrate there God." Wow, There's a lot more people then i thought there would be. Moon said still trying to count them all. " Powers, well I can fly, I can move things with my mind, and I can move through solid objects." She tried to say them in the simplest way possible. She still didn't really know the human race well yet, she's been in a cave for four years now. " Something you should know about me is that i do not do good in the cold, it slows me down.. a lot!" She said embarrassed. She didn't like to tell people her weakness but these are the only people that would take her in, shouldn't she trust them.

She looked at Mr. Pacific, handing her a key and an ear piece. She grabbed the two items and happily accepted them. Officially welcomed to the team? I guess they do like me! she thought smiling. she looked around at all the people and began to almost cheer for her self, in her head of course. She's usually not an open girl but, some people are different. "Thank you all very much!" She said again. They could never know how much she was thankful.

Bane gave Illusion an irritated look as he showed up late. But her expression softened when she glance at Mark. Stupid boys… they were so confusing. She refocused on Moon and Pacific as he handed her, her new toys. The girl looked extremely happy, which was nice she guessed. As Moon described her powers Bane noticed that she was speaking in layman’s terms. With an uncontrollable feeling she started to laugh.

“Awww, my dear you are such an exquisite creature, that I shall have fun leaning about you and all of your type of people.” She continued to laugh and shake, until it finally settled. Still grinning,“You are going to have such a great time with us. It’s a pleasure to have you on the team.”

Turning to Pacific, “Now my only question is where’s lunch, when’s the rest of my evals, and who gets to show Moon her new room?”

Moon looked at the person that complemented her nicely. "So I guess the Human race is a little more complex then I thought" She thought smiling. she just couldn't just wrap her mind around it that some people would want a person from a planet that doesn't even exist anymore. She can barley pull off the human look with the way her hair is and how dark her eyes are.

"Not to question your works but. Why would you want a alien from a planet that doesn't even exist anymore?" She questioned sort of un comfortably. it was awkward and she hated talking about her planet, but it was cool that they would accept her anyways.

The girl that was amused with Moon said something that made Moon's heart race. " who gets to show Moon her new room?” She didn't think she would get her own room. maybe they would just put her on the couch or something. but a new room! this was amazing!

Bane tilted her head at her new future patient Moon. So she had no home planet anymore, what a pity. She would have liked to talk to others from the girls planet. So she didn’t get a biased opinion of it, but it seems she might not be able to after all. “Doesn’t exist anymore? Hmm… what a pity, I would have liked to meet others… ah, never mind I’m rambling again. Doesn't exist anymore…” Bane tried to wrap her head around how this girl lived through whatever happened to her home planet. It was so confusing, like boys.

She looked Moon straight into her eyes. “Nonsense. Everything exists somewhere in the universe. Maybe not this dimension, but the next, or the one after that. If you are surviving, then you must exist somewhere else as well. And that you will still have a home planet and whatnot.” Bane realized she was rambling on and on again, but she felt the girl needed to at least sort of understand what was happening. Even though she was sure nobody else knew what was going on and how everything Bane had mentioned works, she at least had experienced something like it. Well it was complicated. Like a Facebook relationship status.

Pacific considered Bane's questions. "Lunch will arrive when TL comes back with some tacos." He took two 20 dollar bills out of his pocket and handed them to Mark. "A lot of tacos."

He turned back to Bane. "The rest of your evals will be after lunch, and I will show Moon to her new room."

Pacific gave Moon a double-take when she said her planet no longer existed. Her planet had been destroyed? He hadn't known. She certainly didn't act like her planet had blown up. "I'm sorry about what happened in the past, Moon, but from now on, your planet is Earth, and it's not going anywhere. Now, let me show you your room before TL gets back."

Pacific led the way up the stairs to a nearly empty room. All of the fancy things had been removed when the hotel had been closed down, but there was still a bed with blankets, a mirror, and a nice view of Jump City. "Feel free to decorate it however you want."

Moon looked at Bane " Thank for the encouragement." she said smiling. outside she could look as happy as can be but on the inside, thinking of her planet, she felt horrible. As Mr.Pacific escorted Moon to her room she looked at it stunned. It wasn't much, but compared to the cave it was wonderful. She squinted around and pictured how she could decorate it. " Wow, Mr. Pacific you don't know how thankful I am!" She said walking into her new room. She looked out the window to see the cars going by, people walking around, and of course the city noise.

" out of curiosity, how do you guys get all this stuff? Do you work or something?" She asked spinning in circles looking around her room. She dropped her back pack on the floor and embraced the feeling of an actual home.

Haruhi looked at the necklace and shoved it in her pocket. "Oh, its okay Bane, i can fix it, i just need to find the missing pieces." She said not noticing the part hanging around Nikki's neck. As Pacific introduced Moon as a new member, Haruhi clapped and smiled joyfully. "Welcome to the team!" A new member, that was exciting. Haruhi was happy for her and her team.

She then heard the mention of food, well specifically Tacos. " Oooh, Can there be fish tacos too." She said raising her hand.

She then turned her attention back to Moon as she mentioned the destruction of her planet. She just smiled at her trying to reassure her of her doubt of being accepted in this team. "From this moment on you are part of our family here." Thats what Haruhi felt this team was, not just superheroes saving the world together, but a family looking after one another also.

Almost as if on cue, Illusion entered the scene just as Mark had created his likeness and in an ironinc turn of events he walked in and passed right through it, removing the construct now that the being it signified had taken it's place. Thus leaving only Marceline to be desired, but she was like their come and go honorary so fat chance of that. At this time Pacific finally introduced the alien as Moon. Then in a brief explanation, in which her powers and deeds so far were told to the group, as well as a weakness, Mark could already tell she'd fit right in.

Not soon after everyone would know as much as TL knew about the terrestrial girl once she mentioned her planet having been destroyed. Is Bane versed in a bit of quantum physcis and parallel universes? This girl never ceased to amaze the Lantern. He only dabbled a bit in quantum physics before getting the ring, but after having the joint corps. memory banks inserted into his mind via the central powerbattery for the Blue Lantern's, his mind became very coherent in both subjects, but still how Jacky came across such findings was intriguing to say the least. Mark's thought process was cut short, however, once she mentioned lunch and Mr. pacific automatically selected BL as the delivery boy. Eh, at least he got out of the house and had a reson to do this...

After being handed the money Mark instantly suited himself up in a light show display of blue light energy wrapping around him like a mummy and then forming into his Blue Lantern attire. Afterwards levitating off the ground a little bit before saluting to the others and flying off. "Right. Well if there's no more special orders I'll be back with grease bags a plenty. Chow for now Moon, can't wait to get to know you better." And with that the hero zipped out of the window up into the sky with a blue streak flailing behind him as he soared towards the restuarant.

Alpha listened as Moon told about her abilities and shared her weakness, which honestly Alpha thought was pretty brave of her. He himself wouldn't share that kind of info, unless he knew he could trust the person he was telling. He trusted the Hawks, of course, but it was still a bold move. The room started to empty. TL went to go get some tacos, and Pacific took Moon to her new room. Only a few Hawks remained.

Bane scanned the room after a few people had gone. TL for tacos and Pacific was showing Moon around. Seeing as nothing interesting was going on, she debated whether or not to leave, or to stick around and wait for tacos. She gave a deep sigh, and decided she should at least try talking to the other members of the team. As soon as she went to start asking questions in a totally informal way, Loki arrived. Not Loki as in a person, but Loki the bird, and he was throwing a fit. It probably didn’t help the situation that he was the size of a small Labrador retriever, crazy over protective, and he talked rapidly. He going on and on about people waiting outside the shop, and that he really missed her and stuff like that. As Loki was chattering as fast as a teenager, he slowly shrunk to the size of a normal crow. His emotions did that to him, and it was a good way for Bane to know what he was more or less feeling at the precise moment in time. Then again he always felt the need to tell her anyway. Loki finally stopped talking, noticed he had shrunk, and slowly regrew until he was proper size again. He climbed up into Bane’s lap and surveyed the room. Deciding the tall walkers were not going to be a serious threat to his master he started chatting up those around Bane. “Ello my good tall walkers. How are we all doing today? Have I missed anything important?” Loki gave a light chuckle, “Is Bane not talking to any of you? She does that you know. She rather opts to study everyone of you until she knows everything there is to know about all you. And she’s good at it…”
