| Not sure what happened. My desktop's monitor was working fine but after turning back to face it when I got done playing with this puppy Im babysitting, the power to thr monitor would keep cutting off every few seconds, showing just a minor split second image of what I was doing. Ive already tried turning it on and off, unplugged everything and hooked it back up, and made sure the power cord was turned in. Might be a short in the plug in its in. Ill check in a minute. What else could it be? | |

| Either there is something in the plug like you suggested, the power cable is busted or the plug itself is busted. Do you happen to have another power cable lying around?
One of my monitors has a power entry that's a little bigger than the cable so it has to be pushed in by force, seeing as you already unplugged/plugged thought I'd mention it. | |

| No I do not have a plug laying around. Now my screen is still flashing that split second but there is no power cut out this time | |

| Might be better to take the whole thing. That way you find out if it's the cable, monitor or your graphics card. If that's too much I still suggest waiting for 11 hours for that second pc. | |

| Well my friend lives not even a mile down the road so Ill just ask if I can go down there, test put my cord on his computer, and his cord on my compyter. Now should I try out both my power cord and my cord tuat connect to the tower? | |

You could try both cables, but you could also just use the one from your friend's monitor. With you saying you no longer have power failures I doubt it's the cable anymore though... If he lives that close by just wrap your monitor in a towel and go try it on his pc.
