Creepy Crawlers! (Open)

Ajay looked over and saw that the dinosaur's tail was being swung towards the wall. Ajay pushed off with both of his hands and hopped off of the tail. The tail smashes into the side of the wall, causing a large crack in the wall. Ajay lands on the ground and rolls in between the dinosaur's legs where it would not be able to see him. Ajay looks to his left and then to his right, staring at the kneecaps of the dinosaur.

"Let's hope this works."

Ajay jumps up onto the dinosaur's left leg and then pushes off it towards the right kneecap of the dinosaur. Ajay winds his fist back and then punches the T-Rex right in the knee cap. The momentum of Ajay pushing off the dinosaur's other leg and his strength was enough to shatter the kneecap of the dinosaur. Ajay looked over as the T-Rex's right leg basically gave out now and started to fall over. Ajay ran and then dove out of the way of the collapsing dinosaur.

"I think I hit the dinosaur too hard..."

Meanwhile, after the tail smashed into the side wall and Liz almost fell off the beast from the sucker blow she received from the evil magician. She quickly rolled out of the way off his next blow, which came down towards her like a axe swing. Then kipped up and fired a web-bullet at her foe, but he spun his scepter to block the projectile and fired yet another ray beam at her. SG cartwheeling out of the way of the magical blast and then sensing what was about to happen after the Rex's leg got blown out.

"Nice moves, but this is my stop."

As Ajay busted the dino's knee cap it began to come tumbling down, while reverting back into a big skinless skeleton. Liz foreseeing all this shot her grappling hook up into the ceiling and hung on while waving goodbye to Memiphisto; who yelled out before tumbling down into the stage, covered in the ruble of his once very unhistoric giant lizard.

"Hmm, not bad, not bad. You got skills kid. Got a name that goes with your impressive bug srength?"

Spider-Girl like a real arachnid let herself dangle upside down towards Ajay until she was just beside him.

Ajay looked over at Spider-Girl, who was right next to him. Ajay looked up at long line of the grappling hook and how sturdy it actually was. Very interesting mechanic that she had there. Ajay stops admiring the build of the grappling hook and turns his attention to her question.

"Oh, well my name is Whoop-Ant!"

Ajay says proudly. Ajay then inspects all of the elements of Spider-Girl. He notices the whole arachnid like details about her. She reminded him of one of his favorite comic book heroes, Spider-Man! Ajay now just had to ask his question before Memiphisto would get out from under the rubble.

"Do you read comics!? Cause you remind me a lot of one of my favorite characters, Spider-Man!"

Spider-Girl would smirk before saying 'never heard of him', an iconic remark in the sense that before Ajay could figure out if she was being sarcastic or generally didn't read comic books. The rubble from the destroyed priceless dinosaur fossil would be blown off of Memiphisto, who rose up infuriated by the two bug heroes and looked at each of them with glowing green eyes. A swirling bubble of green magic alluminating from his staff could be seen around him and caused the magician to levitate at will.

"You two will be crushed beneath my feet just like your cousin cockroaches and when I make you both disappear for good, just because you've really pissed me off, I will turn this whole cities' inhabitants into insects! To imitate the foolish heroes they model themselves after."

"Not gonna happen man, there's no way you're slithering past us."

"Odd choice of phrasing, considering I'm no man at all, and I do not slither like my distant descendent's."

Spoiler:

The magician would then toss of all hsi clothing and reveal hsi true form. He was one of the moon worshipping snake people that the JLA had fought a couple of years back. As the story goes from what she can remember, they were a race that inhabited early Earth along witht he caveman and both greatly believed in magic. However a power struggle eventually broke out as men's numbers increased and began to take dominance over the land. The human race prevailed in the war and to save themselves the reptile race retreated to the Earth's core. And that's where they've remained for centuries, now it would seem one of them escaped and is now using his ancient knowledge of magic against them.

"Well that explains why he stole a giant T-Rex skeleton instead of a tank."

"Name's Spider-Girl by the way Whoop-Ant, charmed to have met you seeing as this thing's about to try and kill us in a few seconds. So, um how many super villains have you taken down exactly?"

As Spider-Girl spoke the second sentence, she dropped down into a knelt position with one hand on the floor in a spider like pose; retracting her grappling hook while doing so. Then readying herself for the magic lizard's advance as it still had it's enchanted staff. Meanwhile, while they were on stage all around them the transformed people would still panic hysterically in the stands.

Ajay looks on in astonishment as the magician reveals his true form. Ajay found it as an amazing sight. This creature would be something Ajay would find interesting to study more on. This wasn't the time though because this creature was out to get them. Ajay figured this creature had some pretty good tech, which was able to cause the holographic image of the magician. Ajay thought he had it all figured out now. The staff of course was the source and you take that away than he has nothing. Ajay waits next to Spider-Girl in his fighting position as Spider-Girl then asks her question. Ajay quickly looks at her.

"Uh.. you know, first time for everything..."

Ajay said with a wide smile on his face as he turned his attention back to the giant lizard thing.

"Great...Well heads up!"

As Spider-Girl said this she hopped up high to avoid what appeared to be an energy projection of a king cobra head that emerged from the magic staff. The serpent lashing out and missing SG thanks to her spider-senses. Instead it crashed into the wooden stage, which broke under the force of the hit, proving it definitely wasn't holographic. After the failed attempt at nabbing Liz, the snake would lunge at Ajay with it's fangs extended out. It had no mind of it's own of course being a projection, but was infact tied to it's creator's point of vision. Moving freely at whatever target Memiphisto willed it to attack. Proven by how the tip of it's tail was connected to the glowing scepter the snake man held.

Ajay watches as Spider-Girl dodged the serpent's attack. Then, he watches as it coils up again and lunges at Whoo-Ant now. Ajay went and did a one handed back flip and dodged the strike of the cobra. The cobra then goes and keeps striking at Ajay multiple times. Whoop-Ant continues back flipping until he is backed up against the wall. The cobra coils back one more time and goes straight at Ajay again. Ajay waits until the last possible second and jumps up onto the wall, his gloves helping him stick onto the surface of it. The cobra smashes into the wall, as Whoop-Ant is right above its head. He then decided to jump onto the back of the cobra and slides down the tail of it. Ajay then tries to severe the connection of the stream of energy and punches down on the piece that was connected to the snake.

"Let's see if this does any good."

As Spider-Girl avoided the strike and then saw Whoop-Ant do a sequence of backflips to get away from the magic cobra's next strike. She quickly shot her grappling hook at the lizard being in mid air, thinking that by yanking the staff away from him she could stop the allusion and aid her new ally...Bad Idea! For as her web-line connected with the staff and she tugged on it, Memiphisto would hold on, only budging a few feet. Afterwards Liz landed on the hardwood flooring with raised an eyebrow, all the while continuing on with her yanking of the object.

"Oook, so snake man's a little bit stronger than he looks and he already looked pretty tough as it is."

"Grr, you know. I'm really good at tug-a-war."

It would be at this time that Ajay's punch would hit the energy projection and shatter it like a cracking mirror on impact. Enabling the serpant man to put his full focus on Liz after his creation was destroyed.

"Aww, but sadly I don't play human games and I definitely don't play fair."

As SG and the lizard man pulled back at one another across the stage putting a strain on her grappling hook, the magical creature would suddenly show a smirk and then send a volt of what appeared to be green electricity from his scepter down the web-line; which shocked the heck out of Liz on contact. Thus, causing her to yell out as well as make her hair stand up as she was electrocuted by the magical energies.

Ajay was still in a knelt position until he looked up to see Spider-Girl getting shocked. Ajay gets up and knows that he has to do something to help the arachnid girl. Ajay notices that Memiphisto had not been paying attention to him right now. Whoop-Ant took this as his chance to strike him. Ajay runs at him from his side and jumps up in the air, going for a kick at Memiphisto's head.

"Hey ugly!"

As SG screamed out in pain, Memiphisto couldn't help but lick his fangs with a grin on his scaly face...Well, at least until Whoop-Ant called him out. Turning just long enough to get the anthropods heel in his face. This caused the snake man to go stumbling back and in turn ceased his beam attack on Liz. Finally freed, she would drop to her knees and then to all fours, feeling the sting from that one for sure. Meanwhile, the lizard would regain his composure and lash back at Ajay with his tail.

Ajay was standing in his fighting position, lightly hopping back and forth. Ajay looked real quick to see if Spider-Girl was okay. She seemed to be fine for the most part. Once Ajay turned around, he would see Memiphisto's tail come right at him. Ajay raises his hands to block it with his palms. Memiphisto's tail hits Whoop-Ant's palms of his gloves and was able to take the attack, but it sent him up flying through the air. Ajay is flipping through the air wildly, but regains his composure and is able to land on the wall, using his gloves to stick him to the surface. He stood their with both feet and one hand on the wall and was looking at Memiphisto.

"You're gonna have to do better than that! "

"With pleasure insect."

That being said the snakeman slammed his scepter on the floor and caused a variety of spikes to rise up from the ground. A dozen or so foot long rose like needles propping up in a straight nearly staright line towards Ajay. As it neared, the on going spike trip climbed the wall he was on. Meanwhile, Liz had regained her composure somewhat and began to rise to her feet accessing the situation.

"Man, talk about really feeling like you're part of the show. Guess I owe Whoop-Ant one this time, the kid really saved my butt back there. Now it's time to return the favor."

As Liz inner monolouged, she would leap towards Memiphisto in a single bound and tackled him down. However, the Lizardman rolled with with it and then monkey flipped SG over him. Luckily the acrobatic prowess of the heroess would kick in and allow her to land on her feet. However, apparently her foe saw this coming and as she landed wrapped his tail around her ankle and flung her up into the air and then back down into the floorboards; which cracked in half from the force of the landing before whiplashing her towards Ajay.

Ajay watched as the spikes came closer to him and then up the wall. The first spike that came under him was the one he would use to propel himself off the wall. His high tech shoes were able to withstand the sharpness of the spike as he hopped off it. He looked back as the spikes continued straight up the wall. Ajay would then turn around only to see Spider-Girl come flying at him. It was too late to react for him and Spider-Girl crashes right into Whoop-Ant. The two go flying to the wall and Ajay hits the wall first and then Spider-Girl would crash right on top of him causing Ajay to grunt loudly as the two fell to the ground. Ajay's twelve year old frame really was in pain now as he lied there with Spider-Girl in front of him.


"Yeah that hurts a lot!"

"Tell me about it...Were gonna need a strategy because right now hitting one attack after another is getting our butts kicked BIG Time!"

"What we need to do is get rid of his scepter and then take him down two on one. Lizard breath's strong, but insects triumph in numbers."

As Spider-Girl made her reply to Ajay's complaint about her htting him, she would sit up and rub her head and then quickly jumps out of the way while shoving Whoop-Ant to the left as well. For Memiphisto was coming down at them with a striking blow with his forearm, as his fist collided with nothing his scaly knuckles dug into the stage flooring. Afterwards, he went for a swift swing at Ajay, which Liz used to her advantage; for as he turned his back to her the girl would fling a web-fluid based capsule at the snake being. It's contents exploding onto him in a very sticky and cohesive net that would tangle up their enermy leaving him open to attack.

Ajay went rolling over to the side as Spider-Girl shoved him out of the way of Memiphisto's attack. He heard the floor crack from the force of the blow from Memiphisto. Ajay was slowly getting up to his feet after the attack. Before he knew it, Memiphisto was right on top of him. Ajay shut his eyes and looked down, waiting for Memiphisto to strike him down. A couple of seconds passed and he realized that he was not hit. Whoop-Ant looked up and would see that Memiphisto was temporarily wrapped in web. Ajay quickly looked at Spider-Girl, who was behind Memiphisto.

"Thanks!"

Whoop-Ant would call out to Spider-Girl and then set his sights on the trapped Memiphisto. Ajay pulled down on his glove, tightening it around his hand and then gave a powerful punch into the gut. this caused Memiphisto to slightly tilt his head forward. Ajay used this to his advantage and did a back flip kick right to Memiphisto's jaw. Memiphisto stood there still as Whoop-Ant landed in a knelt position and went for a second kick just the same. The third time Ajay would spring up and hit a jaw shattering uppercut on the still constrained Memiphisto. This sent him flying straight towards Spider-Girl to take advantage now.
