The Tournament Of Heroes! (Titans East)

Lance goes and throws a right hook. Wonder Girl ducks and at the same time goes for a mid kick on Lance. The rock armor was able to absorb the impact once more. Lance looked at Wonder Girl, who had a pretty shocked expression. Lance grabbed her leg with his over-sized rock hand and threw her to the side. Lance stomps on the ground in the direction that he threw her and a pillar of rock forms in that direction. Wonder Girl goes through the pillar, but she is quick to come right out of the rubble.

"What's it going to take to beat you!"

Lance yelled at her as he gets tackled back into one of the large rocks in their part of the arena. Lance lets out a grunt as he got smashed into the wall. Wonder Girl hits a left hook and then a right, which knocks off the armor around Lance's face. She cocks her fist back one more time about to punch Lance square in the face. Lance, although dazed, is able to recuperate and kick her back. Lance was still leaning against the rock as it started to cover his face again so he is protected. Once his head was covered though, a lasso comes around his neck and pulls him in. He looks at it was Wonder Girl's lasso again.

"Ah crap!"

Lance yells as Wonder Girl slams him into the ground with her lasso around his neck still. She pulls on the lasso again, dragging Lance on the ground. She goes a lifts him with the lasso again and slams him on the ground once more. Lance lets out a sigh as he grabs onto the lasso while she was pulling it. She looked in irritation because she was stopped. Lance was holding on to the lasso, pulling back. It became a struggle of Wonder Girl's strength and Lance using his powers to slide backwards on the ground. Lance moves his foot slightly, which causes the ground under Wonder Girl to shift sideways causing her to fall over. At this moment, Lance pulled really hard on the lasso causing Wonder Girl to come right at him. Lance caught her head in his large rock hand and slammed it into the ground.

"I usually don't do this to girls, but you're an exception right now."

Lance said while taking the lasso off from his neck and then tossing it to the side.

Meanwhile, JaK and Aquagirl were in a war with one another and Sage wasn't fairing too well, but not to bad. He was faster than Aquagirl on land that's for sure and was catching her with more shots than she was him. His acrobatic prowess and usual flashy disposition coupled with his kung-fu fight style was making him more than a match for the girl skill wise. However, on this slippery surface he had to be careful, but Aquagirl was used to it and was using the ice to her advantage; as she slid around to avoid many of his hits and countered with her own, also her punches HURT!!

Aquagirl could lift 10 tons easily and she wasn't holding back at all, every hit she landed on JaK made him grunt or physically moved him around like a boxer hitting a bag. Luckily, his armor was stronger than any man made substance and many alien substances as well; reducing the intensity of her blows by more than half. However, it still felt like he was getting hit by a champion boxer each time, so he attempted not to let her get a clean shot often.

As the fight progressed Sage would show off a new trick he had learned while in the arena, his fist would enlargen to the size or width of his chest and with one mighty blown sent Aquagirl sliding across the icy surface. Sadly, she had blocked the shot by putting her forearms up, but it was impressive to see he now had a new control of his power to say the least. JaK could now manipulate the material he absorbed to add more of it onto specific body parts thus increasing it's mass and density.

Lance glanced over and saw that Grace had taken care of her opponent already. Lance had the tougher opponent though. This quick second that he took to look over at Grace was a second too long. Once Lance turns his head back at Wonder Girl, he gets tackled in the gut. Lance thinks quick as he is still on his feet. Lance used his powers to implant his legs into the ground causing them to stop in place. Lance then grabs Wonder Girl around the waits with his hands and raises her above his head. He then slams her into the ground. Wonder Girl seemed to be out this time, but the crowd starting chanting, "Finish her!" Lance was now conflicted with what he should do. He had to pretend he was brainwashed, but he couldn't finish her off completely.

"What do I do?"

Lance then uses his powers and lifts up a rock. He had an idea of what he was going to do. One the large rock he lifted, their was a hold at the bottom of it. The hole was big enough to cover Wonder Girl. He then smashes the rock down onto her, or that's what the crowd sees. Lance drops his armor and walks up onto the rock and raises his arms in the air.

It was too sad that Lance showing mercy to Wonder Girl would come back to bite him. The rock he was standing on started to shake and then a crack formed underneath him, then another and another. Eventually the rock exploded and sent Lance soaring across the air and sliding on his shoulder/back across the ground. Lance looked in shock as Wonder Girl was standing up and ready to fight already. Lance was panting as he rose up from knelt position.

"I show mercy and it comes back and blows up in my face. Looks like I really can't let my emotions get in the way right now."

Lance said as his slightly drained face got serious again. He armored up again to get ready for round two with Super Girl. As Lance was running at her he was also thinking.

"Maybe she is too strong to be stopped. This is basically fighting the girl version of Superboy. Ugh... she is much stronger than that family of three too or at least stronger than the girl they had. I have to use the land more to my advantage, that's the only way I'm winning this."

All of these thoughts went through his head as the two drew closer to each other. Then when they were a mere five feet away, Lance would just disappear. It would seem so quick he did this, that even Wonder Girl did not notice where he went. Lance went under the surface of the ground. Wonder Girl looked around with anger. The a pillar of rock came up and hit her in the face making her stumble back. Then one appears in the direction she was stumbling and knocks her forward, onto her stomach. Then the third one appears underneath her and shoots her up through the air. She soars across the air and lands on the ground, cracking the ground a bit.

Lance sees Wonder Girl go flying straight up towards Grace. Lance hops onto a rock and heads straight up after Wonder Girl. Wonder Girl looks over her shoulder to see Lance behind her. She suddenly makes a complete stop that catches Lance completely off guard. Wonder Girl went and did a spin kick that connected with Lance's armored head. This cracked the rock armor around his head and sent him crashing straight down to the ground. Lance crashes into the ground causing a small crater in the ground. Lance lays there with his rock armor turned into dusts and rubble. The pieces roll off Lance. If it wasn't for his armor, Lance could possibly be dead right now. lance lies there a bit dazed right now. He looks around with his vision temporarily blurred and his head pounding in pain. He took a freaking hard kick. Right now Lance is winded and it is a bit difficult for him to get up.

"Ugh! My head hurts! Nothing stops this girl... I have to think of something before she hurts Grace too. C'mon Lance, get up... get up!"

Lance slowly gets to his knees, then to his feet. His vision had cleared up and saw wonder Girl going right after Grace now. Lance manages to get up to his feet, but they are wobbling like Jello. Lance made a rock come up from the ground so he could use it as support to stand up. The crowd right now was really excited and they just wanted it to keep going until their is only one team standing. Lance and Grace were going to be that team standing in the end of this battle. Lance then looked over at the ice statue that was there of Grace. he couldn't help, but give a light chuckle. The his facial expression changed to being confused. He saw something going on in the ice 'coffin' that Grace put Arrowette in. He noticed something glowing red in it, it looked like she was melting the ice with one of her trick arrows. It was only a matter of seconds until Arrowette had enough room to kick and break out of the ice.

"Looks like I have to put this girl down now."

Lance slowly walked over, getting ready to fight Arrowette now.

As the Yeti version of Miss Martian wreathed in pain, her eyes would suddenly begin to glow and her form would change yet again. This time into a large fire breathing Shenron style dragon! Flames ready to erupt from it's mouth as it towered into the air above Electrified and was about to unleash it's fury upon the girl who was still in the act of shocking the Martian. Luckily, Sage who had seen the dragon rising seemed to know his chances of living were better with a teammate who was still alive and ran up the large lizard's back before jumping off the top of it's head and double stomping Miss Martian on her snout. This caused the fire blast to miss Electrified, who was deciding what to do to avoid the incoming flames at the moment and instead completely melts the icy surface in between the two. This separated Kat from JaK, Martian and Aquagirl; who was running towards her partner and their opponent right now.

As Kat now looked at the wide deep ice cold river that separated her from JaK and their opponents, Sage would continue to battle Miss Martian. Doing a one handed cart wheel to get out of the way of another flamethrower type advance, after sliding off the dragon's nostrils and onto the floor. Immediately after evading the firey breath, JaK would leap high at the shape shifter and place his fist that he had enlarged earlier square in Miss Martian's jaw. This caused the alien to topple over and crash with a thunderous effect, before reverting back to her usual human based form.

The crowd was going wild, not only at this fight, but from the other ones too. Static had almost char broiled Will and the Supermen were going blow for blow at the moment. JaK was separated form his partner right now and seemed to be holding his own for the moment. While Lance and Grace were having a hard time keeping down the Amazonian Princess through combined teamwork. Although, sadly for JaK the tides were literally about to turn. Right after he temporarily knocked down the humongous fire breathing creature, he would be tackled into the ice cold river that had been created earlier from Martian's fire by none other than Aquagirl. Now in her element, Aquagirl was running a clinic on Sage of strikes and kicks at speeds that rivaled anything Dan could throw in the air or on land. Sage only able to cover up at this point, but was taking heavy damage. His armor was starting to crack from the continuous bombardment and to make matters worse, after pummeling Sage a little bit Aquagirl grabbed him by the legs and began to swim straight down to the bottom of the icy crevice. JaK was indeed in trouble and Kat wouldn't be able to do much in the water, being a lighting controller and all. No, if he didn't want to drown soon or get beaten to a pulp, he needed to do something...FAST!!

As Katarzyna looked over the edge of the ice and down into the dark freezing cold waters, suddenly something would wrap around her neck and yank her back. Kat would then look at what was dragging her across the ice and sees Miss Martain's arm had extended like a rubberman and was now yanking Electrified towards her. Martian's face had an evil scowl on it and bloody red eyes that glowed while she reeled in her opponent.

Elsewhere, down at the bottom of the ice ridge JaK Sage was still being dragged down into the bottom of the abyss. Thinking quickly he enlarged one of his feet like he did with his hand earlier. Thus causing Aquagirl to lose the grip she had on his ankle and then lifted his 20 inch foot up before stomping on the girls face. Afterwards he tried to paddle back up to the surface after reverting both his foot and hand to normal size. Sadly, Aquagirl recovered quicker than originally thought and caught up to Sage; putting him in a headlock. As she choked the boy he could feel the air in his lungs turning into carbon. Leaving pretty much no oxygen and causing him to suffocate. He had to free himself form her deadly grip and he did, by elbowing Aquagirl in the ribs causing her to lessen her hold and immediately afterwards he leaned his head forward and brought it back. Head-butting her in the face and causing the Atlantian princess to let go. This gave Sage enough time to make it to the surface and as his head popped up out of the water he would make a gynormous gasp for air to feed his almost completely shriveled lungs.

The crowd erupted as they saw Sage arise from the water and get his body halfway onto the icy land surface. He had survived Aquagirl in her element, now that's something to be proud of. However, celebration and applause might have come to early. For as JaK dragged himself out of the water a geyser would burst out from under him blasting him into the air and then out of the water like a leaping dolphin would come Aquagirl! Who used her hydrokinesis to launch a water orb at JaK and hit him, exploding on contact with enough force to send him flying through the air diagonally instead of up like he was originally going and into the snow covered field with a crash. For now Sage was down and by the looks of it...He might even be out. Aquagirl would then make another geyser of water come up and break her fall before making it carry her over to the land mass to check on her opponent and finish him off if necessary.
