Stay out of the alleys. (shady)

Shady attacking the men with no thought of his own safety in mind glanced in the direction of the whistle. Noticing Nikki he suddenly grew worried. Looking back at the goons he saw half run at her. He stabbed Shade in the dirt. "DONT TOUCH HER" He yelled before he pulled out his Deagle Shooting 2 before they could reach her. As he noticed one hit her he disregarded the 20+ goons walking towards him and ran towards her. He continued to fight them back so she could change into her fighting form and prayed she was in full control.

Nikki got up on her knees and shook her head, why werent they attacking her? She looked back to see Shady had jumped in to keep them at bay and wondered why he would have done that. He had been fighting his own group a moment ago. And it wasnt like a pipe to the head was gonna get Nikki to stop fighting. Remembering that she reached up and rubbed the spot. She was gonna have a nasty goose egg.

She shook her head again she had to get back in the fight! Stop letting her short attention span get the better of her! She stood and transformed, and since she wasnt focasing on so many other things now it happened quickly and smoothly in a few seconds.

She growled from behind Shady as she saw the guy who had clubbed her upside the head and stalked forward with her lips curled back into a snarl. "Hey, arent you gonna keep your pet on a leash" on of the thugs sneered. Nikki looked his direction and snarled. He had decided he was gonna be ferret kibble... course hewas also in the middle of the group. No wonder he felt so stupid. She raced after him and a couple guys ran towards her as well. She jumped over the first and on the second, probably knocking the air out of him for a while. She picked up one guy by the collar of his shirt and flung him across the yard, another was mule kicked when he came up from behind thinking he was sneaky. She grabbed two guy by the heads in her front paws and knocked there heads togetherbut not hard enough to kill em. But they should probably find a good working pain med. She had been doing fairly well when she felt someone jump one her back and start trying to beat her with his fists. She twisted her head back and tried tograbhim but he slide just out of reach, same one the other side. Nikki reared up and roared in annoyance, she did not give free rides she was nobodies pony! She arched her back, twisted, whipped this way and that, man this guy was annoying!!! She was also running into other thugs that got in her way but also trees, bushes, the ground as she tried to slid across that to get him off... anything that was around her was becoming an open target as her one focas was 'get this freakin rodeo clown off!'

Shady was amazed at this girl. He couldn't help but want to protect her. As he was beating off the goon he heard a snarl from behind "You've done it know" he teased them. He saw Nikki fighting back and became alot less worried. He Disarmed one thug and stabbed him in his gut Leaving the knife in him so he can decide his own fate. He looked around and saw Nikki struggling with a couple goons on her and he jumped on the shoulders of a guy standing in front of him and used him to launch himself towards Nikki. He probably crippled the man but he deserved what came to him. He kicked the one goon in the back of the head and he fell of of Nikki. He picked the other one off and Threw him into a near by tree, both died on impact. "You're fine know Nikki i took care of the pests on your back" He joked before jumped off making sure he didnt hurt her. He turned back to the goons and continued fighting after teasing "You want us? Come get us..."

Nikki looked at her back for a moment to be sure they were gone. When she was satisfied she held her head up and pranced across the yard as if she thought she had gotten rid of them herself. She then remembered one had called her a pet... where did that guy go..? She heard Shady dare the few remaining thugs to come get em and chuckled to herself. They hadnt rushed em since they realized they were out powered. The remaining guys were probably just the filler guys to make the gang look bigger or they chickened out. She walked over to the group and snarled and a few shuffled to the back. Couple held their ground.
She decided that these were probably the weakest or stupidest on the group and shifted back and looked towards Shady, "I think these guys are bout as harmless as a couple slugs!" She called and laughed. One of them decided to take advantage of Nikkis weaker human shape and went to rush her, but quickly got a knee to the guy (she had been aiming lower, darn) then got his toes stomped on followed by a punch to the face. "This one might be a snail actually...." a touch slower then the rest she added mentally.

Shady chuckled... "Lets see how they like this" He pulled out his Deagle "Anyone want a bullet in their knee? NO? Then i suggest you get off my lawn" He watched as the living goons ran off... "ill take care of the rest in the morning..." He sighed looking at Nikki "im sorry..." He said walking towards her. "If you want to leave you can" He was going to tell her they were here for him. He didnt want to worry her. "They were here for me.." he became quiet.....

She shrugged "then you could probably use a watch ferret. Two against fifty is better then one against fifty anyway." Shesmiled and nudged a body then crinkled her nose. "That smells sooo much, you would not even believe."
Oh her and her strong nose. The joys it could smell out!...and then there was this. Not her top favorite on the smells list.

"You really did some damage." She observed as she headed back to the house. She hoped she wouldnt have to be on the receiving line anytime soon of this. Hopefully they could find a cage or maybe find a way to stop her from changing before then.

"wait" The only word he could manage. He slowly and nervously walked towards her. He stood infront of her hair over his eyes so you could see how nervous he was. he leaned in "I dont understand these feelings. but you mean more to me then a friend" he half smiled and kissed her. Blushing the whole time.

Nikki frowned when he said she meant more to him then a friend. What did that mean? Pack member? That was a were wolf thing.... team member? Was she part of his team now? Did he have a team? She was suddenly interupted in her train of thoughts when he kissed her and her eyes went wide and-poor Nikki- she couldnt fight the long used reflexes that she had relied on. She brought her knee up suddenly and made contact and hard. She hadnt even meant to do it, she was just to used to being on her own and being mugged that it was her first instinct.

But when it hit she let out a yip that sounded like some one had kicked a dog and quickly gripped her knee and bit her lip, "hoooooley-....shiiiii-" she groaned aas her knee throbbed painfully. "What the hell! You got bricks hidden away under ther or somethin?! Shitaki mushrooms!" She growled while bouncing and balancing on one leg. Even if it had been an accident, she now wishes she could kick him a good one.

He sat there watching her bounce on one knee "cute" he blurted out and blushed again. "your strong. the grunts broke their hands when they punched me, you'll only have a bruise... Im sorry i surprised you... its just.. i feel a connection between us. Like we've known each other forever and that's why we get along and fight together so well." He smiled at her and gave her a hug.

She growled when he said that her kneeing him like that was cute, now she really wanted to kick him, but this time make it hurt, him not her. She was glad that he at least noticed she was strong. "Yeah how bout a little bit of a warning next time?" she muttered as she rubbed her knee then gingerly put her leg down and tested to see how banged up it was, eh not to bad... she half listened when he told her how he felt they had a connection. She guessed it was a good easily made friendship.
And then he went and invaded her bubble again... She looked at him a bit confused but figured that it would be best NOT to try to attack him again and nervously half hugged him back. She figured it would be best to just get used to having another person around, especially if they were gonna be team mates or what ever. Even if it meant this.. huggy... stuff...

He smiled at her... "I told you if i make you uncomfortable to tell me, but next time ill warn you." He looked at her red eyes gleaming. "you look beautiful in the moon light, but lets go in... it reaks of death out here... I wonder why" He smiled at her when he made that last comment.

"Oh I just can't imagine." Nikki said sarcastically, as she stepped over a body to head for the house. as soon as her back was turned to Shady she felt her ears burning a little and she bit her lip. He had kissed her, hugged her and then said she was beautiful in the moonlight. this was a bit weird for her, but it was still better then sleeping in the park with the possibility of being mugged, and free food, and if he pushed his limits to far... she could knock him up a tree in her ferret form. Sounded like a simple plan.

He smiled. He felt this would be a common thing now. Smiling.. "Goodnight sweetie" he said. Sitting on the couch the couch to take in this night. He wondered if she liked him back though... He knew hed lay awake till he was certain for sure.. oh well, he didnt sleep much anyway.

Nikki grumbled when he called her sweetie. She wasn't sure where he got that nickname, or how it had managed to stick past her attempt to kick him in the gut. She watched him sit on the couch and figured that he was going to go to bed and headed to the room to do so herself then, though after the fight she was rather wound up.
