The Age of Adventure (Roleplay Thread)

(OOC: Joshua is standing outside the door to the bar, he moved the bottles with telekinesis.)

BIC: "I'll be there soon." Joshua replied to the 'cat-tain', turning his attention back to the inside of the bar to make sure everyone else got out. While some of the other crew members left as well, some were staying and continuing in their brawls. Come on, hurry up... he thought as he watched the others.

((OOC: If you'd have refreshed before posting, you'd see that I noticed that already. =P))

Chris stood up and walked to the others, "I say we stop before people die, the Navy leaves and the pirates leave, leaving the few decent folk to drown their sorrows or celebrate." Chris had an colony accent, being raised in Boston Harbor.

Elizabeth docked her ship in the harbor, her crew unloading the things they'd recently stolen from a British merchant ship...that they then sank. Well, it wasn't like they could allow anyone to find out what their ship looked like! That would ruin their cover! And that would suck!

Looking down at the dock, one of her friends, Samuel, was struggling with a crate. "Rosa, give Sammy a hand there, would you?" She asked kindly to her long-time friend, who promptly jumped down to give Sam a hand with the fragile crate. Jumping down onto the dock, Elizabeth walked over toward her favorite tavern, which had a few people crowded at the entrance.

"Oh bloody hell...they started without me?" She asked one of the gents by the door, who was dressed more like a colonial than a pirate. "And here I thought I'd get to have a drink or two in peace."

"Ere, ere, I second that notion. Come along pup, no time for duels." JaK said now bloody in multiple areas and still beyond drunk as he ran and snatched up the new recruit. Wee lad he was, but he had quite a bit of spirit. Still to leave that gent to face the Navy by himself didn't quite sit right with ol' Steadyhand, JaK. So he had prepped his exit by ripping off some cloth from his shirt and sticking it in the literal last bottle of whiskey and then lit it ablaze and tossed it at the huddle of Navy officers before retreating out the door. "Oi, ya bloke, you comin or stickin around for the gallows!?" He called to the man who started the bar fight. The Navy would scatter for a moment in loo of the thrown bottle with a lit fuse giving him time to escape, but JaK the pup and the instigator would have to hightail it out of there real quick.

BIC: Joshua continued to watch the fight, happy that someone had the sense to try and stop it. Finally. Hopefully this will end soon. he thought as he turned his attention back to the other pirates. He watched as Jak started a fire before making his exit. Well, time to go. he thought, turning away fom the bar and heading back towards the ship.

Sarza walked out of her Captain's Quarters, waiting patiently for the rest of her crew to return to her, she may have had an evil sounding title, but she would never abandon her crew...that would mean she would have to search for more anyway, and as much as she hated to admit it, her crew had become like a family to her, and she knew it would just keep growing as more and more people asked to join up, suddenly an idea struck her and she knew what had to be done next, although she would have to wait to explain the plan to her fellow crew members, the bigger the crew, the more of a fleet you need, she just hoped that her crew were up to such a task.

Alex waited for the rest of his crew to arrive, by taking a nap.

Alvida followed the captain to the ship and waited for everyone else, they were taking a while, I guess they didn't want the bar fight to finish without them. Alvida looked up at her captain, Sarza. " Aye captain, where are we heading next." alvida asked with her thick Russian accent. She knew soon enough she would have to run to the bottom of the ship and man the cannons, but why not take in the fresh air while you can?

Sarza looked to Alvida with a chuckle "out in the wide open seas, where big fancy ships sail, we're going to get ourselves a sister ship for our ever expanding crew, soon we'll be the tyrants of the seas, everyone shall fear The Shadow Queen and her crew!" she said in a triumphant tone, already feeling the heat of battle rushing towards her "we'll easily overthrow the crew and take every ship we see for our own!" she said before she chuckled "and we can all get our own ship and name it whatever we want and we'll plunder all the riches and live like kings" she said before she sat on a nearby barrel smirking "and I'll find those god forsaken men and make them plead for mercy" she muttered before she tilted her feathered Captain's hat to hide her face.

"Aye Cap'n I brought the lad, we might want to hurry and shove off now. The officials can't be too far behind." JaK says while staggering onboard still not fully sober.

April just about missed what the captain had said, but luckily the crew made such a grand exodus that it wasn't hard to understand the gist of what she had told them. She was in the middle of bashing two faces against each other when she realized what was happening. "Awwww! I was just gettin' around to havin' fun with 'em! Tryin' to teach these land lubbers how to dance!" *giggle* She cartwheeled over one of the navy men's head and out the door she ran.

As she looked behind her she thought she saw the guy she had cartwheeled over look in her direction. "Whoops!" She snuck into an alley and glided up the ladder to the roof tops, getting him off her tail that way. She practically flew from the last roof top and landed with a roll onto the ship. She smiled as she heard Jak. "Well... I 'on't know 'bout the rest of 'em, but there's one guy that won' be botherin' us for a long while!" *giggle*

"Looks like all of us are here Captain." Joshua called from the masthead. While JaK was boarding the ship from the port, Johua had sprouted his wings and flown around the back of the ship before flying up to his current position. He liked to be higher up so that he could see more around him, such as the rest of the crew or other ships near them.

"ALRIGHT THEN! SET SAIL ME HARTIES!" yelled Sarza with a grin as she ran up to the steering wheel as she sails slid down and the gang-plank was lifted off followed by the anchor being pulled up, steering the ship out of the harbor Sarza smiled to her crew "alright you lot, you all want to know our next call of business? Of course you do, we're going to try and capture a ship, any ship, preferably a big fancy one, that'll mean overthrowing the crew, possibly naval soldiers, I want you lot to be on your guard and make sure you're ready to fight anyone and anything you encounter, I have faith in all of you and expect you all to pull your weight" she said as she span the wheel, the ship gradually getting out to open seas.
