Belly of the Beast [Open]

It shouldn't be too hard for Arachni to keep track of Inferno. Was hard to miss the vibrations of a three hundred pound man sprinting through an office building. Now Inferno had to quickly decide where he would be going next to try and evade Arachni (he didn't know if he was inside already or not). Reaching the elevator, Inferno pried the doors open and jumped down into the same shaft Arachni was and even landed on top of it which made the elevator groan slightly. He then hopped off, grabbing onto the other elevator's cables and sorta of slid down it for a short time (his hands getting a friction burn which only served to heat his hands up) before he let go and dropped to the bottom floor with a thud.

Prying open the elevator doors again, Inferno came out. Surely he had lost him now! Inferno stopped for a moment to say hi to the pretty receptionist before heading out. He couldn't be too sure, had to keep moving!

Or a giant bug zapper. In either case, Inferno did take a second to look over his shoulder. Seeing that yes, the pest was still on his tail. "Sonofa-" Inferno swore silently as he continued moving. Coming to a stop at a busy intersection, he took another second to get his bearings and figure out where he was. He was close to where he needed to be, which was both good news and bad news as far as he was concerned. Now cars were driving by making crossing an issue, even if he were to just say heck with it and barrel right through. Which on any other day he would be fine with. But he didn't want to mess up his clothes or get covered in gasoline or oil in doing so this close to his date.

So instead, he simply leaped into the air over traffic and landed on the other side. "She's gonna be PISSED," Inferno muttered as he hoofed it toward his destination.

Quite frankly, Inferno was more worried about pissing off his date then the cops due to the simple fact he would most likely break outta jail anyway. At any rate, Inferno did notice that his hands were hotter then they should be and so was fortunate enough to 'find' a large gulp sized cup of whatever that he put his hands into one after the other to cool them off. Ignoring the steam rising from his hands, Inferno pressed on and after several long strides and a jump here and there, he finally arrived.

"There you are. What kept you?" Inferno's date demanded. Judging by how she looked irritated, Inferno went out on a limb and guessed he was late. Well, he didn't have a watch so couldn't completely fault him.

"Hey sexy. Yeah- see i was kinda held up by some stalker," Inferno apologized, jerking a thumb over his shoulder where Arachni 'should' be coming from any moment now.

"You expect me to believe a big man like you got held up by someone?" his date questioned, arching her eyebrow.

"Well I wanted to see you so badly that I tried ditching him more then trying to flatten him. But he just wouldn't take a hint!" Inferno explained sincerely. Assuming Arachni dropped in like clockwork, Inferno's date tilted to the side to look passed Inferno.

"What, so this is the guy YOU couldn't get rid of?" she exclaimed both in disbelief and irritation. "You got held up by this guy?" she went on and Inferno grit his teeth and barred the insult of it all.

OOC: feel free to NPC her if you want. Would make things go more smoothly xD

Unfortunately, if Arachni was a girl she would have easily start to doubt him. She would have beat him just as severely as Arachni. "The hell he does! I didn't take a day off for nothing little man!" the girl exclaimed, as she started passed Inferno who was just gonna let her go. HE knew what was going to happen from first hand experience... but he was big enough to withstand the abuse. "And no weirdo in a costume is gonna tell me otherwise! You got that?" she went on as she tried to beat Arachni repeatedly with her purse between words.

Inferno meanwhile watched to see how this would turn out. And if Arachni fought back, well- then Inferno could legally beat the hell out of him without having to worry about the cops.

But who were cops gonna believe? A weirdo in a costume or an emotionally distraught female? And Arachni's insulting wasn't helping matters either. Infact, a swift kick aimed between Arachni's legs was quickly applied. "Yeah, I'd watch for that," Inferno commented, still watching and while Arachni's comments were getting under his skin, he was enjoying this too much to let it really get to him.

"And it would be my battle if I considered you worth a spit to fight shrimp," Inferno countered. And that kinda backfired.

"What's that supposed to mean?" the chick said ceasing her assault on Arachni. "Are you saying that you don't have to deal this guy but I do?" she said now taking a few steps toward Inferno.

"No, I'm saying that it would be easy to crush him under my foot cause I have size over him and that it would be overkill. Plus like I said earlier, I wanted to see you more then I wanted to flatten him cause I know you hate waiting," Inferno replied firmly. He put up with alot of crap, but he wasn't letting her just walk over him either.

"Well alot of good that did meat head. What about our date now?" she hissed, now wailing on Inferno who definitely did not have a bag of crap to give. But he did make sure to stay out of leg kicking range.

"Like I know. Not like I planned to get stalked today," Inferno growled.

"Fine. Whatever, just screw it! We're through!" the girl said finally. It was obvious hitting either of them was doing nothing so she did the next best thing as she stormed away from them. And now things were about to get fun.

"Well, my schedule just opened up," Inferno commented in a false calm tone of voice, but his body language was rigid and hostile which said plenty. He was royally pissed off. Now he had nothing he had to do, or any where he needed to be which meant bad things. And with no more quips, Inferno simply stomped his foot into the ground hard, releasing a kinetic shockwave through it. This cause the ground within fifty feet of Inferno to suddenly sink and cave in under the pressure, forming a crater around where he stood before he tore up some of the ground at his feet, broke it apart, and started hurling bone breaking projectiles at Arachni.

This of course would also have the effect of Inferno quickly destroying the city block where they were if he missed. But Inferno was not one to care about collateral damage...

Nope. Inferno still saw a scrawny kid in a costume, which if Inferno was thinking clearly, would be wondering how someone who didn't have his kind of strength didn't even stagger from punching projectiles thrown at him by someone who can lift a bus over his head on a daily basis. But Inferno believed he could lift a tank so naturally he was biased toward what should or should not happen. But Inferno wasn't thinking clearly either, he was literally blinded by rage as he charged Arachni after throwing the last piece of concrete. He also blatantly ignored the piece thrown at him by simply head butting it, making it shatter into little pieces. Inferno was within melee range before you could say 'OH SHI-' And while he wasn't the Flash, his attacks were still pretty fast for a guy his size as he threw a barrage of punches and kicks Arachni's way with no 'skill' in the sense they were elegant and flashy.

Being a brawler, Inferno's attacks were direct and would HURT alot if they connected.

Inferno was already ticked off, so it was no surprise Inferno would fall for Arachni's taunting easier then before. Not to mention the fact Arachni managed to hold him up also riled him up. All this added up quickly as Inferno grit his teeth and started punching the air, sending volleys of fireballs from his fists while moving closer to Arachni at the same time. Now since this was happening on the streets, which included the road, people got the heck out of dodge. Which was a good thing too when Inferno got close enough to a car, grabbing the front bumper till it sank under the pressure of his hand as he pulled and threw the car straight at Arachni.

And this was where Inferno was the most dangerous, using his strength to turn everything around him into a deadly weapon. Of course, his aim left something to be desired as he picked up another car and threw it with better aim then the last one.
