A Special Surprise...On A Special Day.

Ajay would have his back faced to her room so he didn't see anything. He would stand there with his hands up behind his head. He would listen to her ideas as she said them out. He would listen to her last one and would get a confused look on his face.

"A party? Here?"

He would say in a questioning tone as he almost turned around, but remembered that she was changing so stood looking in his original direction.

"Oh wait, ya you're right, that might be a bad idea."

Exiting her room now, Liz was once again wearing her dress with heels and now had a few bits of jewelry on. Such as a bracelet with a thin beaded necklace and feather earrings to match her red and black attire.

"Ok, well then...erm, I dont know. We could go to the fair I guess? I heard its in town."

"This city has a fair!?"

Ajay said in a bit of an excited tone. He heard her heels against the floor and knew that she had finished getting dressed now.

"It sounds fun, let's go!"

Ajay would say as he would urge for them to go. Yet he had no idea where the heck this fair was. Ajay would almost be jumping in excitement, his more childish nature coming out of him.

"Alright then, lets go, its in the East Side I think?.."

As they planned to exit the room, Liz would suddenly realize that she had no vehicle and Ajay wasn't old enough to drive. So instead she looked at the window...

"Think you can beat me there in heels?"

She would say as she spoke of free running to the East Side of the city across buildings. It seemed impossible to do, but then again, being a spider superhero Liz was luckily gifted with perfect equilibrium (balance) and could easily land on the perfect point of her footwear every time without tripping.

"Ohhoh, sounding a little cocky there huh. I'll def take you up and that challenge, heheh."

Ajay would go down a retie his laces on his sneakers to make sure they wouldn't slip off. He'd crack his neck and his fingers and loosen up as he would get ready to go. He'd walk over to one of the windows that was in her apartment. He'd look back at her with a competitive look on his face.

"Oh and no cheating."

"It's not being cocky, it's called being confident. And I would never dream of cheating during a race..."

As Liz walked by Ajay and spoke while he opened the window she would suddenly grab him by the shoulder and with her super strength pushed him sideways, sending the boy sliding across the floor in her apartment. After which time she leaped through the window onto the fire escape and then jumped up climbing the rungs of the metal contraption with her wall crawling ability. After getting to the point she needed, Spidey lunged to the roof of the other building and began making a mad dash towards the next rooftop in an attempt to crate distance between the two.

"For the record, we hadn't started yet!"

Ajay would roll over in a reverse tumble roll and get back to his feet. He had a smirk on his face as he started running towards the window. If you thought about it, in a way Spider-Girl had the advantage in this challenge. She was perfectly balanced and she could still use her wall crawling abilities. Ajay had neither at his disposal, but he did have amazing balance due to his training in acrobats, but not natural perfection in balance. Ajay's smirk turned into a smile as he was running at the thought of this challenge. He would dive out the window and grab onto the bottom grating of the upper floor of the fire escape and use it to flip himself up. Ajay would go up, tucked like a cannonball as he flipped backwards multiple times. His strength was able to provide him with enough power to launch himself up to a high enough point to break out of his ball and land onto the front side of the near top of the fire escape, which was enough for him to push off the siding to the next roof, the same as Spider-Girl.

"Gonna have to try harder if you want to win, haha!"

Spider-Girl would yell back as she saw the boy was already gaining on her, not expecting anything less from Ajay as she lunged across rooftops.

"I see that."

Veering left she quickly front flipped off the side of the roof she was on. Her dress flying up as she fought to push it down in mid turn. Then grabbed onto a street lamp before swinging around it again and again like a trapeze artist until she finally gained enough momentum to let go and flew across the street. Not all the way across mind you, but far enough to land on a large semi-truck driving by in the heavy rush hour traffic. Liz then running across it and jumping off before grabbing onto the side of a window pane on the building nearest the street on the other side. Where she then hoisted herself up above it and onto the roof of this building, continuing to make her way to the East Side.

"Come on, slowpoke!"

Ajay would follow as she quickly shifted to her left and went off the roof. Ajay would stop and cover his eyes when her dress flew up, causing him to slow down. Those few seconds gave her the advantage to getting over to the other side of the street. Ajay would then step back a bit and then jump off, forming a T with his body. He would dive straight down and then grab onto a streetlight like a monkey and swing onto one of them big Academy buses that was just on the other side almost. He would run across the roof of the bus and get into the alley of the building that Liz was on and the building next to that one. He would quickly jump back and forth up the sides of the two buildings, just like a ninja. One last jump and he was on the roof with Liz just ahead of him.

"Don't worry I'm right behind ya!"

Darting across a few more buildings now, Liz suddenly noticed a telephone wire that connected to the top of the building and decided to slide down it like a skateboard grind. Sparks flying up off the wire until she finally leaped off of it and through the window of someone's living room.

"Sorry, excuse me, coming through!"

"....Yup."

"Mmmhmmm."

Once inside she ran past the old people inside sitting on their couch, who were more or less unnerved by the intruder; they did live in Steel City after all. Liz exiting out through the patio and then leaping off the balcony onto their clothesline, which she tight rope crossed until reaching the next roof top.

Ajay would follow onto the telephone line, except instead of skating across, Ajay would take off his red plaid shirt revealing his white tank top underneath, and use the shirt to zip line across. Ajay would go crashing through a window that was a floor below to where Liz had gone. Ajay would crash into a baby boy's room who was about a year old. He was in his crib sleeping and Ajay had woken him up. Ajay would continue running, even though the dad appeared at the door hearing the window crash and baby cry.

"Sorry sir, I'm in a rush!"

Ajay would say as he would baseball slide though the man's legs. Before the man could even yell out or chase Ajay, he would be out onto these people's balcony. Liz was right above him getting across the line. Ajay would go and jump on the clothesline that was set in front of him, with his shirt now wrapped around his waist cause he did not have time to put it back on. Before he could get far though, the dad of the child would come out with a kitchen knife and cut the line. Ajay would now go swinging across and use it to give him upward momentum to jump up and get onto the roof.

"Man I could've died there. Haha"

He would look at Liz who had to use a slower method to get across.

"Who's slow now :P"

Ajay would say in a friendly mocking manner as he started to run again.

After a few more blocks they would be neck and neck getting to the east side, the fair in view now and as Liz jumped off the building along with Ajay. Upon landing her heel would snap and break. She had landed on it too hard, forgetting that she didn't have regular footwear and they couldn't absorb the shock of her fall. After doing so she finally tripped, and had she been a normal girl would've probably thrown out her leg or sprained it, but for Liz it was just a odd jerking movement.

"WHOA! Ouch, awww come on."

That being said, it looked like Ajay had won the race reaching the fair ground first while Liz sat on the ground and pulled out her web-fluid packet. The glue like substance would be useful for about and hour to keep her broken heel intact, but after that it would be done. Placing the heel back in place she would smile as she saw that the sticky substance was working.

"There, good as new. Should work for now."

Ajay would raise his arms like a marathon runner who was crossing the tape. He would pant a bit and then look around not noticing that Liz's heel had broken under her. He would quickly run back to her to see if she needed any help or anything.

"Hey you okay?"

Ajay would say putting his hand out if she needed help.

"Yaya, I'm fine. Well it looks like you won, but well just credit your victory to a wardrobe malfunction, alright?"

Liz would laugh as she got up and wiped herself down after falling. Then began walking into the fair along with Ajay, roller coasters could be seen looping around the grounds as well as a giant Ferris Wheel in the skyline upon entry. Multiple stands with games, hot dogs, cotton candy, kids and families everywhere were also in abundance. Not to mention of course the petting zoo had a dozen animals giving Liz and Ajay puppy dog eyes, which either screamed out..SAVE ME PLEASE! Or FEED ME, I'M STARVING! As they made their way near the trolley ride where multiple horses could be seen pulling stage coaches. Liz looked around while speaking really not knowing where to begin.

"So Usain Bolt, what should we do first?"

"Haha, oh we don't have to make excuses now."

Ajay would say as he teased her a bit. He knew very well that it could have probably easily been a draw or she could've won that race if it wasn't for her heel. Oh well, it didn't hurt to get a little bit of gloating and bragging rights. Ajay would finally take his shirt off of his waist and put it back on, buttoning all but the top and sleeves rolled up again. He would walk next to Liz and his eyes would sort of widen as they entered the fair. He then looked at Liz as she asked what to do first and made a reference to Usain Bolt.

"Oh I'm not THAT fast."

Ajay would say as he knew she was joking around about it. He would look around to what they should do first. There were so many different things around, it was hard to know where to start. People were all over, many food stands, tons and tons of rides, and also other stands to win a prize at. Ajay would then see one of those stands where you have to knock the three bottles off of the stand they were on. It seemed like a fairly simple game, but all of these games were rigged for most people to lose on. One prize that caught his eye was alarge stuffed, red Bulldog Ant. Yes this was Ajay's obsession, ants. He grabbed onto Liz's wrist pulling her over as he ran in that direction, just like a kid.

"Over here, I want to win a prize."

He would say as he pointed to the stand with his free hand.
