Rockin' Up in Jump City (Open)

Cynthia walked through Downtown calmly as she looked around, figuring that she'll probably look for any bars to play in but for now she planned to check out the hotels and look for a cheap place to stay for a while.

Giving a soft sign as she looked in the windows of the store she gave a small frown, she'd need to find a stable job soon and an apartment to live in, she dreaded working the nine-to-five but...maybe she could find some place she enjoyed, maybe a music store "dear god I hope they don't play those rubbish pop tunes" she uttered. She wasn't really looking where she was going as she thought about how her future here might turn out, the things she would have to do.

Cynthia wasn't the only music lover waling through downtown jump that day, though Jake was more apt to be listening to music than he would be playing it. He happened to be walking down that same street with his ear-buds in listening to one of his favorite playlists, when he was bumped into from behind by Cynthia. He blinked and calmly, but without hesitation, turned to look at her.

For a while he said nothing and just stared at her, then took out an ear-bud before asking, "You in a hurry or something?" Event though he was slightly agitated, his face, voice, and general expression showed no hint of this. He simply held the same straight face and tone he usually held.

Jenny was sitting in an alley way using her laptop trying to find a near by hotel she could hack into and get a room. She then heard the sound of people falling and closed her laptop as she stood up hearing a familiar voice of the guy she met at a music store a few days ago. She looked around the corner and her ears didn't seem to be tricking her, it was Jake. Jenny went over and put her laptop away before awkwardly holding out her hands to help them up off the ground not saying a word.
