Jump City Motorcycle Show (Open)

The annual Jump City Motorcycle Show (JCMS) was a way for the motorcycling enthusiasts of Jump City to see new innovations in the world of motorcycles. It was a way for manufacturers to build hype about products that would enter the market in a few months. But for "Sammy," it was a good way to both purview the security before Red X's heist, and to decide which motorcycle he was going to steal.

It was also a way to see which superheroes would be watching the show. It was not uncommon for a hero to show up in suit if they were particularly into auto-mechanics. Red X supposed heroes would show up out of suit as well, but he didn't want to worry about that.

The event lasted the weekend, leaving Red X two chances to get away with a motorcycle. He planned on getting it in one.

"It" in particular looked to be an electric sportsbike, the Hambledon KD600. The electrical engine was a bold move on part of the manufacturer, as efficiency would be impaired with the relatively new field of electrical vehicles. However, Red X had injured himself enough tinkering with xynothium to confidently convert the electrical engine to xynothium fuel. Or at least find someone to do it for him. Amongst all the bikes at the show, the Hambledon KD600 was the only one worth creating the converter for.

"Sammy" joined the crowd viewing it, to examine his new motorcycle.

"Sammy" noticed the superhero in the vicinity.

"This bike's not built for long-distance," he said, "It's...Lightning Wolf, right? It'd be interesting to see how it works up against a speedster beforehand. When's the race?"

Red X took in the hero. He hadn't fought against this hero yet, but he looked young enough to be a Teen Titan. He only knew the name, lightning probably only meant superspeed. Although, if he was a speedster, he'd have to expend much of the xynothium teleporting around. A straight-out battle wouldn't be ideal, not without knowing his speed.

"Ah... Yes, of course! I was the one who won the raffle." It wouldn't be too hard to lift the winning ticket off of the winner, "I'd better head over to the starting line and get my gear on."

"Sammy" discreetly took the winner's ticket, who was just stepping up to tell the organizer he had won.

"I had it just a bit ago..." he said.

"Sir, if you don't have ticket 204, I'm going to have to ask you to step back." said the organizer.

After the matter was settled, "Sammy" stepped up to the organizer and presented his ticket. He was directed to the starting line, with five minutes before start.
