It fell from the sky (Emmi-chan)

Luna nodded happily "of course, do whatever you like" she said softly before she slowly closed her eyes, sneakily wrapping her tail around his legs which pulled them closer together, if he noticed then she would just say she had been doing it in her sleep subconsciously.

Malan'tai noticed but being in a feigned sleep himself chose to do nothing. He drifted into his dreams the normal humans would now be getting a feeling of pure horror from the area around them and so they wouldn't be able to come here.

Luna just slept peacefully, happy that her wishes to not be lonely in her pond had finally come true, yes she had friends on the surface but they'd never sleep over in the water with her, and yes she had Bernard but...he came and went as he pleased, a frog isn't the best source of social interaction anyway.

Malan'tai was up just before dawn and laid there with his eyes closed. He assessed his current situation by feel trying to tell if Luna was still asleep and the level of tangled together they happened to be at the moment. He focused on it and felt a touch of psychic power touch his mind but refused the connection to his people.

Luna was still fast asleep and hadn't moved the entire night, she had been very tired and so had slept like a rock all night.

Malan'tai just laid there unmoving until she woke up letting her sleep as long as she needed.

Luna slowly woke up at about 10am, looking to Malan'tai she smiled, seeming relieved that he was still there, she then slowly sat up and yawned "good morning" she said.

Malantai got up smiling and stretching and said. "I feel that we were quite close last night. I don't mean to sound like I am against that, just letting you know that your presence gave me good dreams, a rare luxury." He floated to his feet and began digging into the mud across the pond with black lightning that tore the dirt apart easily.

Luna smiled as she watched him "I'm so glad that I gave you such dreams, hopefully I can do that again tonight" she said softly.

Malan'tai glanced back and said. "If it's all the same, I was going to make the room deeper and more protective." He looked in her eyes asking "Wouldn't it be nice to have somewhere that can keep anything out that we need to?"

Luna nodddd happily "I agree completely, please, don't let me stop you, do as you see fit" she said.

Malantai dug a tunnel into the ground 20 feet deep before throwing a ball of darkness in, there was a sound like a tearing and a scream as the interior was destroyed making a 30 foot diameter sphere.

Luna watched Malan'tai curiously, wondering what he wanted to do with the "interior" of their underwater pond.

Malan'tai swam down into the tunnel and began working on stabilizing the mud in place so it wouldn't cave in on them. He then swam up and out and said. "Before I can finish I'll need to collect resources... that means I'll need money... Do you know where I can work?"

Luna shrugged "it depends where your skills lay, I work at an aquarium because I'm a mermaid...I could try ask if they need any tank cleaners, seeing as you can breathe under water it'd be easier for you to do it than normal humans plus they won't have to spend extra on air tanks" she said smiling.
