A Blind Date...oh dear...(Ixen)

The Professor nodded "I see, that's quite intriguing, maybe I could use something like that in my experiments" he said before shaking Tiberius' hand then walking back to his lab, muttering about how he could create hairs that sense air pressure that could help blind people, Banana blinking "don't mind him, he's a workaholic" she said with a chuckle.

Tiberius laughed and said smiling. "Well it's a mutation I developed, I have no idea how it really works, I'm sure most of my head is sensing nerves." He squeezed her gently to his side and leaned back on the couch.

Banana turned the TV on, wondering if Tiberius would be able to detect the motion on the TV as she sat with him, pretty much waiting for dinner.

Tiberius could tell she'd done something but had no idea. He still enjoyed the sounds and laid his head against hers gently facing the tv. Tiberius said quietly. "I already ate this week, should I tell them not to worry about me?"

Banana chuckled as she gently stroked his hand and arm "don't worry about it, it's probably something nice and meaty" she said happily.

Tiberius nodded and said. "I mean it'll throw my body off if I eat to often, more than once a week and I start to change again, the longer I go without evolving the better it will be and the less time it'll take." He rubbed her side smiling a little and asked. "You want to explain why you have a cocoon for a boyfriend for a few weeks?"

Banana chuckled "ah I see, well I'll eat yours then, I'm feeling starving" she said happily before she looked surprised "y-you'll be in a cocoon?!" she asked curiously.

Tiberius nodded and said. "That's what happens when I evolve I go into a cocoon and turn back into an egg, I am born again every time I change with the same mind but my body is brand new so there won't be scars." Tiberius smiled proudly and tapped his armor with a talon saying. "As though something could break my armor."

Banana stared at Tiberius in amazement "s-so next time you change you might not have all this armor?" she asked as she kneeled on the sofa and moved as close as she could to Tiberius "y-you might be able to...feel...to touch skin?..." she asked curiously.

Tiberius shrugged and said seriously. "There's always that chance, however I could also be thirty six feet tall and have even thicker armor with massive wings." He smiled remembering flying as a pupua.

Banana looked amazed "I see...well I hope its the latter...that way you'd be able to see normally...and you could feel my soft skin without hurting me" she said softly before she kissed his cheek lovingly.

Tiberius smiled and had turned his head toward her so she ended up kissing his lips and he put his hand on her cheek lightly. He whispered. "I hope so as well, but if I'm soft, then I won't be able to fight as well, meaning I won't be able to protect anyone."

Banana smiled as she gently kissed Tiberius' lips "but you don't have to, and I'm fleshy and soft...but I'm still able to protect people am I not?" she asked with a smile.

Tiberius looked at her curiously and said seriously. "But I can take all the punishment someone sends toward me. I can stop a bullet with my face." Tiberius looked to her and said softly. "It's not in my control anyway though."

Banana nodded understandingly "I know I know...all I'm saying is...if you were soft and fleshy I'd protect you, and I'd really like it, but we don't have the power to choose what you'll become" she said.
