Run in with a... bad guy? (Ixen)

Jane was walking the streets reading a good book as she normally did on Saturday afternoon's. She had gotten so good at reading while walking she never bumped into anyone or anything anymore. She liked walking downtown for this novel because she felt more connected to the scenery in the book, which was a bustling street at the moment. In the story the heroine was running wildly down the city searching for her cousin's small child. Jane heard a cry in the distance and smiled as it lined up with her book.

Only a chapter later did the heroine spot trouble and was racing towards the scene. Jane then heard a sound like an alarm and thought it was just her imagination, but when it didn't cease, she looked up from her book. A Clock store was getting robbed! She couldn't see straight as she same up on the scene, but saw a beastly man standing in the doorway. She assumed this was the culprit and made her nails grow to 3" steel daggers with her enchantment, Nails, grow!

She rushed at him without thinking and attempted to slash at his side, not caring that she should actually talk to him first.

Tiberius felt her run up and his sword arm popped up in the way stopping her nails. He turned his eyeless face toward her and said calmly. "Oh, a new enemy. Good I was hoping things would be interesting this time." Tiberius was a warrior first and a hero second. He loved the thrill of battle and was always looking for more people to fight stronger, faster, smarter, the better someone was the more of a thrill it gave him. Obviously those with superpowers were in a league of their own.

Tiberius swung up with his fist in an attempted upper cut for her chin. He would lunge forward and attempt to bite her extended arm if she dodged the punch, he always assumed his first strike would be dodged. Tiberius was wanting to see how much fun this would be.

Jane was shoved back a bit when he stopped her nails mid swing. She growled under her breath as she did a cartwheel to get away from him, but he lunged towards her. She instinctively threw up an arm to block the uppercut, and as his mouth came towards her other arm she plunged her nails pointing at his mouth so that if he continued his path, he'd get a mouth full of metal. She then, half a second later, brought her knee up hoping to collide with his jaw. It'll be more than interesting for you! She would then try to push of his chest to do a back flip and get a little space again.

Tiberius felt something extend and jumped thirty feet straight up. He grabbed the side of the building and waited a moment before dropping, whatever it was she was trying to slice up the inside of his mouth with it, easy solution just keep his mouth shut. Tiberius stopped when he landed not sure where she was anymore. He couldn't see her and he was too far away to feel her. Tiberius turned and stepped forward before turning to his left and taking another step. He then did a 180 and just looked around clearly not sure where to go.

Jane's foot didn't land on Tib's chest like she had planned but she did a backhandspring anyway and watched him for a moment. She could tell he was confused as he turned around and smirked. She had thought when she first saw him she thought it was peculiar that he didn't have eyes, but paid no special attention to it. Now, she inferred from his confused state that he was blind and had to use other means to detect his opponent. She knew an easy way to counter him, hopefully. She whispered almost inaudibly even to herself, Teleport me, teleport me, teleport me to danger guaranteed. She concentrated on the area right above Tib's face and teleported in the bling of an eye. As she came down, she had her claws extended and slashed at his face, then landed for a split second before flipping away again.

Tiberius sensed the change in the air and his talons flew up to block, they barely made it in time and she hit his armor, just from a touch it was apparent how thick it was. He swung his fist a second too late and only hit air. He jumped backwards so his back was against a corner. He could tell she was fast but so was he and he had his armor. His four arms waited at various heights to block and counter attack two were hands but the others ended in swords. Tiberius yelled out "Another coward eh, I'll make sure to swing first next time and let you hit."

Jane realized when she hit his armor that this would be a more difficult match than she had intended. As she flung backwards she tried to assess her next move. When she landed she saw that he had moved into a corner and had assumed a defensive position. She thought about attacking again, especially after he called her a coward, but she was also intelligent enough to realize she wouldn't be as successful in her move as she would like. Interesting... She simply stepped towards him to see what his reaction would be. She had never fought a blind foe before and needed to be a bit more careful, not to mention the fact that he had four arms...

Tiberius sensed her approach from in front and he kicked a rock at her nearly as fast as a bullet. He wouldn't give up the defensive position, Tib wasn't used to fighting defensively especially when his enemy didn't charge headlong at him. Typically he ambushed and the fight was over in seconds. Teleportation added a whole new frustration for him.
