A Blind Date...oh dear...(Ixen)

Tiberius closed his fingers around her hand his expression one of effort. It was one of only a few times he'd been gentle with anything. He closed his hand lightly around hers and said. "Glad that went well. I'm not exactly evolved for being gentle. Then again, if you protect people in this world your probably tough."

Banana nodded "I have super strength but not a lot of durability, my sisters are the ones with all the super powers, but my father is a scientist, I am his creation so I expect he'll know how to help me if I get a little roughed up" she explained calmly.

Tiberius nodded smiling at her and said. "I can help protect you. You want to head somewhere a little more friendly to someone of my particular body type. I think I'm the reason we haven't seen a waiter." he stroked the back of her hand with one of his finger tips wondering what it would feel like.

Banana nodded and stood up "yes let's" she said before she stood up and lead Tiberius out of the cafe "we can go to my house if you like, my back-yard will be a nice place for us to relax" she said happily.

Tiberius nodded and said. "That sounds like a great place." Tiberius walked next to her using the motion to get his first look at her. He smiled and said. "You look great now that I can see you." he offered his hand again he didn't plan to try holding it since that would take concentration.

Banana blushed a little and smiled at Tiberius shyly "t-thank you...you're not too bad yourself" she said happily as she wrapped her soft, velvet skinned hand around his thumb and walked with him to her house.

When they got to Banana's house it seemed empty, her sisters were at school and the Professor was in his lab in the basement, so she simply walked through her house and onto the back-yard, the house in general was pretty nice, as was the garden with stone decking in-front of the french sliding doors which lead out onto a lush green garden full of flowers and garden chairs and a simple wooden garden dining set with a big BBQ setup nearby, yeah, they had been lucky with their house, but it helped that the Professor got paid a lot for his experiments and ideas, introducing old ones to this dimension, she then just sat on one of the wooden chairs and smiled at Tiberius.

Tiberius smiled at how shy she was he felt really good about the date so far. He walked through the house being very careful not to bump into anything. Once they were outside he breathed a sigh of relief and laid back in the grass asking. "Mind if I change to a different body, it's a bit less human but I can see with it." He waited for her answer and rolled over slightly so he was facing her.

Banana smiled at Tiberius calmly "of course, whatever makes you feel more comfortable" she said happily, wondering what his different body could be.

Tiberius nodded and began breathing deeply as his skeleton began to change color. It started cracking after a few seconds and parts of him emerged from the shell. Tiberius pulled the long snake body with six long taloned arms out and stretched as his body finished swelling to its full massive size. He looked over at her finally with eyes and asked. "So this is me as well. What do you think?"

Banana stared at Tiberius with fear but quickly tried to hide it "y-you look...uhh...interesting...v-very unique indeed" she said, not really knowing what to say 'w-well...for an alien insectoid he looks okay...' she thought.

Tiberius smiled a little and curled up saying. "I can actually feel in this form because I have skin as well as bone." He pointed to his tail and a few other places scattered on him. He looked over at her wondering if her fear was the same as other humans, the fear of a predator.

Banana's fear slowly faded, having a feeling that he wouldn't eat her, and so had no reason to fear "here, now you can feel my hand properly" she said, holding out her hand to him.

TIberius moved closer and ran his tail over her hand saying. "Oh that feels very nice." He slowly moved his tail around her hand and closed his eyes asking. "So would it be too soon to ask if we can do this more? Going out and hanging out I mean."

Banana shook her head "no it wouldn't be too soon" she said with a soft smile "I think we should at least give love a chance...don't you?" she asked happily.

Tiberius raised his head at the word and asked. "I've heard this word many times. What is love?" He slithered over toward her curiousity obvious.
