Desperate Times for a Lost Soul (Open)

A girl wearing a blue jumper and a blue short skirt ran out of a store, a bunch of food in her arms as she ran, the alarms in the shop going off as she ran out of the door "I'm sorry!" she yelled as police sirens were heard in the distance, the girl running away scared, simple fruit and bread items in her arms as she ran bare foot down the street, wincing a little at the harsh concrete on the bottom of her feet "please I don't want any trouble!" she yelled, running as fast as she could down the street, her whole outfit seeming muddy and tattered, even to the point of having pond weed in her hair "I'm just so hungry..." she muttered sadly.

"Stealing food? Really? WHY?" Zach thought, after he had a brief word with the store owner. "Why not steal the money? It's lighter, and you can buy the food with it!"
"Whatever, now's not the time to ponder crazy motives. There the Thief is."
Zach sprinted at hundreds of miles per hour ahead of her, and turned around to face her. "A food thief? That's the best you could pull off? The cops eat you people for breakfast."

Luna screamed as she saw Zach "please I'm just so hungry I'm sorry!" she yelled before running down an alleyway, looking down to her feet and seemingly trying to focus just moving her legs correctly, stumbling a little as she tried to out run Zach.

"Hungry? Go to a soup kitchen!" Zach easily kept pace with her ignoring her "I'm sorry"'s.
He stopped in front of her and held up his hands. "Listen up thief, I used to be a criminal, like you, then I took an arrow to the knee." He joked.
"But, seriously. Give the food back, it won't be nearly as hard on you in trial, or if you give the owner a damn good explanation you might not face charges. Plus, you can always see if you can get a job someplace and BUY food!"

Itazura watched the two from the rooftops above. "Really? Harassing a girl for stealing some food? Don't you have bigger things to worry about?" he called to Zack as he jumped down from the roof, using a small amount of fire to slow his descent.

The girl suddenly stopped "a soup kitchen? What is that?" she asked confused before she sighed and gave the food to Zach "I'm sorry, I'm not a thief...I'm just so hungry...and things have changed a lot from my time" she said apologetically before she looked around at the alleyway that they were in "these walls are made from red stone... sorcery has changed this world very much..." she muttered before noticing Itazura and looking at him quite scared, seeing the fire and started backing out of the alleyway.

"You first!" He pointed to the thief.
"You stay here, and hopefully explain what the hell you mean or else I may be forced to put you in the back of a police car."
"And now you!" he pointed to fire boy,
"It's been a slow day. not exactly some maniac threatening to blow up the city or something like that, unless you decide you want to use those fire powers to make some crazy stuff start happening like say, blowing a gas station, then this is probably the most action I'll get today."

"Blowing up a gas station? What do you take me for, a crazy murderer? I happen to be a rather successful thief, and one who doesn't kill others, thank very much." Itazura replied indignantly. "Anyway, back to the topic at hand, I don't think this girl has much explaining to do. She was hungry, so she stole some food. Nobody was hurt, except that shopkeeper who lost a bit of money, but I doubt that will have a huge impact on his business. So, must a big deal really be made about this?"

The girl saw that the two other humans seemed to be arguing and so took this as her chance to escape, taking a gulp from her water bottle as she breathed heavily, running towards Central Park, trying to keep her feet co-ordinated.

Zach quickly thought over which he should be more burdened with. Fire boy who claimed he was an experienced thief, or a random girl who stole some food...
"Meh. I'm not up for being a roast turkey, but this is a more high-level target." Zach thought, as he prepared to launch his sonic blasts.
"Listen flamey, ol' buddy ol' pal, I think she does have explaining to do. She randomly spouted something about weird sorcery which, as you may have guessed I'm not too big on. And yes, yes I do know she is getting away. But by saying you're a thief, you've placed a big target on your head to be brought in. So, shall this be the simple way where you come down here and be escorted to a police car, or a long dragged out fight?"

Itazura listened quietly as the boy talked, letting him finish before speaking up himself. "First off, flamey, buddy, and pal are not three words you may call me by. Secondly, everybody has their own secrets. She has hers, I have mine, and you have yours, so I suggest you refrain from delving into other's secrets and keeping yours to yourself." Itazura paused to catch his breath before going on. "Finally, I propose a third solution to our problem here." He continued, attempting to make eye contact with perhaps his soon-to-be opponent. "First, I use my other power, you forget you ever saw me, and finally, I leave." Itazura replied, activating his hypnotic power. He then launched a blast of fire from each hand to fly up to the roof of the building next to them, where he would wait to see if his power had affected the boy.

The girl turned and watched the two as she ran, slowing down as Zach seemed to loose interest in her, sitting on a nearby bench and resting, taking another big sip from her water bottle as she slowly calmed her breathing.

Once Flamey-Buddy-Pal-Friendo said "use my other power" Zach had the sense to jump backwards. Lucky for him due to the nature of flame-boy's power it didn't work as there wasn't a direct line of sight(OOC: I think I got that right...)
Zach shouted up "Allright, let's dance." Zach sprinted up the side of the building and narrowed his eyes at the boy. "Let's go, friend-o." Zach said with a grin.
He sprinted around the fire boy, at speeds topping seven-hundred miles per hour, creating a vortex.
"He shouldn't be able to get oxygen at this speed-" Zach thought "and thereby, neither should his fire!"

(OOC: Yup, that's about right)

Itazura frowned as the kid jumped back, although he didn't have much time to be disappointed as his opponent sprinted up to him and created a vortex around him. Crap...This kid's smart. Can't generate fire without oxygen. So... Itazura pulled out a Rubik's cube from his coat pocket and chucked it at a lower point of the vortex, attempting to disrupt the speedster's path while holding his breath due to the lack of oxygen.

Luna suddenly turned around when she heard the vortex and people gasp and run away from it "m-maybe I should help...he did try defending me after-all..." she muttered before sighing and nodding, hurrying back and staring at the scene, running up as her hair started flying around wildly from the vortex "s-stop you two! Please!" she yelled.
