A Mentor Wanted (Ixen)

Tim was on his feet suddenly one of his metal rods in hand and he bowed to her saying. "Good luck, I've been in many life or death fights. I will only use this rod to block with." Tim rose again and leapt back twenty feet in a single jump he raised the rod into a defensive position similar to a fencer.

Tim waited for her to move, he watched her body for the clue of when she would move, he'd then focus on her eyes to see where she was aiming. He wasn't going to go easy on her besides the not hitting back.

her eyes dart around the room from time to time but not because she was thinking of a strategy but it was many because she was sorta having problems focusing on staring at Tim because of her A.D.D. As her eyes dart around she thought of how she would do her first attack. Her eyes would then meet his as she held her staff behind her as she runs at him. She then would twirl the staff again and pop out the scythe blades and once she would meet up with him shed try to upper cut him with one side of staff with the blade.

Tim watched every movement, he swung his rod up to stop the blade as he kicked at the other end of the staff with his right foot to cause it to spin farther forward and throw the staff alone or both of them above and past him. he didn't use his full strength for fear of injuring her. He was fully prepared for anything she threw at him, she was confident in her weapons meaning she probably didn't have any of these magic abilities. So there shouldn't be anything too surprising.

Akow shifts her hand placements to the other side of the staff that wasn't used to attack him and brakes the staff into two parts as the side she attacked with gets hit away then makes the blade on it shift into its sword style and turns 360 degrees and would aim a attack with the blade aiming for his bicep.

Tim leapt up and flipped over her landing directly behind her. He had his rod ready to block the swing that would no doubt follow him. She wasn't bad but she had no subtlety it wouldn't be bad to show her the difference in their strength it may even help her want to learn.

Akow pause when her attack failed sticking i the same position for almost 2 mins which would mean akow acidentaly zoned out again but to her he two mins would only seem like 2 seconds. Akow then turned around and would kick him right in between the legs.

Tim used the rod to block the metal in position to hit her shin. He said calmly "you have five minutes left to hit me." Tim had yet to put forth real effort in his eyes she was barely moving due to his modifications. Tim wanted to fight back because she was attacking him, he was afraid hed break her bones though.

when her shin was hit she paused her eyes watering up a bit and then she grabs her shin with both hands hopping up and down yelling ow until she heard what her said and put her foot to the floor looking shocked.

"NOWAY IT CAN ONLY BE 5 MINUTES LEFT I SHOULD STILL HAVE 7!!"

Paige groans.

"what ever I'll still hit you!"

Paige said running past Tim and over to the other side of her staff. She reattaches them together and collapsing both sides ad runs back over to Tim. She then would attack him with one side of the colaped staff knowing he'd block and would then rotate the staff around and would then expand the staff out to hit him in the chest as the one side sprung out.

Tim slammed his rod into the ground and used it to throw himself straight up. He caught one of the rafters with his feet and Hung there four feet above her head he held the rod out defensiely and said " you got distracted look at the clock.

akow looked over at the clock and face palms.

"AWWW MAN I ZONED OUT AGAIN!"

Akow then looks back to Tim narrowing her eyes collapsing her staff the hitting it to the ground having her hand on the very top of it expanding it back out shooting herself about 5ish feet in the air and tries to hit Tim with her foot before she loses balance and falls.

Tim leaned back using his legs to move out af range by a few inches. Tim watched her asking seriously "are you trying to put me to sleep?" He reached up and flipped himself right side up hanging from one hand.

Akow falls on her butt and gets in rubbing it squinting on eye in pain glaring at him with the other.

"Hey I may suck but you don't have to make fun of me I haven't done anything athletic in my life before up until now just be glad I'm at least this good cause I could be a lot worse!"

Akow said picking up her staff spinning it around her body taking one step forward turning 360 degrees while taking a second step forward and aiming a hit to the side with the staff.

Tim said seriously "I was raised by a warlock from the middle ages, when I was seven he had me fighting him with real swords just so he could hurt me. By 8 I was his equal in combat and... Well that's not important I lost most of my power." Tim grabbed hold of her staff as he fell gripping it tight so she wouldn't be able to use any moving parts inside. He twisted his wrist sharply to attempt to disarm her.

The staff was taken from her as she glared t him.

"I was raised in a parallel dimension where heroes only existed in comic books and people die every day for dumb ass reasons like getting mugged or trying to do the right thing, where mostly everyone has given up all hope because they have nothing to believe in! by age 2 my original father was in the army and killed by a drunk driver. My second father was divorced by my mother and stopped talking to me not to long after that at age 15. At age 16 My mother was remarried and everything seemed perfect but I saw a girl be dragged into an alley way and I deiced to go help her.... I was failed and was forced to watch as some cult killed her and opened a portal where demon hands and arms killed all of them and took me here... that was yesterday.... I'm not pulling the sympathy card and I don't want you to give me any sympathy I just want to let you know that I will NEVER GIVE UP!"

She yells as she runs at him and tries to punch him in the face.

Tim spun around behind her as though he'd seen her in slow motion and said seriously."I'm not trying to give sympathy I'm telling you how I got to be this strong there are gaps that not giving up can't close." He was facing her and was still holding the staff in one hand."I felt your potential that's why your here, if you won't give up show me by getting strong I'm here to help, that's why I'm not fighting back. Help me help you and realize you need to be faster than a human. You need to be super human I process everything four times as fast as it happens I see each second as for each half second as one, I can dodge bullets 90% of the time and even then they will only hit my limbs."
