Plot

So, to sum up:

We have Wade Wilson, empowered by what remains of Trigon, leading a robot army to take over/destroy the city, or eliminate the Teen Titans.

In the porcess, Wade drains Emblem and/or Grim, who, powerless, ends up in jail. It's up the to players, good or bad, to stop Wade.

The aspect of 'taking sides' can go several ways

First, you have the stalwart heroes who will do whatever they can to stop Wade, but doing it as by the book as they can. This leads to character development in the sense that the players can begin to question 'what justice really is' and, if they find it difficult to stop Wade, finding themselves loosing their confidence.

then you have the bad guys, siding with Wade to fuflfil his plan. This can either be out of genuine loyalty, or an attempt at backstabbing the powered up villain and taking the power for their own.

Then there's the third side, the heroes who are willing to do whatever it takes to win. They may choose to take extreme measures in order to deal justice to the enemy, but in their haste, may cause them to go too far, giving way for a 'what have we done' phase.

I do like it, and of course, the plot can go in any direction it possibly can.

Just a question though. What happens, say, if the heroes lose? If they retreat until another day, or they are subsequently defeated (permanently or otherwise). Will a bigger force, like the Justice League, step in, or will the city be lost?

As to the idea of this plot... I like it. Since Hankan is pretty much an insane zealot who leads like minded people to wipe out all taint of demonic corruption to the point that he is considered a villain, this would be the prefect time to launch attacks against all sides.

Well, if a bigger force has to come in, I would say the JL would intervene. But if their too busy or something, the FF, Grim's army buddies in space can come in... Or both forces.
I would like it if the Heroes just retreat and wait for another day.

Also, Grim won't be too powerless, he's a super-soldier, so he is capable of breaking out, (Depending on the jail system/lock) but probably won't since its not that smart. Plus Emmy knows about Grim's past, or at least parts of it. Grimmy is gonna' wanna know what Emmy knows.


Also, can I think up the designs for Wade's Robot Army? =D
Well, not Grim or any of my characters. I personally think we need a robot army that is able to take a lot of punishment from supers, and deal punishment to supers. Because we all know Slade's robot army, they sucked, all they could do was mass-die, or slow the Titans down.

sounds reasonable. I would say that the Academy of Nol would jump in, but that depends on Wade's use of magic (if they believe that he's upsetting the balance and risking destruction of the world) and whether Paladin survives long enough to escape and ask for help. If Paladin perishes and/or the Academy believe Wade isn't upsetting the balance, odds are, they will not take any notice.

Plot didn't start. =P

I reckon there is going to be a revival of the STORYLINES thread, where every big story can unfold itself like episodes from the series. Oldies know what I mean.

The storylines thread allows you to think up a story, and allow others in it to play roles you either set out or let them improvise something.

That's to be implemented again soon. There, every good story I heard up here can have it's rightful place.

I approve of, and would happily impliment myself into one, two, or a thousand storylines =D

I have a few plots I'd like to toss around, but it'd be a little different of a speed than what's canon of the Titans, or what I've seen common in this forum. A bit more MA, in that I tend to make pretty violent scenarios. If anybody would be into that sorta thing (doesn't have to be forum canon), gimme a word.

As per participating in storylines, I'm always game if you need War, or maybe a few NPCs.

I will happily jump into a storyline if there is a need for more participants XD

Okay guys, I've discussed it over with Grim, and I've decided you guys need more terror in this fine city. Not concentrated terror (we have plenty of that and in good supply), but a blanket of villainy. I'd like to begin a series of threads that orchestrate random gang violence. There IS plot behind this violence, but it will be up to the Titans to dig it up.

I think I'll start with a few acts of random violence and villainy, here and there in a few areas. The Titans need to stretch their legs, and what better way than to go beat up some goons? It'll start off simple, but I assure you, the challenges will become harder and harder as you progress closer and closer to the source.

What the Titans will be able to deduce from simple observation of the gang is:

The gang PRIMARILY does not display colors or any type of flag to deduce membership.

They are numerically themed, the first criminals to be introduced will be claiming the name of N9nes.

And that's all the hints I'm giving right off the box. The first threads will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, and the more plot-centric threads, RPers will have to get the okay from me to participate in. If you're a competent roleplayer, this should be simple as pie to do.

ALSO, if you want to put in your two cents to add structure to the gang(s), you certainly may approach me for a shot at a spot of power. Once you get this, you're more than welcome to start your own threads, and cause as much violence as your heart can handle.

Another idea of mine, is that if nobody comes to intervene with these threads (I'll give it ... say 2 days of waiting time), the crime will succeed, and the Titans will have lost that round. Because as we all know, the POLICE certainly aren't gonna do squat to stop them. ;D

Also, if you guys are down for this, I might see about creating a separate account to handle the management, and so people don't get confused between my current character, and the villains that I will be playing.

I like the idea but, since they are numerically themed, are you wanting my character to have something to do with it...his name is Thr33 you know...
