| Nix looked hack to her little ship, she had a feeling that the woods wasn't the best place for it. Though it would have to do for now. Her ship wasn't exactly flight worthy after two crashes. Not to mention the missing door. She would probably be fixing it up for a while. She inwardly sighed inlaid that supplies would he scarce on such a backwater planet. At least it was a bit off the trail and no one else seemed to be looking for it.
"Yep, I did." she said, taking out her sonic screwdriver. She pointed it at the phone and turned it on for a moment, then returned it to...well...herself. "you should be able to call me now, no matter what." she decided to leave it at that. She could have given it the ability to call anywhere, time. Sonicscrewdrivers were tricky little ancient things. They had a particularly extensive past with time travelers. Who used them to upgrade objects when they got far from home. But she didn't want to seem to pushy about making her technological superiority known so, keepignit toned down seemed like a good idea.

| Sam watched as Nix pulled out that...thing... she had been pointing at him earlier. He had no idea what it was, and didn't think Nix'd even be able to explain what it was to him. He had a feeling it was just way beyond human technology and anything he could understand. It WASN'T a weapon, though, that he understood.
He took it back from her, a look of awe in his fac as she said that. Really? That much JUST by waving the glowing thing at it. He was right, that thing must be way beyond his scope of undrstanding. It reminded him of a quote he heard by a science fiction author: Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
"Whoa, wait, really? Thanks!....I'm not gonna bother asking how you did it, since it'll probablly just go WAY over my head, but thank you anyways. Now I don't need to worry about how to get on contact with you."
Sam put the super-upgraded phone in his pocket and smiled at Nix...He was pretty sure they were done here, but he wasnt sure how to say to say good bye. He rubbed the back up his head as he tried to think.
"So.....Uh..."
Apparently nothing came to mind....

| Nix fought the urge to explain the upgrade even as he told her not to. It was so, there. It was odd to come from where the screwdriver was just a trinket to a place where t was probably one of the more complicated pieces of technology in the solar system. She looked at the found as he talked* shifting forward and back from toes to heel.
She then decided they might as well say good bye. There was no reason to stand here all night. It was to cold for that. "feel free to call me anytime, for fun or if you're in trouble. I'm tougher than I look you know" she said with a wink. She was stronger than your average human so she bet she could help him if she ever needed to. [colo=white]"until later then~"[/color] she said, her voice trailing off as she turned and walked back to her ship. A good nights sleep was in order for her.

| Sam nodded as she walked off, waving as she left. As he lost sight of her, he stuck his phone in his pocket with a sigh. He turned around himself and climbed back on his bike, putting his helmet on.
Today had been...interesting.
But such was life in Jump City...
((And yeah, that should be it. Done!))
