Evening Officers

After hitting Victor with her web-bullet she had nearly reached the van when suddenly a force would slow her arrival. Upon closer inspection Spider-Girl could see it was Nikoli!

"It's him, the guy who's seen my face before. So that's what this was all about, springing him from jail well not on my wat---OOF!!"

Suddenly he would be thrown aside as the large hulking man from before re-joined the fight and hit the girl with a stone clad boot. However, this kick didn't knock the impervious teenager to the gorund below. No, instead Spidey used her wall-sticking abiltiy to cling onto his foot to the point where he'd have to shake really hard or physical peel her off. Meanwhile, being on the van now at the end of his raised boot Liz coudl see everything. Using her other free hand that wasn't holding onto Viktor's foot to fire a barrage of web-balls at everyone else in the vacinity. The thwiping sound being the only notice to those inside that the fast little projectiles were coming they're way. She was running out of web-fluid now, but she couldn't stop now. There were too many convicts in this vehicle to let them get away.

A close look at the one of the three cop cars and you would see the small figure of Whoop-Ant on top of one of them. He would tap on the roof of the car pointing at the van that was ahead to confirm that that was the escape vehicle the crooks got away in. Whoop-Ant would watch as Viktor would lift Spider-Girl up above his head ready to throw her in Ajay's direction. Whoop-Ant would get prepared to catch Spider-Girl as he bent over to tell the cop driving.

"Keep her steady!"

Whoop-Ant would yell out to the cop as he looked forward getting prepared for the toss and catch, if Viktor was able to pull it off.

As Viktor took a rather large step and planted Spidey onto the bottom of the van he pointed the barrel of a gun at her head. Boy she had gotten herself into a pickle this time and it wasn't looking too good. Luckily, the van was then shook as Steel City police actually arrive on scene for once, one of them attempting a pit maneuver. Which could be expected this time since these guys had just raided their HQ. Viktor seeming annoyed by this fact even more decided to try and kill two birds of with one Spider...Girl, and lifted up the web-slinger over his head so he could lunge her at the incoming cruisers.

"I don't suppose talking about this is no longer an option *gulp*!"

Viktor obviously not one for witty banter or any type of humor really then threw Liz towards one of the cop cars with the intent of splattering her like a bug all over the windshield. Spider-Girl would usually land on her feet in these situations to, but thanks to her gun shot wound going SPLAT might be exactly what happens here!

"Here she comes!!"

Whoop-Ant would yell out as Spider-Girl would come flying in their direction. The cop would be a bit evasive and turn left a bit so Spider-Girl would not hit the windshield and be crushed. Whoop-Ant would walk over to the right side of the roof as he stuck his hand out to catch her. Spider-Girl would come flying back in his direction, but Whoop-Ant would be able to grab her and pull her onto the roof of the cop car thanks to his super strength. He would look at her and give her a thumbs up as in asking if she was okay.

"I think we're even in saving each other's butts."

Whoop-Ant would now look at what was ahead of them. The two cop cars were on both sides of the van, boxing it in. The one that Whoop-Ant and Spider-Girl were on was gaining on the van from behind.

Spider-Girl would pant thinking that was a close call and then agreeing with Whoop-Ant.

"So Even."

Then suddenly bullet fire would hail down upon the two from Viktor and Liz would be forced to dodge and weave using her Spider-Senses. Shoving Whoop-Ant out of the way when bullets would get to clsoe to him, which Lizandra was perfectly capable of doing thanks to her superior reflexes and senses slowing time down enough for her to react quickly to gun fire. Meanwhile, The cruisers on the side suddenly veered off and crashed. Liz guessed that was due to her little friend behind the giant trigger happy bruiser. Who eventually realized he couldn't hit them so he started to take out his frustrations on the car. Completely tearing up the hood of the car and slowing it down before taking out a new firearm and going to work on the tires. Liz knew she had to act fast and in a hurry. Her grappling hook was dragging on the ground in front of them still attached to the rear end of the van so that was out unless she wanted more road burn on her already melted sneakers and her web-shooters were nearly depleted. Then she got a crazy idea...

"I'm gonna toss you, but watch out there's a guy on there that can fling you around with a flick of his wrist and the one shooting is as strong as you and I."

That being said, Spider-Girl pulled out two more web-net capsules form her bag and threw them at the back of the van. Upon imapct they would open up and spread out instantly like a jack in the box. Hoepfully covering and distracting the brothers long enough for Liz to get Ayjay on board. After tossing them she grabbed Whoop-Ant by the arm with a tight grip.

"Ready!?"

Ajay would give Liz a WTF look as she proposed her idea to him. Her first thought was the fact that she had to be crazy right now. As she went on to describe how dangerous the two men, Viktor and Nikoli, were it made him even doubt this plan even more. It would be too late for Whoop-Ant to give any kind of word against this crazy plan as Spider-Girl already had her hand wrapped around his arm with a tight grip. Ajay would do the sign of the cross as he would then look at Spider-Girl.

"Just do it now before I change my mind!"

He would say as he closed his eyes.

"Don't worry I'll be right behind ya...Hopefully."

At that Spider-Girl began to spin around on her uninjured leg and did so again and again and again going in circles and gaining momentum as Whoop-Ant was whirled around the air before letting go of the boy and sending him flying into the back of the van. Which by now the web capsules she threw earlier would've given them just enough time to get Ajay on board before the two brothers could react. Now Lizandra needed to figure out how to get on that vehicle and help out her friend, hopefully he could hold out for a little bit until she thought of something.

The webbing would go flying out of the van, just a second before Whoop-Ant was on his way into the van. Whoop-Ant had his eyes open now as he yelled out. He had both his fists stuck out ready to try and punch Nikoli and Viktor. Whoop-Ant was literally flying through the air as he would be very close to entering the van through the back. If he didn't hit, Whoop-Ant was ready to make an evasive roll to the other side of the van.

"How did I get stuck doing this again...?"

Whoop-Ant would dangle in the air as Viktor had him in his clutched by his neck. Whoop-Ant would try to use his super strength to get out of it, but his grip was stronger. Whoop-Ant would grit his teeth, as the grip that Viktor had on him was tight, especially for Whoop-Ant's frail neck. Whoop-ant was not able to reach for anything except for Viktor's arm with his hands. Whoop-Ant would get an idea and would try and see if it would work. He would wind his leg back and then go for a kick, right under the arm pit of the arm that Viktor had stuck out, holding Ajay. Maybe this would make him let go, or just make him a bit more angrier. Who knew? It was worth a try anyway.

As Ajay soared across the busy street and into the back of said getaway van Liz began looking for a way to get over there herself. Still spinning on one leg from the momentum she had used to lunge the boy she would see the car pulling farther and farther away, but luckily her grappling hook was still pretty near. Not close enough to grab mind you, but maybe if she used her last bit of remaining web-fluid she could reach it.

"Worth a shot..."

Shooting her last bit of web-fluid at the tether her aim couldn't be off by even a fraction of a bit or the line might break and she didn't get another shot if she missed. Using her web-fluid as a type of spray (new feature) the spray caught the end of the grapple and slowly but surely hardened into a rope, which she was then able to yank on and attach to the front of her breaking down vehicle. In a way tieing the cars together and constructing a makeshift trapeze wire for her to walk across on.

"Wow, I can't believe that worked. Don't worry Whoop, I'm coming."

With that in mind Spider-Girl began to make her way across the web-wire. Having to use all of her balancing ability to get across without falling; especially with an injured leg. While doing so she stuck her arms out at both sides full eagle trying to make her way across as quick as possible.
