To Hell and Back (HB)

Toji listens,kissing her forehead gently."O-ok..." He bites his lip,beginning to change his mind,and reaches out,only to blink as she teleports.Dang it...Ok, let's find Bow,then he can take them both.The boy blurs off, searching for his sister.

About 40 minutes had passed and Toji was able to locate Bow and take her to the coroner's office. As he got back to the tower where he expected to find Gluttony, he would soon learn that she hadn't made it there yet. On his journey to find her, he would discover she had only made it 500 feet from where they were. The girl was in an alley, leaning up against the wall and breathing heavily. There was a puddle of blood around her and her eyes were barely open enough for her to see. She looked over at Toji and smiled weakly. "D-did... did you find her?" As soon as he answered, the girl nodded and passed out, relieved that he had found her.

Toji runs around, searching for Bow. Entering a alleyway,he sees a small mound."What..." The boy walks over to it, then lets out a gasp."No...nononono..."He falls to his knees,gently shaking Bow's shoulder."C'mon...getupgetupgetup...You...Y-you gotta get up..." His jaw clenches,eyes welling up."Please..I'm sorry.Sorrysorrysorry...I'm here now,ok? Please..." Shoulders shake, and tears pour as he picks her up,sparks coursing around him,though none touched Bow."Aag..Aaah...... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!"A huge bolt of electricity shot into the sky,coursing from Toji's body, the pain and rage too much to hold back.Thankfully,Bow's body remained undamaged, the electricity simply flowing around her.The lightning dies down, and he sits, just sobbing.After awhile, the boy regains enough control to take her to the morgue.

Heading to the tower, he finds out Glut hadn't arrived,and runs back to the city at full speed,finding her not that far from where they had seperated."Oh no..." At her question, he nods,gently scooping her up as she passes out,and heads back to the tower, taking her straight to the medical room so one of the pods could get to work on healing her.

Gluttony was out for about an hour before finally waking up in the medical center of the tower. When her eyes opened, she immediately started to look around for Toji, knowing he would be right there waiting for her. She smiled up to him weakly and reached for his hand, knowing it would be there for her. "H-hi there... I-I'm glad you f-found her... When I get a little better... W-we'll start... We'll start planning... h-her..." The girl couldn't finish her statement. It was too painful to even think about. Her mind was swirling in thoughts of Bow, which just caused her blood pressure and heart rate to sky rocket. If she didn't calm down soon, she'd pass out again.

Toji sits there, staring down at her,rocking slightly, tense as lightning crackles around him. As she opens her eyes,the boy relaxes, gently taking the hand that reaches out, a sad,sad smile tilting up one side of his mouth."Hi to you too." At the reminder he nods,closing his eyes shut in pain, though he glances at her,same eyes widening. Oh crud!!!"Yeah, we'll take care of it!But,just relax for now, ok love?" He leans to gently kiss her forehead, rubbing the back of her hand reassuringly.

Gluttony blushed and nodded, closing her eyes to focus on her breathing. As she relaxed, the girl opened her eyes once more and smiled up at him weakly. "Th-thank you for being here for me, Toji... Y-you're the best boyfriend ever..." She coughed gently and smiled adoringly up at him.

(I'm sorry for the delay. It's been a bit hard lately to post here.)

The boy relaxes,sighing in relief as she calms down,and smiles slightly back."No problem,love.You're the best girlfreind after all. I....I'm just glad you're gonna be ok." Toji bends down,giving her cheek a gentle kiss,eyes clenching shut in pain. At least...at least he hadn't failed her too.
