Painting the Town Green! [Open]

A green haired young woman hopped off one of those big metal boxes with wheels. She vaguely remembered someone calling it a bus, so she got off the bus. Morpha took a moment to take in the sights around her, having to look up at the tall buildings around her. This was completely different from what she was used to, which consisted mostly of tents. Someone bumping into her brought her out of her musings before she finally wandered off.

Her friends had made sure to try and prepare her for the big city. They covered the basic stuff, like looking both ways before crossing the street, don't talk to strangers (which confused her), and other things they thought was important. Morpha explored in the mean time, doing some people watching when she felt her stomach rumble. That meant she was hungry right? Yes. She didn't remember when she had something to eat since getting on the bus.

So like that cereal commercial, she followed her nose! This eventually led her to a hot dog vendor infront of the bank. She watched as the people in front of her ordered tubes of meat on a bun that she recognized as hot dogs. Morpha didn't recognize some of the ingredients though. Then it dawned on her that they were giving the vendor green paper for these hot dogs. She had some of this green paper!

"What can I get ya?" the vendor asked her cheerfully.

"Oh, um... a hot dog with... this, and that," Morpha replied, pointing to a couple squeeze bottles of ketchup and mustard. She had seen these colors on hot dogs alot.

"Not a problem," the vendor smiled, fixing Morpha's hotdog. When she paid, the vendor was briefly confused by the amount. "Here you go," the vendor said giving Mo her hotdog, and also some of the money back. She over payed too much then he was comfortable with.

Mo was confused by this but simply nodded. "Thank you!" she said as she wandered into the Bank. Bare in mind she couldn't read so anything that would identify it as a bank was totally lost on her. It was quiet inside, and there were people standing in line with people standing behind glass. What a strange place this was! She decided this would be a good place to eat her hot dog in peace, and so found a comfortable chair to sit in.

"Alright everyone on the ground!" yelled a man wearing something over his face. Other men were with him, and apparently this scared the other people in the building since someone screamed in terror. He then aimed something he was holding up toward the ceiling, prompting Mo to cover her ears as it made an ear splitting noise. It was so loud that she had dropped her poor hotdog!

Little did Mo realize, that this was a bank robbery. All she knew that whatever was going on, it was scaring people, and the men were being mean.

Morpha was in the same boat as Jason... minus the desire to use powers to save the day and all. Actually, Mo was just plain confused by what was going on. Everyone else seemed to be laying on the floor as instructed, and eventually one of the men came her way. "You too girl!" he said pulling her out of the chair.

"Ow! Let go of Mo!" Mo said struggling as she was dragged to where the others were. She was on the ground now, not much else to do right now while she tried to figure out what was going on exactly. She was also hesitant about revealing herself. Morpha just got to town, it would be sad for her to scare people already on her first day. Maybe if she cooperated, she could avoid having to do anything drastic. But she didn't like how these men seemed to be scaring everyone else.

The men meanwhile, proceeded with robbing the bank. A couple watching the now hostages while the rest went into the back, shots were heard, probably a shoot out with the guards. Mo didn't like this.

Morpha had been still debating whether or not to take action, noticing someone moving out of the corner of her eye. It was a boy she had passed when she first came inside. What was he doing? Morpha soon found out when one of the robbers was blasted by... something that trapped him. The other robber was briefly stunned for a moment, but shook his head to regain his composure as he lifted his gun.

Either on reflex, or simply tired of doing nothing, Mo pulled her arm back and snapped it like a whip. Morphing the arm into a tentacle that she used to disarm the startled robber. Before he knew what was going on exactly, she clocked him over the head with it. Enveloping the gun with the tentacle, she quickly broke it down and absorbed it.

Now she was involved, no sense in staying on the floor now. But the fact she had helped out felt wonderful. "Hi!" Mo greeted Jason, there she went again; talking to strangers. It didn't take long for one of the other robbers to come back to check on things, quickly noticing that two of his friends were down, and now there were two people standing up.

"%#!@! We got capes!" the robber called back to the others, firing shots off at Jason while retreating into the back.

That ended badly... for the robbers, or atleast the ones that didn't get away. The others had escaped in their getaway car, who would most likely be hunted down by the police later so it wasn't a total loss. Not to mention the robbers that didn't make it could be made to talk. So yay justice! Not that Mo had an idea of any of these facts mind you.

"Did Mo and glasses guy do good?" Mo asked curiously, slight apprehension in her voice due to revealing her own unique little abilities. She wouldn't worry about it too much though. If she had to, Mo could just change her appearance and go on about her business. "Yes, safe!" Mo added after Jason said it first.
