Bow wishes to start, so here we go.

For all characters: Your character is a human in the 1940's. They are abducted by the military to take part in a mission into another world. They are trained specifically for this purpose, and the departure date has finally arrived. The general gives you 150$ for equipment (Yes, they aren't giving you any freebies). Keep in mind there is a military store, and a science division. Pretty much ask me for something and I'll point you to it if it's available.

After your characters buy their wanted equipment, you will go into the tube that leads to the other world.

Bow and Kyte: Kyte rubs his money together in his military uniform.

Funny how they make us go on this mission, and then don't even give us free equipment, isn't it?

He smiled at Bow, before going to the military equipment stand. He got a longsword and a handgun. They charged him fifty dollars. He then bought some kevlar armor, strapping it on, and had fifty dollars left. He decided to go to the science division. He asked if they had anything that could heal him.

"Actually, we have been working on some healing vials. We'll give you one for twenty dollars."

I only have fifty left. Could I have three, since I'm doing research for you?

The scientists agreed, and gave him three vials for his remaining fifty dollars. Kyte went back to Bow, waiting on her.

Annie counts hers one more time before thinking about how much things might be, almost missing Kyte's question altogether. "Yeah... But it is nice that they give us money so we can buy what we like!" She smiled brightly at him before going to the science division.

She walked in and looked around, quickly becoming confused by their labeling system. She decided to go up to the cashier instead. "Excuse me sir, do you by chance have any pills to help people sleep? Or even make someone fall asleep?"

The scientist looked at her curiously.

"Well...no...but we have sleeping gas canisters. They cost 30$ each."

Annie thought for a moment.

"That seems reasonable, and I know you need the money, but you will have a lot of other customers today that probably won't want this as a top priority... May I please purchase two for the price of $50?"

The scientist thought for a moment, before shrugging.

"A five dollar discount seems reasonable to me. Here you go."

He then took her fifty dollars and gave her two sleeping gas canisters.

Yuri groaned as he walked in saying with a Russian accent and not bothering to be quiet. "You don't have to abduct me. I work, you pay simple." He looked around where he'd been dropped with his 150 and walked straight for the military store. He sighed as his favorite rifle was now gone approaching the counter he looked around and said. "I will buy rifle and good scope, throw in combat knife and armor. I have money." Yuri waited something he was very used to in his line of work.

The sergeant looked at Yuri, before nodding.

"Rifle's 50$, scope included. The knife will be 20$, and the good, old-fashioned kevlar will be 50$."

Uhm.

Simon scratched the back of his head, looking at the money given to him. He was still completely unaware as to why he was chosen for this "mission." He was what, some guy who knew about computers? How could that possibly be useful wherever it was they were going?

Regardless, he had to get himself something, otherwise he knew he would likely die. Quite quickly, given his luck. As such, he went to the military outfitter.

Seeing the Russian, but not making eye contact (the man was loud and somewhat frightening; then again, most men are), Simon walked up to a man who looked like he knew military equipment in and out. He also looked like he actually worked there.

Uhm. Well. You probably know more about this than I do. But. Uhm. When Simon gets nervous, he speaks in very short sentences; buying weapons he did not know how to use from a man who certainly did was one of these nerve-exciting moments. I have 150 dollars. And. Uhm. I need stuff that'll, uhm, you know, keep me alive. So, like, protection would be nice. I'm okay with rifles. I'd like a rifle. And. Uhm. D'you have binoculars? A pair of those would be, uhm, great.

After a moment's thought of little league baseball, I added And. Uhm. With what money I have left over. How many grenades could I afford?

The sergeant raised an eyebrow.

"Spit it out already, kid! Kevlar will be 50$, a rifle will be another 50$, and binocs will be 20$. With all that, you could buy one grenade for 30$."

Yuri slapped the money down saying "It is your money already I was just holding." he then happened to over hear the word grenade, his eye sparkled and he looked at the other man and walked over. He gave Simon a once over and said. "I am Yuri, man hunter. You are new to this work, yes?"

Yuri handed over his remaining 30$ and said grinning. "I will keep you alive, you keep me alive, is good deal yes?" Yuri had tattoos up his forearms like flames.

Simon jumped when the Russian man spoke to him. He could have sworn he felt a slight wetness in his pants, but when he checked, there was nothing there. He attempted to respond to the Russian, who was apparently Yuri, in kind. Uhm. Hi. Yes. I'm, uhm, Simon. Uhm. Computer nerd. And, uh, yes, I can't say I'm experienced in this sort of thing.

Upon receiving the extra thirty dollars, Simon said Oh, thank you and suddenly Russian men were slightly less scary. I turned to the man who was selling me things, and said I'm going to be quite honest, your prices are exorbitant. It's turning away customers. I came here because it was one of the only places to go, but if I had any choice, myself and many others I know would rather go to a Killing Machines R Us down the street.

I leaned on the counter with my elbow and lowered my voice to a whisper. Between you and me, I have a certain head for numbers. I predict that if you lower your prices a bit, people will start to come around, and once everyone's buying from you again, despite the small price drop, your profits will skyrocket. I gave him a knowing look and hand signal.

So here's my suggestion. For starters, let's lower the price of grenades down to 20 bucks. That's only a ten dollar price drop. However, all the grenadiers who come buy will notice, and likely spend more money buying 20 dollar grenades than they would buying 30 dollar grenades, and you'd get your profit. They'd tell their friends, and then they'd start coming here to see the other lower-price items, and pretty soon, you'd practically have no competition whatsoever; everyone would come to you. It all starts with a single step.

I stopped leaning up against the counter. My elbow was starting to hurt. So how about it? Up for a business revolution?

After considering all of this, the man nodded. "Alright. So you want three grenades, then?"

I saluted the man, saying A successful businessman was born today.

I took the grenades and walked out of the store before he could realize that everything I just spouted at him was total bull.

Yuri followed after Simon adjusting the scope on his rifle and asked. "You talk much, you should stay out of torture." Yuri glances around and says. "Not sure you could even make it through thumb screw before you tell secrets." Yuri walked over to the designated location to await further instruction, he pulled his combat knife and flipped it around holding the blade dull side against his hand and tapped the dirt out of his boots.

Deciding to test my new bonds of friendship with this Russian Yuri, once we were out of earshot of everyone, I said to him Hey. If I go back into that shop to steal some stuff, will you cover me? I'll pick you up anything you need.

I had two goals in mind; a few more grenades, and a launcher of said destructive blast makers.
