Helen Jet, that name would go through a web wide search tonight. The badge looked legit, though she really wasn't standard FBI brass. Slowly she pushed her luck, moving his swords out of the way. As she flipped the ID back were it belonged he flicked his sword back along his arms, he had nothing against the federal bureau of investigation, even if something didn't feel right.
What was that about figuring out how she knew him? Wait what..? Black hair, paler skin, a face like that... He never did remember a face on long term, yet her voice finally made the pieces fall together.
"A-Alyss?" he stuttered. She'd vanished from the Grid quite some time ago, just before the team fell apart. Emblem asked him to do a thorough search but he never dug up anything solid. She'd been very abrupt towards him the entire conversation and why would she want to hide for him in the first place. He'd never harm her after the little time they spent together, even if they usually didn't see eye to eye.
"You know, the badge would have been enough in the first place, that name would have even given you my full cooperation." He stepped aside, allowing her passage. "I'll let you off the hook, but this isn't the last you've seen of me."
