The Roof

"yeah, this is the roof." Grim said as they arrived

"damn, its freakin beautiful..." Logar said

"i practically sleep up here, i need to ask Xzuk about getting a room, ill be right back, i need to give a note to someone." Grim said

Logar laughed a bit and said "you in love huh?"

"I hate it when your right." Grim said smiling as he left the roof.

Logar slept up there.

Grim got on the roof finding that Logar had gone to sleep, Grim went to sleep as well.

Kira bounced up the stairs more quietly this time, and eased open the door. Grim and some other guy that looked alot like him, were sleeping. Kira eyes crinkled up as her mouth twitched up into a smile. Silently she padded over to beside Grim. she fished a piece of paper out of her pocket and quickly wrote him a note.

"thank you ever so much for the necklace Grim! it's beautiful! i feel bad though, i dont have anything to give you except this.

By the way, if you want to find me, i've gone for a run in the Gorge. Alyss said it was a good route."

Kira placed the note on Grim's chest then transformed her left hand into a paw, and her right index finger into a claw. deftly she sliced off a small lock of fur. Kira transformed back then reached up and cut off a lock of her hair. she bound the fur with her hair and placed it on top of the note.

Kira grinned and felt a warm glow in her chest as she turned and silently padded back to the stairs and out side.

"search for Alyss" Grim said

"im goin to Kira's" Grim said as he took off his helmet and left

Xzuk had two cartons of yogurt and prepared for awesomeness.

"Target sighted... Fire... One..."

He flicked a spoonful of yogurt at the girl and made pigeon noises.

He missed by about two inches...

"Fire......... Two..."

This one hit her right on the forehead.

"Gah... I love this job."

Four Amp'd and a mountain dew later Xzuk had been firing the yogurt bomb at this girl for over twenty minutes...

"I have the strange urge to play S.E.X. by Nickelback... just to make them both uncomfortable... but.. I won't... Im too nice."

Xzuk laughed as he hit the girl's cleavage.

He was done with this. He needed a run.

"Jeez... I sound like Kira... Ah well... lets play Jesus."

Xzuk smiled as he jumped from the side of the tower and landed by the coast...

New power time...

He focused sound into a solid wave under each of his feet and he began to hover... as soon as he had control he took off at the water running straight for the moon.

Xuk was running as fast as he could with the Tom Petty song 'Runnin Down a dream' in his head...

After about 10 minutes he simply jumped as high as he could... the peak must've been almost 120 feet.

The moon looked beautiful... he felt so close... to Sumi... to Alyss... to his team...

Life was good. Then he started to fall...

Breaking news announcement...

"CANNONBALL!!!!"

He hit the water with a huge splash and smiled.

"FUCK!"

My phones in my pocket....

"Oh well..."

He swam and then let himself sink a bit before going Jesus mode and raising to the surface.

"They'd be done by now... even if they 'd had sex."

Xzuk began running towards the tiny lit up 'T' on the horizon.

Xzuk had gotten within jumping distance of the tower and the second he was close enough, he did.

He was nearly dry by the time he hit the roof.

"Beautiful night."

Xzuk checked to be sure the girl he'd... pigeon-ized was gone before he sat on the ledge to the tower.

It was turning into a beautiful sunrise.

Kira came out to the roof just as the sun came over the horizon. she smiled and bounced over to sit next to Xzuk, her legs swinging happily over the edge.

"hi!" she said simply, to happy to think up a more decent response.

Xzuk turned and smiled.

"Hope I'm not inturrupting"

He winked and turned his attention back to the sunrise.

He was still dripping from his Jesus-jog.

(Jesus jog ! bwahahahaha! )

Kira punched Xzuk playfully on the shoulder.

"nah, Grim's asleep. it's just me for the moment." she said with a smile, breathing in the cool morning air.

He pretended to fall over from the punch.

"Yeah. It is. Haven't been awake this early in quite some time."

He smiled dimly as he watched the sun climb higher into the sky.

"It's nice to see a couple around the tower again. And if you get a chance, grab me one of those rifles. It'd save me so much time chasing down baddies."
