Land Ho!

As he dodged the chair, Liz would land on top of him and while sliding acorss the floor she balanced on Mike Stoke's abdomen like surfboard until he came to a halt.

"Helloooo, Spider GIRL! Not old enough to drink."

As she spoke Stokes would kicker her off, however, as she fell back Liz would do a back-handspring to her feet. Then immediately crouched down to a kneeling position about a yard away while unloading at Mike with a bunch of web-bullets hoping to capture him already and end this this dance.

"Uh, oh!"

Spider-Girl's precognitive danger sense and plain common sense too would tel her to MOVE! As Stokes brandished two firearms from his sides. While continuing to fire at him with her own web-bullets she would run from ricocheting REAL bullets and leaped behind the desk of another cubicle for cover; propping up from time to time to fire back. Although, her web-bullets weren't anything to laugh at, in a fire fight Mike definitely had her beat with actual guns.

"Real smart Liz, lets remind the obvious hitman that he has weapons that he can shoot you with when he was willing to use nunchucks before."

As the flash grenade rolled over towards Spider-Girl her spider-sense would not register it right away due to it the device not being any real threat to her immediate well being. So she had to visually try to move out of the way after seeing it, but was too late and still caught some of the flash as she leaped up. As Liz landed on the wall jutst adjacent the cubicle she was in, she'd pull up her goggles a little rubbing her eyes while trying to get rid of the dots sparkling about in her vision.

"Ok, those things are a lot worse than they seem in video games and TV."

Spider-Girl would stop rubbing her eyes as she heard the clicking noise of Mike's gun just behind her.

"I don't suppose we could take this back a bit, maybe, and instead have a conversation about trying to change the error of your ways?"

As the dart hit Spider-Girl in the back of the neck, she would yank it out and then immediately fall from the wall she was on. Unable to focus her wall-crawling ability, she would lose control of it.

"Ergh, what's going on? He ht me with some kind of strong tranquilizer."

As Liz saw Mike making his escape she would attempt to get up a d follow, but everything was dizzy and blurry causing her to stumble over. Eventually she was able to make it the hole in the wall where they entered in just enough time to get a good view of Stokes driving away, while flipping her the double bird. As he exited police could be seen rushing to the area and were no doubt still blaming Liz for that cop's death. It was a marvel she was even able to stand right now, had it been a normal human...They'd be in a coma. Heck, a Hippo would be taking a nap right about now. Only Spider-Girl's enhanced ammune system and strength was keeping her up right now; and seeing as she was leaning against the opening that wasn't saying much.

"Can't...let them...catch me. Need...To get..Out of here."

As she spoke, Lizandra would shoot her grappling hook about a block away and retract it. Pulling her away from the incident just as the officials had arrived. As she reached the top of the structure she would struggle to climb on top of it then collapsed right there. Out like a light on top of a building in a bad neighborhood. Well, well it would appear Mike Stokes has won round one, but the next time they met Spider-Girl wouldn't underestimate him and she was sure the same thing was running through his mind as she dozed off.
