Move-In Day

Grace Koori knocked on the front door of the Titans East Tower. She had a suitcase, a backpack, and a purse. These bags held all of her possessions. She was wearing her blue skirt and a white t-shirt, along with some new running shoes.

She shifted her feet nervously. This was it. She was moving in. It still might be awkward living under the same roof as Lance, but Grace felt like this was a move in the right direction.

Grace wondered what her new room would be like.

Once Grace knocked, the tower security cameras zoomed in on Grace. Lance was in the living room waiting for her arrival. Once the image of the video feed came up on the big screen of her arrival, he went to downstairs to the front door of the building. Lance ended up walking down a fairly large hallway with a very large door in front. Lance went and pushed a couple of buttons on one of the control panels and then you can hear the loud noise of the door opening. Lance stood there in the middle of the door way and covered his eyes from the sun that was shining in. He waited for the door to completely open so Grace could come in.

The door opened. "Hello Lance. I'm moving in today." Grace held up her suitcase for emphasis.

She walked in the door and looked around. She had been in the tower twice before, but it looked different now. Maybe it was because she was going to live here now. "So...where do I go?"

As Grace walked in, the doors automatically closed behind her.

"Just follow me."

Lance smiled as he started to head towards the steps with Grace behind him. He turned around and looked at her.

"Do you need help bringing your suitcase up?"

"That would be really nice," Grace said. She handed Lance her large suitcase.

"By the way, I got a purse. What do you think?" The purse was plain and black, with a long strap. Her Titans communicator was neatly attatched to it.

Lance grabbed the suitcase and it was pretty heavy, but he was able to bring it up the steps. He then looked at her purse when she brought it to her attention.

"It looks really nice. It really goes with you."

Lance says to her as they reach up to the main ops/living room.

"Well this is the living room right here. You know, this is where we all come together for things and whatever."

Lance said to Grace as he looked in the direction they would then be heading for her room.

"Thanks."

Grace followed Lance through the main ops room. It seemed comfortable enough. She noticed a few out-of place items. "Again, I won't be playing the maid here, so you guys will have to clean up after yourselves." Inside, however, the instincts that she had developed from work were yelling at her to drop everything and throw the empty pop cans away.

"Hahaha, okay don't worry. We'll all be chipping in to help around here."

Lance said as he motioned for her to follow him as he brought her down one of the hallways. About a minutes or two of walking through the hallway, they Lance stops at one of the doors.

"Alright, here it is. This used to be one of the older member's room, but that person isn't here anymore. So now it is passed down to you. And don't worry, we cleaned it up very well."

Lance smiled he pushed a button making the door open and walked in with grace following.

IC: Grace looked around at the plain room. It was larger than her appartment room had been. "This is perfect. Thanks." Grace started wondering how she would decorate her room.

"No problem at all. Now I'll leave you so you can get settled in and all, okay."

Lance turns around about to leave to room, so to give her her privacy and so she can settle in right now. He is at the doorway ready to leave and close the door behind him.
