He would pull out a spicy chicken burger after finding it. "Don't be spreading it around that I can be nice now~" Inferno quipped playfully as he gave her the chicken burger. Him nice? Wasn't the first time he had been called that- by a woman ayway. But he had learned some hindsight of not to mention that- usually sours the mood real quick for reasons he didn't understand. It was just easier for him to be nice to women, was just the way it was with him.

He hadn't really seen a lot of her fighting, but that was one hell of a blaze before he got there. "I can tell ya from personal experience, that you wouldn't have stayed non-violent for long. If not because of that asshole, because of another gang trying to walk all over you," Inferno said somberly, though his old gang had never been non-violent. But they didn't exactly target innocent people either, except for real shitty people usually or the occasional cop. "And if it makes you feel any better, that was one hell of a fire. Besides, bullets are a pain like I said. I usually keep guns from going off at all the same way I can put fires out. But he... still could fire, so if it wasn't you it'd have been me- would've preferred that honestly," Inferno added finding a burger of his own, this was technically his dinner too. "So we're in the same boat- and not because either of us are bad fighters, but because some people have to cheat."

After their meal together ember would explain to him her history before coming to be in this plane of existence. "and that's about it really, Thanks Orion your company was appreciated we should hang out again sometime." Shifting slightly she winced as she settled down to rest. "You can call me Emy if you like Ember is just what my friends called me."

A knock on the door would sound as a nurse informed Orion that Visiting hours are almost up and that they will be returning shortly to check the injury and administer more painkillers.

Inferno would likewise tell her a lot about himself, of his own interesting trials and struggles growing up, and of his time in a gang of his own. Between the two, there were comparisons, common ground and chemistry. He was glad he did this. "So... does that mean I'm more than a friend, Emy?~" Inferno smiled playfully, it had definitely been one reason why he came, but it wasn't the only one; how many people met cute salamander girls from another plane of existence that also used fire like him or liked spicy foods like him? Needless to say there were plety of reasons, and even if she wasn't exotic he'd still stop by out of principle. He frowned slightly at being told visiting hours were over and all that.

"We totally should, I know a few places that's good for blowing off steam- I know the guy that owns one of em. But uh, you gonna be alright after you get out? That was a big fire and all- didn't take out your place did it? Either way, just incase- here's my number, and I guess I'll be seeing you again later~" Inferno actually had what some would call an insightful thought, and pieced together that if the killbot killed her gang friends, and that there was a fire... that her place was probably burned up- probably. Either way, he gave her his number just to be on the safe side.

When Orion asked if he was more of a friend playfully Ember rolled her eyes and smiled. "I guess you'll have to find out when i get out of here big guy." Ember frowned as well at the visiting hours being over but when Orion offered her his contact info she would find a strange feeling shes not used to as her cheeks got warm. "it must be getting hot in here, well yes ill contact you when i get out mabie we can come to a agreement if i don't have somewhere to go later Thank you Orion for everything."

Inferno didn't have thermal vision, but he could definitely see what looked like a slight blush- definitely cute. He could also just feel a slight rise in temperature. "Just hot because we're here~" Inferno chuckled, unable to resist. "And no problem, looking forward to seeing you again though," Inferno waved before squeezing out through the doorway again. He really was looking forward to it, and couldn't help but wonder what they could get up to- besides one obvious thing on his mind. Oh, this meant he'd have to do some housecleaning... more than he'd have to normally if he wanted to be serious about giving her a place to stay- which he was.

A week or two passed uneventfully as Ember jumped threw the many hoops doctors wanted her too in order to make sure she was healthy enough to leave. Low and behold that when she did manage to leave she found that Orion was Right and she would be in need of needing a place to stay luckily a few of her personal items were still intacked. Her sword and armor as well as a stuffed doll. However getting them anywhere would be a hassle, for the sword anyway. Pulling out her phone she gave a old friend of hers a call.

"Hey, you still sleeping at the hospital morgue?" A gravlie voice sighed on the other end before answering. "i was, What's up?" Their was a brief pause before she spoke.
"I need help moving my armor and sword to a new location its a long story and i really don't want to talk about it." sounds of shuffling could be heard on the other end of the call.
"Yeah ill be there shortly Some zero hero had a lot of power to help me recoup so ill stretch before heading over."
"Thanks Wraith!"
"Whatever kid"

After hanging up she would call Orion asking for a place to stay while also informing him that she has someone who would be transporting her weapons as well.

"Ello? Oh, hey Emmy~" Inferno picked up after the second or so ring- he was technically on call, which was codespeak that there wasn't any fires to put out and the chief just wanted him to NOT be using the firehouse as a frathouse. Basically Inferno could goof off on his own time. "So yer place DID burn down? That'd suck if I hadn't offered you a place~" Inferno said in a way that you could practically hear him grinning. He tried not to be too happy about her misfortune, he was just happy with the arrangement is all- plus after all the work he put in actually cleaning up his place and trying to keep it that way, he'd be kinda sore if it hadn't worked out like that. He'd get over it, but stil. Inferno did arch an eyebrow when she mentioned something about weapons. "Alright, let me give ya the directions and I'll meet ya there- I'm actually getting something to eat right now. You want something?" Inferno offered before then giving her the directions to his Midtown place- it was near both The Fire Department, and on the outskirt close to the Downtown area AND slums from The Fire Department- wasn't super fancy either.

Ember would arrive at Orions Home to meet him Hopping out of the passenger side of the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro that Wraith procured by various means. the speakers on the car that were once blasting "turn up the radio" were shutoff as Wraith stepped out to open the trunk retreiving two large duffle bags.
"you kids gonna be alright?"
"we will be fine Wraith, and thanks for helping me out here."
"no problem kiddo call me if you need anything."

Inferno would manage to get back in time when he saw the car pull up, and a familiar face hop out of it. His expression went from a smile to a frown when he saw Wraith- he looked... similar to that Killbot. He just had the look about him that really reminded him, but clearly there was something here here he didn't know about if he was the one helping her out. "Heya Emmy~" Inferno said trying to sound more cheerful. Did... this guy just call him a kid? What did that make HIM? He was briefly distracted by the duffel bags, and wondered what she had actually been bringing with her- hopefully a bazooka from the size of them. "So who're you?" Inferno asked Wraith surprisingly without hostility- only because Emmy was there though.

Wraith Nodded to Orion "Names wraith, Ember brought me up to speed seems you to had a run in with Hades corps project that replaced me. before you ask no I'm not a robot however Im not exactly meant to exist Other than in a grave in Arlington." Ember noticed the frown and added "He looked after me before i met my late friends He is more of a father figure to people like me" Nodding his head "well i wont take much more of yer time Ember, stay safe."

Ember nodded as she went to pick up the bags "Hey Orion? were do you want me to put my sword armor and doll?"

Inferno had actually forgotten the name that Killbot threw out before bailing, and while the fact they came from the same place still annoyed him, he couldn't really stay that way forever. "They sound like assholes," Inferno said bluntly, putting the matter aside before Emmy explained what he had done for her. That made him relax more. He'd feel better when he and Emmy were alone. "A sword huh? Cool. We can decide that later- the bedroom probably unless you wanna hang the sword up on the wall somewhere," Inferno said casually, offering her his keys to take.

Emmy nodded "okay ill go put them there." Taking the keys She headed inside leaving Wraith and Orion outside. Wraith was the first to speak. "Alright Say what you gotta say i can sense somethings eating away at you perhaps doubts about me. but before you do I'm only gonna say this once. Don't hurt Ember I'm being nice as its been a long time since I've seen her happy and she talks fondly of you. I may not be her parents but i still care about that kid so Take good care of, not saying you won't just..." Wraith was at a loss of what to really say atm. so he took a deep breath and leaned against his vehicle. "So i guess this is were you can ask your questions since shes out of earshot."

Inferno enjoyed the view as Ember left- suddenly realizing that he'd never been with someone who had a tail. He didn't dwell on that too long with Wraith around, who caught onto the fact he wasn't too happy with him. Inferno listened to his spiel and midway through he got a text from Ember- which he was surprised with just how fast she had changed out of those clothes. "Hm? Oh- yeah yeah, it's nothing personal. I just don't know you, and you remind me of the guy whose head I wanna rip off- and burn to the ground where ever he came from for hurting her," Orion said seriously, putting his phone away again. "So long as she says yer cool, we won't have any problems," he added simply- sometimes it was good not to think too much about stuff. Was there any questions he wanted to know?

"Guess I do have something ask, since you came from the same place. What's their shit like? How was that other guy able to shoot a gun around me? I can make guns stop working," Inferno asked, feeling like that was probably the best thing to ask at the moment. It was very unlikely they were small enough to where he could if he ever got it into his head, to just go burn their stuff down to the ground. But it also still didn't make sense to him how he fired a gun around him. So he wanted to know roughly what to expect next time.

Wraith sighed, "Riiight you met him, well in short he has more or less the same problem i do we don't belong in this plane of existence see he's technically older than me by a good 2 lifetimes much like ember is from a different plane of existence so am i as well as him however hades corp fucks with the balance by messing with powers they nearly understand think edlrich horrors mixed with technology and you got a pretty good idea what they can make." Taking out a smoke from his jacket he would open the palm of his hand to create a red ball of energy to light the smoke before looking back to inferno.

"My best suggestion stay away from him to my knowledge if Ember survived a run in with him she may be tied to a person from his past either reincarnated or just what he remembers of his time blending with this one. He may say he's talked with people before remembered full on conversations but those people would have no idea who he is because in this plane of existence they never met."

folding his arms over his chest he let the ciggerette hang from his lips as he continued "the only reason I'm aware of this is threw the being that made me is more or less imprisiond in that facility I'm well aware i don't belong in this timeline i died in one long forgotten against a version of him....but to answer your question about the gun" Wraith flicked the ciggerette out of his mouth before answering

"assuming your ability stops the precussion/blasting cap on a bullet from working he probably made that bullet into a railgun with that enhanced shot ability normally its used to make him curve the bullets to trick shot and or hit impossible shots however giving his adeptivness with firearms he probably used the electricity to fire the round since the normal means wount work thereby shooting the projectile with sheer kenetic force which does a lot more damage then if it were just fired normally. my advice carry magnets close to you that way the railgun rounds would veir off course."

Whatever look Inferno had on his face- either from simply not personally liking Wraith as mentioned, or wanting to get back up to Ember for what may have still been waiting for him- it was replaced with confusion. What the hell was he talking about? He kind of got the planes of existence when Ember was brought up and she had mentioned it briefly earlier on at the hospital. He even kind of got the impression that they were basically dealing with "aliens" and tech, standard evil corporation stuff. It did remind him of something else Ember had mentioned to him about how he kept locking up when going against her, and if not for his record he'd think more about that. But Inferno wasn't aware of his connection in the slightest.

He was definitely more interested in learning what the best way to counteract his "railgun" was though. "Right, I'm gonna pretend I understood more than half of that. Magnets you say? I might know a guy that can work with that," Inferno said thoughtfully, making a mental note to see what that old fart was up to these days. "Thanks for that... now if there's nothing else- it's rude to keep a lady waiting," Inferno's one track mind clicked back on track.
