===POWERS===

Powers: Ravian can control, absorb, and discharge electricity. He can absorb and store massive amounts of energy, though the more he has, the more pronounced his weaknesses get. His upper limit is unknown but would probably be a storms worth.((electrical measurements are odd,)) though building that charge would probably take months of not using his powers. He usually only has enough to be comparable to a power plant. He gets his electricity by absorbing ambient static electricity in the area(a few hundred feet)(or electricity in general in some cases such as storms or being near outlets.)

electric discharge:
His main mode of fighting is Mid-to-long range Bolts of electricity that he fires out of his hands or, to a lesser extent, his feet. These bolts can range in power from, a slight shock to completely deadly for even large animals, though the less power he puts into it the less range it has. Anything above a tingling sensation can be extended 20 feet though full power lightning can go for several miles. He can not control how far his bolts go though so in heavily populated environments he can be dangerous to civilians. (although these are long range it would Be next to impossible to hit anything after half a mile, even then it's iffy after 300 feet)

He can attack multiple people at the same time with chain lightning but it depends on how durable they are. He can link normal humans several time but those who have denser skin such as rock can't be linked at all. Though the sudden heat may cause extensive damage and shattering in rock

Ravian can also use chain lightning to levitate several feet above the ground reaching 30 feet at most. He can travel faster (reaching 60 miles per hour) while doing this but it's very noticeable as there is a storm of electricity keeping him up, causing damage and noise. He also can only keep it up for a few minutes. Along with that he can use this a direct weapon, showering an enemy with a storm of electricity, but it will cause him to be knocked backwards roughly and he will, without a doubt lose where his opponent is in the bright flash of light

Discharge: Ravian can let out all of his electricity at once. This is used when he knows he's about to be drenched or is planning on swimming or such soon.

It can be used offensively if someone is holding onto him, they are surrounded by metal/ conductive material (it will jump from the materials making an electric web for a moment) or, most likely, he and his enemy are standing on the same body of water. It's quite powerful and can be deadly to even large animals and some metas' , though it will almost always cause third degree burns and pain. Afterwards he cannot use any offensive electrical attacks, and if forced to use this suddenly (if he is surprised) he will be exhausted

After this he will have no charge, though he will be able to swim and contact water. He will need to either take a charge from something large or have a few days of sleep until he can use any offensive attacks.

Electrical discharge with slight magnetism:

Accuracy shot: This uses both of of his hands meaning the rest of his powers aren't very accessible. But with this he focuses a ball of electricity between his hands, after a moment a straight bolt of electricity will shoot out. It is much more accurate than his usual attacks and about ten times as powerful, luckily it travels in a completely straight line, needs a charge time and isnt easy to use in close combat as if his hands are out too close or too far from each other, it will blow up in his face...literally.

Shield: A large shield that can cover Ravian's body on one side it repels all metals and can burn up and repel many other things.

Sphere: for an instant Ravian can make the the shield into a sphere that quickly expands from a 6 foot radius to a 12 foot radius. Anything within this sphere will be electrocuted and thrown outwards. Though the ground is ,noticeably, next to undamaged with only scorch marks.



Absorption:
He can absorb electricity from extremely direct places such as lightning too. Any electricity based attack won't affect him. This includes but is not limited too tasers, electrical wires and the electric chair can't affect him. He can also drain from across long distances, across streets and rooms causing large arcs to jump out of wires and sockets. Along with this, those who spend a lot of time with him( a day or two at a time) can find themselves feeling tired. He must be within 40 feet of a source to absorb large amounts of electricity but absorbs small amounts from blocks away(small enough that it takes hours to charge enough for a fight.

Crossfire: if someone if standing between Ravian and a source of electricity they can find themselves in trouble, caught in a long chain of electricity, though after about 20 seconds it's likely the wires he's taking the energy from will burn out.

Physical symptoms: Ravian's powers have begun to have unexpected effects causing several phenomena. Which may or may not be related to his:

Wire traveling: Ravian can travel through wires and other metals. However he does need to follow any current already in a wire if there is one. It takes a moment to start and is only used for escape. It can't be used for any offensive means other than maybe moving to a more advantageous position. He can carry one other person with him, but he(not them) sometimes sustains burns when he does.

Strength: Ravian's muscles have been taking constant damage in adapting to stop this damage they've become able to use electricity as a fuel as well as super endurable. He can now lift and throw objects up to 150 pounds. Lift objects up to 300 pounds and tops off at 500 with extreme difficulty. He can run for long periods due to his muscles use of electricity as energy. His punches can cause even the largest of normal humans to be staggered

Endurance: While Ravian's skins still normal his muscles and organs have gained an increased bond due to the extra electrons in Ravian's system. Causing them to be able to take large amounts of damage, and easily survive a fist fight with someone of equal strength to himself. He can also sustain himself on electricity for about two days, if he doesn't use his powers, before exhibiting signs of starvation. he still needs to drink.

Mentality: Ravian's constant over charged state has made new pathways open in his brain. He can think about twice as fast as an average human can, though this is only when he is in a confrontation, he usually thinks at normal speed though, he only thinks quickly when under pressure or when extremely calm (when calm he can use it on purpose) This speed also applies to reflexes. It's drawback? It causes him to act rashly and viciously, often not thinking through his attacks. At some points they may even seem animal like, though they do seem to balance speed and power effectively. 

Fortunately he can also learn things faster, a skill which he has begun making extreme use of, learning as much as he can to learn more about his powers, electricity and magnetism.

Strengths:
Since lightning mainly attacks the nervous system he can hurt enemies that are "invulnerable" to physical attacks.

It's extremely hard to hurt him with electricity or heat and if he has enough charge it can be hard to hurt him with cold. 

His attacks, while seeing rash don't tend to leave large openings, while keeping on the offensive constantly. It's hard to land a hit on him without taking one and he his large energy reserves allow him to keep it up.


Weaknesses:
Well first and most importantly, water, if he is suddenly drenched in a large amount of water, he will short circuit. For him, short circuting is extremely painful and usually causes fainting. In the cases of rain, if gotten wet slowly he simply can't use his powers. If he does, it ends the same as getting wet suddenly.

He is also overconfident and although in battles where he and his enemy are equal this will probably be the deciding factor. With enemies that are more experienced and stronger than him it can be dangerous if he can't runaway.
  
He's slightly claustrophobic. But he has to be trapped in a small space for him to start freaking out.

Though enemies that can absorb electricity will be able to absorb his attacks. People with strong magnetic powers may be able to deflect his attacks. With strong negative charges. The negative side of magnets can repel him while a positive super magnet could drain him of electricity. He also can only absorb electric energy, not electromagnetic. Therefor Emps can knock him out for hours, even days if he is close to the epicenter.

Parkour fighting, his attacks are sudden and simple. He can go into frontflips in an instant, unleashing devastatingly fast heeldrops or spin into back handed punches on a dime.

He has started to spark when feeling emotional, or even when he is absent minded.

Personality:
He loves to talk but is slightly shy around people he has never seen. He loves making people laugh and goes out of his way to do it. He doesn’t care for other people's opinions if they are the opposite of his. He is very argumental and enjoys proving himself right. He also asks a lot questions.
 
In stressful situations he tries to use comedy to lighten the situation by telling jokes. When he is having fun he really opens up to people and starts trusting them with his thoughts. But his way of dealing with any serious problem, whether psychological, emotional, physical, is by not dealing with it and ignoring. When approached about his past he will immediately change the subject. Even if pushed to answer he will probably lie. He doesn't enjoy remembering and does his best to avoid even thinking of home, or any thing before jump.

He is very wary of being tricked and has a quick mind but often over thinks or under thinks things. His biggest flaws are his pride, that he is easily distracted(he has adhd) and that he lies.....a lot. Despite his untrustworthyness he tends to repay debts, feeling guilty and bad in general of he doesn't.

He doesn’t trust people easily. In the rare case that he completely trusts someone he is extremely loyal and will give the person multiple chances if they mess up, though if they mess up in a time of need, he well react badly, possibly violently. If his trust is used against him he counts that person as an enemy for life. With the recent development of his powers affecting how he thinks, he can be increasingly vicious during fights.

===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===

Family: He ran away a few years ago but he has a twin(though not identical) sister that misses him and may follow him.
Place of Origin: Central City
History: Ravian's life was pretty normal until he turned 11 and his powers started showing them self. In the beginning he didn't really notice until one time he tried to go for a swim and fainted. From then on he was always kinda jumpy and eventually started falling behind in his school and coming home late because he was trying to use up all of the electricity he built up in the day.

At age 13 Ravian ran away after almost killing his sister when he got in to an argument with her. At the time he had little to no control over his powers and it just happened. After she woke up at the hospital he had already gone. Afraid of how her, his family and ,well, how everyone would treat and think of him from then on. His family had been well off so he had taken enough money to continue high school for a while at different towns he went to over the next year. After he ran out of money he acted as though his parents were dead as to get into orphanages and therefor keep his education current. This ended in Gotham city when he was trapped by a gang. After a while of...well, being trapped he actually joined the gang as a way to get some money. They staged several extremely well organized bank heist calling Ravian "codename: thunder" and using him if the police had caught up with the escape vehicle.

After a year Ravian had to move on though. The town was too crime infested for his tastes, he had trouble sleeping and didn't feel safe ever. He moved on to Jump city. Crime was still just big enough there that there was a chance he wouldn't noticed....well caught. It's hard not to notice him sometimes. He currently has an apartment he rents and tells the landlord that he gets the money from his parents. Though with how many explosions and problems there's been lately it's driven prices down so he may get a new place soon.

Since then he has seen his share of trouble, gaining even more experience in free running and urban combat. Against any human he is deadly, against Metas he is formidable using several tactics that most people wouldn't use.

After a time in jump he has met a few people, though he is not extremely close to any as of yet. He has however been, recently, a chance to go good, though it is only a matter of time until he gives in to temptation and it will be sooner rather than later.

Sample RP
Ravian smiled as Reverie invited him to sit down. He pulled out a chair and took his seat as Reverie started talking about her summer. But he couldn't help think about who the person she was meeting was. What house they were in and always coming back to who she was. Strangely enough he didn't know very many Fourth year girls, of course Reverie might not be talking about a fourth year, but if she was meeting them they probably knew each other well and, not that it was a bad thing, Ravian wasn't sure Reverie made that many friends outside of her year.

He listened to her stories intently even with his thoughts trying to distract him though and managed to catch that she had played Quidditch over the break. He had never pictured her playing sports very often. She seemed so.....peaceful or maybe orderly. As if she would always be singing or reading in some quiet place.

She also mentioned her sister going to New York. He had been there before it was a pretty exciting place. With the stores that were on the streets and the toys 'r us that  had a Ferris wheel in it. Heck it was impossible not to have at least a little fun in that city. But he hadn't got to go to the top of the Statue of Liberty, though he had gotten to stand below her. It was still quite a sight. Such a massive thing had actually been assembled here but built in France, it was hard to imagine.

"B-But err, 'n-'nuff 'bout me! Wh-What 'bout y'u, R-Ravi'n? Did, Did y'u go 'nywhere, 'r, 'r do 'nyth'ng fun 'r inter'st'ng, 'r--?!"

He had in fact  done something interesting, go to Alaska, he liked it there. In the summer it actually got pretty damn hot. He had been very surprised by the lack of snow and how unafraid the animals there were. Particularly the buffalo, they wouldn't even look at you.

"Um....well I went up through Canada to Alaska....but I was being schooled the whole time so it was less fun than it could've been." he replied to her. He wished his mom didn't insist on him completing high school. He was a wizard now. What could happen?

Err... I dunno ; Kryptonians are invulnerable. I don't think a lightning bolt would effect them. I mean... I've read about a guy who was struck by lightning seven times and survived (in real-life), so I don't really think its that all-powerful to harm a Kryptonian, if a human can potentially survive it.

I can't really understand this one. How an electricity burn a bullet? And to be honest, burning bullets are more deadly. And he's an electromancer, not an electromagneticmancer, so he shouldn't be able to manipulate the magnetic fields. At least I don't think so.

That's flawed logic. Pure water is a bad conducter, hence it SHOULDN'T short-circuit him. You can only be short-circuited if you come into contact with a conductor. The saltier the water, the more he's short-circuited.

Other than that, he's an awesome character. Totally looks like someone who would be in the Teen Titans universe. I love him, so just make those changes and I'll be ready to accept him.

If Superman can take "a blast equivalent to a million nuclear war heads point blank and remained conscious" (DC Wiki quote) I doubt lightning will do anything to him

so i think it makes sense that sustained lightning would keep radiating that magnetic force if it was sustained. But if you disagree just say so and I'll cut it.

If you really wanna deflect bullets you can have the electric field give the bullet and your body like charges, so they repel. But if you wanna have electromagnetism, you have to state electromagnetism as a power in your app.
