Eye lasers: The beams can range from wide angle to very focused, but the ability to make them wider only applies to kinetic beams, radio waves and microwaves.

    Motous: The kinetic beams, he has much more control over these beams, being able to make them bend and twist. He can also make them come out as large bursts of directed sound, increasing their speed to that of sound when it is usually around that of arrows. It can also just act as mostly unidirectional sound. One of his favorite things to do with these beams is to fire three bursts, the first two lasers bend outward then towards the enemy and the last goes as the crow flies. When put together and all making contact at the same time, this move can move 10 tons when at full power and all three make contact (any one burst can hit with 2 tons, only two hitting would have a power of 6 tons) .He can keep these bursts going for several seconds at any one time, allowing him to send heavy objects soaring. When using wide scope and low range his kinetic beams basically become a shield, allowing him to block bullets and repel enemies with extreme effectiveness. Getting leverage against these is extremely hard for anyone who can't fly.

When used for piercing and cutting blocking them is not typically an option for any standard human armor but anything 'unbreakable' cannot be cut at all, leaving only a black mark on it, along with some extraterrestrial metals. Magical shields also may be able to block the bolts. These cannot be held for any time but can penetrate a few inches of granite before dissipating. They can go about 4 inches into steel, usually can go through a brick, a few inches of concrete, through two car doors. They also take a few moments to charge. They are always about two inches across horizontally and nearly flat.


    Lux: electromagnetically based lasers...meaning that they use different kinds of light. These lasers can be any wavelength. The higher wavelengths(radio and below) can be used to easily create extremely strong electromagnetic pulses.This can fry anything in front of him for a few hundred feet, but he usually directs it, which can make his range go for miles. Microwaves do what microwaves normally do,(causing sunburns and intense pain) but they are only effective within 10 meters. These beams can easily be widened to everything in eye-shot, but only have a 10 foot range when doing so. They are usually wide angled and effective for 25 feet.

The lower wavelength(ultraviolet and above) lasers can pass straight through most defenses and cause extreme pain. One of them passing straight through the heart or head would cause a knock out. One going through the shoulder would temporarily disable the arm. The same goes for other limbs. Going through the chest merely winds people, though the pain can stay for days, feeling like broken ribs. The lower wavelength attacks must be actual beams, and can't be widened, though they seem to have a near endless range. When fired in long beams, he can melt through steel after a few moments and after that the speed increases. When fired for long periods against flesh it's effect last longer. These beams are usually a circle of one inch circumference.

Visible light is usually just that, regular light. When widened it can makes things look just like it is day time. When narrowed it becomes much stronger, when it is nothing but a small stream it can burn through things like a regular laser, anything larger and it is no where near as effective though. This falls under the same rules as his other offensive lasers when doing so. Visible light is the only one that he can do multiple wavelengths of. He can do the entire spectrum but this does strain his eyes and isn't particularly useful for anything other than seeing in the dark.

All these travel at lightspeed, fortunately, he can only use them in line of sight and, for a short moment before he uses them a small bright red laser is visible where he is looking. This only lasts a brief moment, but shows exactly where he is about to fire and, for the record, he cannot see through things with X-rays. They follow the same rules as his other beams.

Aim for the stars: Made for space and knocking comets and asteroid out of a given trajectory, he can survive harsh conditions and fly thanks to a certain level of energy projection from all over his body. These powers were all he originally had and are now much messier than they would have been had he not been altered.

Flight: By selectively and actively releasing amounts of energy from parts of his body other than his eyes he can achieve flight, not very graceful flight, but flight!! He can fly at a maximum of 100 miles per hour in atmosphere. His speed increases towards light speed out of atmosphere over the course of several miles. When in an area like a city his standard speed is more that of a car, 40-60 miles per hour, depending on the size of the area he is in.

Enviromental Endurance: He is resistant to the vacuum of space and its radiation or cold. The latter two don't work so well against active attacks though. Fortunately he still has the ability of endurance, endless energy given to him by the same place that his lasers and flight come from. He can fight at a moderate pace for hours and can fly for just as long. He can take heat, but not fire. He can take cold, but not being actively drained of heat.

Observing eye: His connection to the quantum force has given him a certain level of awareness thanks to experimentation. With this ability he can see the powers an weaknesses of any opponent in decent detail. He does not sense phobias, personality traits, or histories however, nor the exact reasons for weaknesses. He also can't  sense anything but superhuman intelligence when it comes to being experts in fields such as martial arts and science and the like.  He needs to hold their sight for a while to see this, after about 10 seconds he'd be finished. After 5 he'd only have one power or weakness though. His eyes glow lightly when using this power, not more than a single candle light though.

Skills:
Athlete's physique: Though not peak human Ravian can lift his own weight above his head and has the physique of a man who regularly does vigorous work outs.

Geometrical Expertise: Ravian has the ability to predict trajectories for simple reactions, like light bouncing off mirrors, with great accuracy. It could be compared to the prediction of professional pool players.

Electromagnetic spectrum knowledge: It's his power, he's learned a lot about light and what it does. He's skilled in using it to the fullest in creative ways such as climbing the wavelength to get through EM shielding and to negate other EM blasts.

Human: Body is human to any direct attack

Line of sight: If he can't see it, he can't shoot it. He can slightly curve his kinetic beams, but they can't even do 45 degree turns and, in the city, there is zero chance of a wide enough turning radius unless he is in a large, open area, even then, his kinetic beams are highly visible and will be noticed unless the enemy is extremely slow or extremely...blind. Not to mention to even make the turn he'd have to take his focus off the opponents hiding spot, so using it to get them from cover is useless. Basically, if its behind a corner, between two buildings, or inside something, he has to hope shooting through it works, or the enemy is just going to sit there for the next 15 seconds with closed eyes. His only saving grace would be his piercing beam, which isn't usually a go to and still would only be guess work.

The dark: He can't let out visible light and his battle effective lasers at the same time and all his lasers have tells that are heightened in the dark. It becomes easier to see kinetic beams and the red laser before firing his light beams is highlighted. Inside buildings, when it is absolutely dark, he also can only fly for a few feet at a time. This only applies to indoors, cut off from all light. Outside at night is not dark enough, even in the middle of nowhere.

His back: Behind him he has no defenses, can't shoot lasers and is only human.

Refraction: His light lasers can be refracted by materials with the ability to do so.

Eyes closed: Force his eyes closed and he can't shoot. Period.

Energy draining If someone is draining his energy he has to switch to kinetic beams or really lay on the electromagnetic. He won't be able to willingly stop it without closing his eyes for a moment, but don't mistake this for thinking he'll run out.

Close Range Combat:Though in good shape, Ravian is not a pro fighter and only has the abilities of anyone else who has been in several street fights.

Switching: To switch from kinetic beams to light based beams takes about half a second where he has to close his eyes, he also has a tendency to look down when doing this.

Light Sustainment: This quickly tires his eyes, giving him rolling headaches, blurry vision and can make him accidentally fire shots. Typically he can sustain light for a second or two, when at very close range(a few feet) this increases dramatically, but typically is only useful for cutting through objects.

Blurry vision: caused by over use of his power or by having dust thrown into his eyes. He can't shoot anything until he burns this away. Trying to will lead to knockout. Via small scale explosion, enough to fling him back a few feet and, if someone is nose to nose with him, knock out an opponent without much durability.

Personality:
Secretive and clever. Ravian usually seems like he knows something that everyone else doesn't. Though he's a friendly enough guy he has a tendency to raise that little bit of worry in the back of everyone's head, usually not enough to confront him about something but enough to exist. Due to this he can seem sneaky and backhanded some of the time. Though he usually doesn't make plans and goes with the flow, thanks to his powers he can seem to have elaborate plans.

When it comes to his powers and past he actually usually is quite withdrawn and secretive about them. He usually ties a winding tail through the truth with lies sprinkled in-between. Despite his distant behavior, he can be prone to excited outbursts and fits of hyper active energy when introduced to new things, especially new, good, tastes. He has an intense love of food an wishes to learn how to cook well, though he's only average at best when it comes down to it.

Ravian is a particularly fast learner but tends to remember small details more than large ones. Due to this he can seem very forgetful and, in certain situations, air-headed. When in combat this changes however. When doing what he was forged for he is becomes very excited and enjoys battle even when he is hurt, though he won't ever push to start a fight directly he sometimes will accidentally drive a situation that way with sarcasm and witty remarks.

He has a tendency to say witty remarks at the absolute worst times and places. His lack of social interaction has made him absolutely horrible at sensing cultural and social norms. He may make jokes at in appropriate times or do things that shouldn't be done instead of suppressing emotions. When it comes to direct disrespect he can be very standoffish if it's a small offense and large offense can lead to immediate retribution in the form of extreme sunburn or other things, depending. His favorite way to get back at people is in ways that can't be traced back to him but still be suspected to be him.

When first meeting people Ravian, other than his seemingly secretive nature, can seem awkward with wording and speech patterns, this is because he is made nervous by social interaction in public, especially when talking to groups. In private this isn't quite as bad but unless spoken to he typically still won't speak. This is in stark contrast to when he is doing something he enjoys, mainly combat. When doing something fun that relates to him he can become very talkative and animated.

History: Ravian was born with a connection to another place. A quantum zone where he could access all kinds of energy in near infinite amounts at a time. It didn't show right away but as it developed it became extremely obvious. Kids at the school would suddenly gain sunburns in winter in elementary school. In middle school certain teachers cars would suddenly have melted tires and fried wiring. All these people had one thing in common, they weren't good for him. They gave him bad grades, bullied him, or generally opposed him.

His parents caught on to the coincidences when he was still in elementary school. In the house things were weird thanks to both the children, but Ravian's effects on the house were more visible. There were burn marks shaped like hands, footsteps high up on the wall and electronics would turn on at random intervals, sometimes they'd burst into flames without even being plugged in! The two parents quickly became a bit fearful of the boy and what powers he had. They researched, but to no avail...for them. Their frantic research drew the eye of others. These others were looking for something just like him, just in that area. Recently rising radiation levels in the area weren't helping, they definitely didn't help his parents who suddenly died of radiation poisoning one night. Ravian and his sister were unscathed, though she did have some minor bruises.

No one would hear from them again. They had been snatched up by a very interesting program. They didn't mistreat the kids very much, but did run experiments on the both of them. Ravian got the most of it because he seemed the most useful. It was theorized that by limiting his energy control to be more specific, they could speed up the progress of his power's manifestations and make them more controllable at the downside fof decreasing his over all battle effectiveness, but he wasn't actually made for battle, that was just a precaution. His true purpose was simply shooting down old asteroids and satellites, nothing  glamorous.

It was a long and hard process to limit his energy  projection, it required the narrowing and closing of many tears in dimensional fabric. It also cost a great deal and injured quite a few people. Though he never did kill any of the scientists, he kept injuring them more severely as time went on due to the lack of control over his energy projection he had. Radiation poisoning become very common when in his room, though his sister could hang around him with little to no side effects, any normal human would fall victim to bleeding skin in hours. Finally though, he was ready. He even took down a few satellites, only at the age of 13

Then the vanishing happened, suddenly he could have a greater purpose. With so few large scale meta-humans left in the world he could categorize all the small scale ones, give them a catalog of who did and didn't have powers, what those powers were, maybe even more. That's when he, and his sister, were re-purposed for fighting and combat. It was a simple process, his proficiency in eyesight based combat made the small odd on of him seeing powers and weaknesses more than easy for the group that now called themselves the Meta-human Information Acquisition Association(M.I.A.A.) for short. The changes they made to him were rushed, minimal, but effective. They finished in less than a year.

They sent him out as soon as he reached 14. They sent him to Jump City with the purpose of collecting as much of the entering meta's information as possible while maintaining the appearance of being benevolent. He has stayed under wraps for the longest time, but now that the titans are showing up again he decided now would be a good time to make his move. His target is to join the titans now, he hasn't had actual contact with M.I.A.A in more than a year. Joining the titans not only signifies that he is successful but, to him, signifies that he's actually being useful to the city and the world.
