A familiar face (Dar) (MG)

Jemmy rubbed the tears out of her eyes. She was real. Rain was still real. Jemmy's search had not been in vain.

Keeping up with current events did not sound like an easy task, but Jemmy would try. She would do everything she could to find Rain.

"You said she's a diplomat. Who does she represent? Where is she from?" Jemmy was something like a diplomat herself. She represented Chaos. But she had no memories of Rain being involved in the government or anything like that.

"I'll go there and ask around for her."

Clearly the girl wasn't lying about how desperate she was to find Rain Bow. She had actually been crying. Dr Black couldn't relate, his family was just as useless as everyone else he knew. But that wasn't of any concern. The girl asked him what the woman is a representative of. The answer alluded Dr Black, so he quickly put the news footage back on and showed the girl There. There was no reason for him to go to effort for her problems, he didn't really care.

When the girl said she'd go there and ask for her, Dr Black stepped forward If you need any more help, you can contact me with this number He gave her a card with his number on it, but he doubted she knew how to use a phone. Rather, he wanted her to remember that favour she had promised.

Jemmy took the card and nodded. "Thanks." It wasn't right for Meta to be a prisoner to this man. Jemmy knew that she had to free Meta from the Master's control. If there was one time to act as a Lord of Chaos, this was it.

"But I don't need any help from a dead man."

Jemmy held out her hand, and a crackling black orb formed in it, growing larger and larger. After 5 seconds, it was 5 feet across. It was Destruction. If this hit the Master, there wouldn't be anything left of him. "If you wanted to play god, you should have become one first."

Jemmy let the orb fly out of her hand, tearing through the air as it went right for the Master.

(OOC: Sorry, I've been really busy and lacking in motivation recently)

The whole time this conversation had been going on, Meta was standing in the corner, watching. During the conversation, he had just been keeping an eye on Jemmy's body, watching for any movements that might suggest she may attack. However, it seemed that this girl was not one for subtlety, since she threatened him to his face and started to charge up some kind of attack. Based on her demonstration from other, if this hit the master he would be killed in an instant.

Dr Black started to take steps backwards in panic, screaming his lungs out as the orb flew. Meta dove in low, completely out of nowhere at the last second and tackled his master to the ground to avoid his painful demise. Meta didn't rest, turning into steel and shoving his masters deck with his enhanced strength so that it would fly at Jemmy.

He then used the single second that his tactic would have bought to get in close and would throw a punch to her chest that would completely ruin the body of a fully grown man, let alone the underdeveloped body of a girl like Jemmy.

Meta saved the Master. The orb of Destruction crashed into the wall behind them and devoured it, leaving a massive hole where matter had simply been uncreated.

Jemmy had forgotten how fast the shapeshifter was. Hmm. This could be problematic. She hadn't considered the prospect of fighting against Meta. Honestly, she was really hoping that last attack would have killed the Master.

Meta threw a desk at Jemmy. As the desk approached her, however, it crackled with black lightning and dissipated into dust, leaving Jemmy unhurt. However, Jemmy hadn't expected Meta to also throw himself at her. As soon as the desk disappeared, she found his fist heading for her face.

"Holy bananas!" Jemmy flew out of the way, narrowly avoiding the large fist. That had been way too close. Jemmy didn't have time to launch a counter attack. All she could do now was watch Meta and react to what he did.

Remember, he's fast. Don't be caught off guard again.

"I really don't want to do this, Meta. Don't make me hurt you."

The girl managed to avoid Meta's attack, very suddenly flying to the side. However, instead of counterattacking she chose to just watch him. She was likely planning to counter whatever attack he had next. He could spend all of his time planning, but he didn't really have any time for that. Meta ran in as fast as he could, throwing furniture wouldn't work anymore so he just charged in and kept his hand raised, ready to counter one of her energy attacks You shouldn't have made me hurt you.

He would then go for a rather simple tactic, trying to ram right into her while changing into steel. It may be simple brute force, but with his powers it was effective.

He was rushing at her again. Jemmy could take a lot of punishment, but even she had no desire to get hit by Meta. She had already dodged to the side, and this time Meta seemed ready to adjust to her if she did that again. She needed to do something else.

She went down, seemingly through the floor, though upon inspection, one would notice a hole had appeared in the floor. It was big enough for little Jemmy to fit through, but certainly not the hulking Meta.

Jemmy was now in some sort of sub-basement with cement walls and lots of dark blue crates. Jemmy formed an orb of Destruction that was only 1 foot in diameter, and then threw it through her ceiling, trying to catch Meta unaware.

Meta charged at Jemmy with his full speed, leaning forward with his full weight. It would take a mighty foe to get hit by that charge and survive. Clearly Jemmy realised that, because her instinct was to instead get out of the way by going down through the floor. Upon closer inspection, it seemed that she hadn't just phased through, instead she had made a hole and gone through it.

If she could do that so quickly that Meta had not noticed, then it stood to reason that she could fire another attack like that. Sure enough, as Meta dove to the side, an orb came out of the ground where he was standing before. Meta took a second to see how his master's evacuation was going, pleased to see that he was getting into an elevator, soon he would be safe. Meta wasn't going to leave just yet though, he had to remove this threat. For now he waited, constantly on the move so that Jemmy wouldn't know where he is. The only way she could hit him is by complete luck and chance.

The lack of a scream told Jemmy that the orb had missed Meta. She felt relief and frustration at the same time. She didn't want to hurt Meta, but he was in her way. He was preventing her from helping him. He just didn't know it.

Wait, what was that noise? Something was moving. An elevator. The Master was escaping. Jemmy bit her lip. She couldn't take the Master out while fighting Meta. But maybe she wouldn't have to. If she could figure out where the master was going, then maybe she could find him and take him out without involving Meta at all.

The worst situation would be if he ran away. If he left the facility, then Jemmy may never see him again. She was certainly not a detective, and the Master was smart enough to remain hidden. If he decided to hide, however, she could always find a way inside whatever bunker he could have built.

A portal opened beside Jemmy. It cracked like lightning as the air attacked it. As Jemmy flew through it, she found herself above the entire complex, floating 200 feet in the air. From here, she should be able to see the Master if he tried to leave by car, plane, train, or bicycle.

She waited to see if he was actually running away, or if he was trying to hide himself somewhere.

Metamorphi waited for a solid minute, but nothing happened. There were no orbs of pure energy tearing through floors and ceilings, just silence. Metamorphi ran down to the floor below and searched all over for Jemmy, but it appeared that she was gone. She wasn't exactly a stealth expert, so there's no way she was hiding from him.

At that moment, Meta heard the voice of one of his master's bodyguards in his earpiece, telling him to get down to the bottom floor, where they were taking the master into an escape vehicle. Meta nodded Alright. Leave without me if I'm not there in two minutes

One minute and fifty five seconds later, Meta arrived in front of the escape car. He quickly got in and they took off. They entered a secret tunnel that carried on for a mile to the west, eventually coming out into a back alley, from where they went on to the main road, hoping to blend in. From Jemmy's high vantage point, she may have spotted them coming out if she was observant enough.

Jemmy floated in the sky, watching and waiting. It was quiet. Was this really worth doing? Sure, she was friends with Meta once, kinda. But this Meta might be a completely different person. Such things happened when you travelled the timelines.

She saw a light appear at a distance. The Master was getting away. Jemmy sighed before opening a portal, teleporting herself to the car and throwing a destruction orb at it about 2 feet across.

For a few tense moments, everyone in the car leading the master to safety waited to see if Jemmy would appear. It was almost a relief when she did appear, otherwise they would have been holding their breaths the entire ride. Except for Metamorphi, who didn't seem to show any fear. Nor did he show any emotion, just a straight face.

Almost a relief being the operative word. It was then downgraded to not being a relief at all when she threw one of those weird orbs at the car. In the drivers panic, he hit the breaks, causing the car to go out of control as it was hit by the orb. As the car crashed, Jemmy might have reason to believe that the residents of the car would have perished, but suddenly Metamorphi dove out of the car with his master in his arms.

Metamorphi turned back to his master Get off the road and run. Doctor Black didn't need to be told twice, running for it as soon as it was safe to do so. Metamorphi turned to Jemmy, ignoring the cars that beeped at him as they swerved around him, focusing only on Jemmy and waiting for her to make a move.

Up here in the sky, Jemmy was beyond Meta's reach, unless he could fly. Jemmy didn't think he could fly, so she focused on the Master. She made an orb 5 feet across. It took 5 seconds, but Jemmy wanted to make sure this attack ended this evil man. She threw the giant ball of destruction at the fleeing master.

As the master ran, it became apparent that standing off would do no good, since Jemmy floated in the air with no interest in a full on fight. Instead, as Jemmy aimed an orb at the master, Meta placed his faith in the few bodyguards that had gotten out of the car safely and picked up a gun from either the unconscious figure or the corpse of the driver. The orb almost hit the master, but one of the bodyguards rammed into him from the side, knocking him out of the way. This came at the cost of the orb hitting the bodyguard. The master turned back to look at what little was left of his saviour and scoffed Be less rough, fool, this suit is expensive

While this went on, Meta pointed upwards, towards Jemmy, and started firing.

The master's bodyguard sacrificed himself to save the evil man. Worse, the master wasn't even grateful. Such a monster needed to die.

Bullets ricocheted against Jemmy's protective barrier. Meta was shooting her. A tear ran down Jemmy's cheek. Meta was doing everything he could to kill her. What dark magic was at play here that could twist a man's mind so violently? If she killed the master, would Meta even get his free will back?

"Stop it, Metamorphi! Why are you letting him control you? You have your own mind, your own heart. Think for yourself! In the name of Chaos, I beg you to save yourself."
