The little halfling and the girl(Red)

Titus watches,brows furrowed, at the fight, and starts his way over, gesturing.Balls of barrier magic form, rushing at the evil magician, and the boy wizard continues firing them at Corgi, eyes narrowing under the concealing form of his hat. He really didn't want to hurt anybody...but it seemed he might need to...This man's magic...It felt...bad.

rose drops corgi as she rubs her snout. corgi drops like a rock and then disappears. rose looks around for him but feels his magic disappearing as well she lets out a sigh of relief, but then she realizes that he left a reply to Titus's message. "you may have won the battle but you will never win the war" it said in glowing red letters in the air.

Titus blinks as the evil magician disappears, crouching down warily and glancing around, his staff at the ready. As he feels the foul magic begin to leak away, the boy wizard sighs in releif, relaxing, only for his eyes to widen at the message.Oh no...

Rose closes her eyes as she changes back to her human form but notices the ground rushing at her. she reaches out to stop her fall but sees her hand bleeding profusly. the sword that corgi dropped is in front of her and she notices pieces of the blade are spiked out one of the spikes is missing its tip she looks down at her hand and passes out. the spike that was missing was in the cut of her hand and draining her of her energy. "toji" she mumbles before she passes out.

Titus's eyes widen as Rose falls,passing out,and he rushes over,pulling the spike out and beginning to do his best to magically treat the wounds. He glances over at a nearby soldier. "T-there's medical herbs,ointments,and bandages in the kitchen, please g-get them."

Meanwhile,throughout the whole battle, Toji had been hidden away in the house and inside a room with a stout door. He sat on the floor,lightning crackling around him and brows furrowed in worry.He wished he was big enough to fight too. Soon after the battle, the child sneaked his way to the front door,peeking out.

rose mumbles toji's name again and her hand reaches out in search for him. She whimpers when she cant feel him. her cut starts to ooze out black stuff along with her blood, but it refuses to heal up like her wounds usually do. she lets out a pained cry and starts to go into shock. toji she thinks

Titus bites his lip nervously,brows furrowed as he searched through the medicines brought with one hand, the other glowing with a soft green light and held over Rose's own hand.Hearing Rose's cry, Toji blurs over, beginning to tear up in worry. "Mama Rose!!"

rose hears toji and mumbles about his electric shocks. "hand...electric shock...it cleanses" she says hoping that he would understand. she found out a while ago that his blue electric shocks can purify the wounds she got from the demon steel blades.

Toji blinks, brows furrowing. He didn't want to shock and hurt her...Ala laid his hand on the younger boy's shoulder, nodding reassuringly. Nodding back, the halfling focused, and electricity ran down from his arms as small hands grasp onto Rose's wounded one, the lightning pulsing into the wound.

Rose hisses in pain but then sighs softly in relief as the pain goes away. "Toji thank......you" she says as she takes his hand in her wounded one. She gently pulled him into her arms and falls asleep holding him tightly to her

Toji winces at the hiss, but smiles at the releived sigh. Nodding the boy grinned wide."You're welcome, Mama Rose!" Blinking as he's pulled into a hug, the boy fidgets slightly, but soon falls alseep himself. Titus glances at them, then plops down beside them, watching over them and drifting off as the soldiers and knights take care of any other wounded.

After the fight is done and the wounded taken care of Rose and toji are laying inside and resting. Rose asks Titus if he would join them on their journey.

Titus had changed out of his 'Wizard Oakheart' disguise, and was calmly reading through a book,robed legs curled up beneath him. At the question,his green eyes widen. "J-j-join you?! You..you mean that?!" He smiles, surprised and happy,but bites his lip, eyes glancing through a nearby wall. If it hadn't been in his way, he'd be staring right at a modest,but well cared for grave. What would his master say...Would it be ok for him to leave the cottage alone?

Rose noticed the grave earlier. "Your Master? What happened to him?" Rose asks softly. She holds toji in her arms still and strokes his blue hair gently.

Toji snuggled up to her, for intents and purposes still asleep. At Rose's question,Titus glanced at her, gently setting the book down, a sad, sad smile drifting across the boy's face."He...g-got too old,and his m-magic couldn't support his body anymore...I-I put him to r-rest, and...I've c-carried on the Oakheart l-legacy eversince." He had to admit, having so many guests made him realize even more how...lonely...it'd been.
