The little halfling and the girl(Red)

Armor clanked as the grey,menacing knights hurry towards the forest, their horses galloping. "Hurry, our Lord wants the Bluemane back!!! We can't let that little demon escape, or the King will bring his fury down upon him, and by extension, us!!!"" Yes, yes, Gabriel!!!Just quit making speeches!!!" There's grim laughter, and then they focus on the job at hand.But, as they approach the edge, lightning crackles out of the trees, glowing golden eyes peeking out from a trees branches.The knights try getting past, but curse."We'll have to get the mage....C'mon!!!!" They leave, giving the mysterious tree dweller threatening looks.

The trees sway in the evening breeze and animals graze quietly in the clearing but the piece and quiet is disturbed by a young girl running through the clearing and the animals dart away for the nearest hiding place. the young girl pants as she runs in fear. the sounds of horses hooves hitting the ground close behind her. she looks back and shouts out as a black dagger hits her shoulder. she trips and stumbles but gets back up and with an extra burst of speed runs ahead of them. she sees more men on horses up ahead but also sees blue lightning being shot at their feet to stop them. she dashes in that direction and is hit with another dagger. this time it hits her leg and she falls as she screams out in pain. Laughter is heard behind her as she tries to scramble to her feet but is to weak to stand. the sound of feet hitting the ground she turns to see a man dressed in armor with a cape and helmet to match, walks towards her. "looks like you won't be going anywhere now girl. tie her up and let get her to the palace before the king grows inpatient." the man says as two men come up next to him. she whimpers in pain and fear for she knows what the king wants her to for and she does not want to be his personal weapon. she tries to stand but falls again as the men come towards her.

As the grey knights, ahem, make a tactical retreat, gold eyes examine the new scene, and narrow.....As the fools close in, a blur rapidly approaches, landing with a thud and kicking up dirt in front of them.Upon closer inspection, it would be....the smashed remnants of an apple?!?! More blurs shoot out from the trees, kicking up dirt all around them. One scrapes past the shoulder armor of Mr. Cape, bending it back as the fruity projectile slams into the ground behind him. Strangely enough, none got near the girl herself.

the girl watches in amazement and fear as dirt sprays up around her she lets out a shriek but notices that it doesn't hit her or harm her she looks around for what is the source but then starts to crawl toward the tree flinching as another dirt spray nearly hits her. she manages to get behind the tree and finds some roots to hide under she squirms under the roots and then hides until the sound of retreating hooves are no longer heard.

As the thugs are driven away and the girl crawls beneath roots, a growling voice speaks out as electricity crackles through the leaves."Do you intend harm on me?" The only thing visible was a apple bouncing up and down from the shadows warningly, though there was the sound of metal clinking.But, if she listened close, she'd detect fear, and also that the voice was very,very young.

she shakes with fear and pain "n-no please don't hurt me.........please .......i ....can't....need hel-"she starts to say but is getting weaker and weaker by the second not long after she starts whimpering in pain again as she crawls out of the roots and the falls again this time unconscious as the blood trickles down her arm and the side of her leg. the daggers sticking out at odd angles in her body draining her of her strength and magic. "help.... me" is the last words she mumbles before passing out.

The figure blinks. Huh?!?! As she falls unconscious a small,shadowy form drops down, landing lightly beside her. There's ripping sounds,as if he were tearing at his clothes, and then the daggers are removed, rich, well decorated rags wrapped around the wounds. A glance at the fort just barely visible, then she's picked up, moved deeper into the woods.....When she wakes up, she would see a figure,hiding in the shadow of a tree and looking at her."Ye w-wont hurt me? P-pro'ise?" Now having dropped the growl, it sounded nervous, and so young. The voice also had a odd accent, Scottish mixed with something else.

Rose feels the daggers being removed and her body starts its healing proccess quick and fast. not long after she wakes up and finds herself in a completely different spot then she remembered. she hears a child like voice and she turns to see a figure in the shadow of a tree. she tries to sit up but winces in pain. "if i promise not to hurt you...will you promise not to hurt me?" she whispers

The figure seems to tilt it's head, then comes out out of the shadows. He was a small, 6yr old child, wearing strange, elaborate robes(aka a kimono), though while they were bueatifully decorated they were also dirty and ragged. Broken chains, connected to the manacles circling his wrists, trailed, clanking, behind him. As spiky, blue hair waggled in the breeze, eyes examined her warily."I....I pro'ise."

"oh ....oh you poor thing come let me help you get those ugly chains off of you. i promise i will not harm you in anyway at all" she motion for the boy to come to her as she sees the sorry state he is in.

The boy tilted his head. She did sound nice...He steps over to her carefully, tripping slightly on the tattered hem of his robes.Standing before her, he warily holds his arms out, frowning slightly as electricity crackled through his hair.

Rose lifts her hands up slowly as she managed to use a small bit of air to unlock the cuffs and they fall to the ground. She then takes the boys hands and heals his wounds. after that she fixes the boys robe by ripping the tattered pieces off of the bottom she then pulls the boy into her arms and holds him. "there now isn't that better?" she asks him

The little boy blinks as the manacles falloff, then his hands are grabbed. He stiffens, tensing in readiness, but tilts his head as he starts to feel better. Watching as she rips the tattered peices off he hums happily as hes grabbed up and held. Nuzzling into her shirt and wrapping hiscarms around her, the boy nods."Yes mem....Thank ye."

"awww do not worry about it young one it is the least i can do for such a brave boy that saved my life not only once but twice in one night. What may i ask is your name young one?" Rose says with a small smile as she hugs the boy in her arms.

He beams as she falls him brave, grinning up at her. Humming happily as she nhugs him back, he answers her question."Toji Oakeyme, mem!!!" Toji tilts his head curiously."Mem, whats yours?"
