Patience is a Virtue (Gluttony, Bloo)

Gluttony listened to both of her brothers, but could barely concentrate. The longer they were in this congested hallway filled with blood, the more she couldn't think straight. The girl shook her head to try and wake up, and smiled sweetly up to them, crimson rings around her eyes as the bloodlust began to set in. "I say we go straight to the source of our problems and attack them head on!! That's the best way to solve any problem, right?? Let's go!! I bet I could take them all with a hand tied behind my back!!" She giggled and bounced up and down. She looked down at her hands and couldn't help herself, licking off some of the blood. Delicious.

Greed gave his siblings a tired look, but didn't fight it. He could go to the bar alone, but then if this really was a trap and they went after him he could be in for some trouble. Combat was not his forte. "I guess that brings that vote together. Let's go kill something, or whatever."

He hoped they didn't expect him to give directions. If they did, they'd probably end up at a rather filthy pub.

Gluttony skipped along with her two brothers down the street. As she looked around at the vacancy, she was honestly happy to not see any innocent bystanders. She could feel herself fading and didn't want to cause any harm to any who didn't actually deserve it. The girl continued to lick her fingers of the blood that stained them, the rings around her irises becoming thicker with each taste.

When they approached the cathedral, Kyte asked them both a question. The girl nodded and bounced up and down. "I do! I do! Holy relics are yucky yucky! They hurt me even when I can't be touched!! It's dumb." The girl pouted for only a moment before giggling. "But don't worry about me, big brother!! Ain't no one gonna touch me!!"

Greed was glad to see that his siblings were confident in their ability to take down the soldiers. Greed himself seemed more interested in an abandoned wallet that seemed to be left to the wayward when the streets were being cleared. He'd have to remember to get that. Wrath asked about Greed's weaknesses, and he shrugged. "I don't do so hot against holy weapons. I'll leave the front lines to you. If ya need some support from a range, just holler. You know you can trust me."

Greed added the last line mostly to make them uneasy. Many words described the Sin, but trustworthy was not one of them. That being said, he planned on keeping his word. He drew his guns and stood at a fair range from the church, letting his siblings take point. "Good luck kids. Don't get killed, aye?"

Gluttony listened to Greed talk about helping them out from a distance and smiled, she honestly felt no uneasiness when he said to trust him. No matter how many times any of her siblings hurt her, Gluttony would always find room in her heart to trust them again.

Then Wrath spoke directly to her and she looked up at him, nodding as it got serious. "Yes sir!" She followed on his heels, ready for some action even though the girl didn't even have a weapon. All she had were her fists... And the fact that she could swallow them up whole if she really needed to. Though, the fact that they were going up against knights of the church made her wary of that option.

As her big brother sliced through the air, Gluttony watched the ground and saw as he created a crater in the middle of the formation, sending quite a few of their troups flying. She smirked and licked her lips, not able to wait any longer as she charged in. The girl made quick work of them, one after another. Flying and flipping in acrobatic grace. However, the girl was getting sloppy as more blood was shed. It wouldn't be long before she slipped up.

Greed watched the fight start with some interest. His siblings were excellent fighters, but he had to give the edge to Wrath. That strength was just too much for the foolish knights to handle. Gluttony was agile and efficient, but the more she killed the less composed she seemed. That wasn't good. Letting out a sigh, he aimed his gun. "How do these guys get by without me..?"

As Glut started to slip, Greed covered for her. Anyone foolish enough to get too close to her without her noticing would quickly drop, Greed's accuracy was pretty impressive.

As the fight got more intense, Greed started heading in closer as he drew his other gun. He never thought he'd be needing to provide cover fire for any of his siblings, but with one gun covering Wrath and the other helping Glut he provided as much support as he could. "These guys owe me a drink after this..."

Gluttony was thankful for Greed's bullets, feeling herself losing control, but she couldn't stop now! When she saw the new army come forth, she blinked, pausing in her steps. They were wearing gold armor? "That's just tacky!!" The girl busted out laughing, not realizing the danger she was about to be in. If it weren't for her big brother shoving her onto the ground, the girl would have very likely have been sliced in half. Her eyes went wide and she bit her lip. "Woah. Now's not the time to mess around."

She jumped back up and smirked, her eyes beginning to glow cyan blue. The girl had definitely been practicing, and it showed as she teleported directly behind a large portion of the ranks. She wasted no time in carving through the first one's back, simply touching him and absorbing a hole right out of his chest. The girl grinned from the feeling it brought her and licked her lips. She began to teleport away from attacks and crash down on them, making heads simply disappear and cracking necks.

The girl cackled as she started to have fun again, forgetting all about the danger she was really in. One swing from a blade could end her fight right here and now. A few of them had already scratched her, but the adrenaline pumping through her veins right now made it difficult to notice even the worse of them. She continued to fight, not caring about how many scars she earned, as long as she killed them... all.

The fight seemed to get more dangerous pretty quickly when the Calvary came in. Golden Paladins swinging magical holy weapons. Bad news. The weapons even took away his range advantage. Gluttony would have to make due without his support, as there were three soldiers heading his way quickly. He shot, one dropping as the bullet went right into his visor and through his head. "Annoying pests..."

He grumbled, and in response they shot another white arc at him. He jumped as high as he could, the holy painful attack narrowly missing him. He landed rather awkwardly, stumbling for a moment as they closed the distance. They swung for him and he weaved back, shoving his gun into the knee break of the man and firing. He dropped instantly, clutching his blown kneecap and screaming loudly.

The last tried a close range slash of the white energy and Greed avoided it by stepping forward, stopping the mans swing at the cost of taking a pretty hefty hit to the side. The armor must have been blessed because it hurt like all hell. Greed growled as he put his hand on the man's neck, yanking him forward and shoving his gun in the visor and firing. "So friggin' messy. This is why I avoid fighting..."

He'd return to helping Gluttony defend herself after dealing with that onslaught.

Gluttony was starting to appear more animalistic than normal, until her big brother showed up and reminded her that he couldn't have her losing it right now. The girl blinked and nodded, exhaling as she stood up straight again. She looked around at the men, calculating their next moves along with her own. They had lined up in a neat little circle around her and were undoubtedly about to try and take her all at once from each side.

The girl smirked and waited. As they charged at her, she simply dropped into the ground, causing a couple to impale the others. With their swords all entangled, she made her move. Appearing above all of them, the girl simply kicked their heads in a circle, cracking their necks one after the other. After that, she absorbed them all, wanting to clean up her mess for her big brother~

It was a bad idea. Gluttony coughed harshly and growled at herself for being so stupid. Their holy swords gave her heart burn even when she didn't actually eat them! A sigh escaped her lips as she took out a bottle of tums and took two. "Much better." She skipped over to her big brother and bubby when the second wave was over and giggled. "I think they might have been expecting us!" There were still red rings around her eyes, but she seemed to be back in complete control of herself.

Greed had finished the little scuffle that they'd sent his way, and didn't go looking for any more trouble. He wasn't too into making that mistake again. He let Wrath slaughter the rest, something his sibling was quite efficient at. Gluttony was following in her role model's footsteps rather well, it seemed.

"Don't you think that's a little... savage?" He called to Wrath, yawning as he made his way over. "You guys are so unrefined."

Considering that the statement was coming from Greed, someone should probably inform him the definition of the word hypocrite. He didn't particularly care though. He'd even handled his own few enemies in a similarly gruesome fashion.

"They might have expected us, but they still tried to fight us like idiots. So who cares? It just means that these guys are as stupid as they'd always been."
