Patience is a Virtue (Gluttony, Bloo)

Gluttony knew she wasn't good at solving puzzles. Especially not puzzles like this. This was definitely a job for Greed and him. When he mentioned that the person here must have been very Envious, she smiled a little, but... That didn't seem right. Unless Envy had changed since the last time they had encountered each other, this didn't seem exactly that sibling's style.

Then she saw Wrath look back at the desk and blinked. The little one wandered back out to the front desk while the two brothers were in the room trying to figure out the mystery. Glut had gotten a little queasy seeing all of those red marks, so she decided to investigate the mystery of the missing doorbell guy!

She smiled as she walked behind the desk and then turned intangible, walking right through the employees only door to try and locate the guy that said he'd be right back. In her definition, that meant just a couple minutes, not thirty. Once in the back room, she turned back to physical form and looked around. "Hello? Sir? My big brother is wondering where you went off to."

Wrath made the observation that they must have been dealing with a very envious person, and Greed snorted as he rolled his eyes. "If I were to profile the room, I'd say we were dealing with a psychopathic murderer. I'm no brain doctor though. I don't remember Envy being so crazy. Maybe a couple of marbles spilled out over the years? Time has a way, y'know..."

Greed started his search of the room by making his way to the freezer and finding himself their nice whiskey. Perfect.

"I'll go, uh... check on the kid or somethin'?" He said, opening the bottle with his teeth and he went back to where they found the empty desk, frowning as he drank.

"Kid? Where'd you even go?" He called out, not able to see her from the lobby.

Gluttony was in the back already and couldn't hear her big brothers anymore. The hallway seemed to go on forever and, soon enough, the girl was lost. She blinked and and twirled around, getting even more confused. "Umm... sir? Anyone? I-I'm kinda turned around... Can somebody please show me how to get back to the lobby?? My big brothers are waiting for me out there!!" She started to panic, not knowing what was really going on any longer. The girl couldn't be more than 20 feet from where she started. Why wasn't anybody back here??

Greed was already halfway through his bottle when Wrath came running out, yelling like a madman. Greed found himself sick of the yelling as soon as it started, and knew the easiest way to get him to stop so they could move on in their mission would be to find Glut. He growled a bit as he was manhandled by Wrath, but soon ran ahead.

"Jesus, you guys are nothing but trouble!" He spat back, already leading the way towards Glut. Greed wanted it, and nothing could hide from his intentions for long.

Gluttony was lost and confused and, at this point, terrified. She heard the clinking and thought that maybe it was the man she was looking for with keys or something. Her panic distorted her perception. She turned to the right and began to walk down the path, until she saw who it really was.

The little Sin went wide eyed and screamed, turning on her heel to run in the opposite direction. Her mind couldn't focus, so she couldn't teleport away, or even turn intangible to cease their swords from doing any good.

The teenage girl was frightened half to death and screamed out. "BIG BROTHER! BUBBY! HELP!!!!!"

Greed grumbled as the dreary motel started to get caught up in the flames of the explosion. He couldn't help but look over his shoulder at the burning bedroom a few times as he ran. It was a cool sight. At least he wasn't bored.

Wrath stepped in front again and Greed let him with a shrug. He wanted to be macho, Greed didn't care for the spotlight anyway. He cared more about the trophies that waited, and maybe getting to decapitate some saints would make him feel alive, if only for a moment. So when they burst through the wall and spotted Glut getting chased, Greed was fine letting Wrath charge ahead first. He wasn't one to play hero.

"Just teleport away..." He mumbled, seeing that Glut looked like she was about to get herself killed. He huffed a sigh, then drew his own weapon. It took less than a second for him to ring off his bullet towards the man leading the Templar's charge, the bullet going perfectly for the mans visor. He doubted the armor could stop a bullet, but better to be safe.

Gluttony cowered in fear when she saw the knights running at her with swords and yelling. Then her big brothers came to save the day!! Right? Both of them told her that, basically, she isn't a helpless little girl and needs to start acting that way. Greed mentioned the fact that, if she was really that scared, she should just teleport away. Wrath, however, reminded her of the fact that she was a freaking martial artist and could kick their butts.

The girl blinked, as if suddenly remembering that fact herself. She had spent almost a century of her time dedicated to mastering the martial arts of Wing Chun; however, she had always just considered it fun and cute, not actually learning it to fight anyone.

But this was the perfect time to test her skills in the proper format. She got up and breathed, getting into her stance before smirking. She looked at one of the men charging at her and struck. Examining the weak points of his body, she was able to get under him, place her left palm right under his arm pit while her right struck right at his hip, dislocating it on accident. She then used his own momentum against him and twirled him over her head. "That was fun!!" The girl giggled and looked for her next victim. She danced and swirled her way around the room, helping both of her brothers out.

Greed dealt with only the one Templar before he realized that Gluttony wasn't even in any danger anyway. He was hardly needed here. Rolling his eyes and sighing, he put his gun back, he replaced his hands in his pockets and got his bottle again. This was more his style than that gory bloodbath over there. "You guys clean up quick, eh? The real dream team."

He sounded a bit sarcastic as he sauntered over to the scene, poking the one he'd shot with his foot. The man died instantly, he figured. Quick and clean is what he preferred. It didn't seem like his siblings agreed, though.

"That was a pretty lame trap. I thought that the church would know better..." He mumbled, rolling his eyes.

As soon as the fighting ceased, Gluttony took a look around her at all the carnage she had left in her battle. The girl's eyes went wide and she bit her lip. "L-look at this... S-so much wasted meat... I wish human's didn't give me such bad heartburn..." The Sin giggled and turned to her brothers, smiling brightly up at them. There was something off about her, but not so much that most would be able to tell a difference.

When she heard her big brothers talking, she skipped over to them, her white shorts and pink tank top now spattered in blood. She wasn't as clean as her bubby was. The girl smiled up at them and blinked. "So this whole thing really was a trap? Does that mean we have to go home now?? Why don't we try and find these guys and beat them up some more!!" The teenager was so enthusiastic about her plan, giggling happily while tugging on both of their hands.

Seeing Glut salivate over the corpses made Greed raise a brow. He figured she was too well trained to want to eat humans anymore. Maybe he had pegged the girl wrong? Nevertheless, he trained his attention back to Wrath. "I didn't realize that it was lowkey that the family was all back together. It's not like the church to make such a careless mistake."

Greed was implying that there was more to the trap, but honestly it had been so long since the church had tried to capture him that he didn't even know if they were as efficient anymore. Maybe they'd gotten rusty.

"That's an idea, Glut, a respectable one. I say that we could do that, or-and here me out here-or... we could give up and go get drinks at the nearest pub." He pulled a credit card out of his pocket. "I have on good authority that this Ludwick Wagner is buying drinks tonight."
