The first day is a doozy (moon)

Martha's first day in the new B-101 class went surprisingly well for her. She hadn't really expected that much of a positive reaction as she demonstrated her abilities. She almost regretted not talking about them until now; but she knew how much of a risk it was for her dad to know, and even now she was worried. Actually....how much of a risk WOULD it be? She didn't know how her father would react... Maybe it wouldn't be so bad? She'd have to beat around the bush a few times to try to find out what he might think, but she wouldn't tell him yet.

As Martha walked home, she was completely engrossed in her thoughts. She wasn't really paying much attention to anything else as she carried her books, heading for home out of habit.

Martha sighed as she let her thoughts drift from her mind, instead focusing on the walk ahead and the quiet moments she had to enjoy for now.  Her peaceful walk was disturbed when she noticed a beautiful young girl along the side of the road in the entrance of an alley.  She would have just kept walking...but the girl looked like she might be injured.  Stopping in her tracks, Martha stared at the girl for a while before approaching out of concern.  "A-are you alright..?" she asked timidly.  

What Martha sees:

Martha didn't even know what hit her. One moment she was checking up on the strange girl, and the next moment she felt a sharp pain and she was out like a light. She remembered...some kind of man...came by and hit her with something hard...

Eventually Martha's eyes opened again, wincing in pain as she felt the fresh bruise on her head. "...Whu...what happened?" she asked hazily, looking up to the girl tending to her.

Martha sat up slowly, holding her head. That really did hurt... She listened to the strange girl explain what had happened, believing her entirely. "...y-yeah.. My name is Martha. I'm 16, and it's Tuesday.." She rubbed the tender spot on her head...thinking about everything that actually could have happened. After a moment she tried to stop, fearing everything that came to mind. "Thank you for coming when you did.."

Her parents...right... Martha would end up tending to her own wounds, but she was used to it at this point. She stood up slowly, taking Lilith's hand for support. "Th-thank you.. It's nice to meet you too. I'm sorry for being such a burden.." As Martha stood she felt her legs shaking from...nervousness? Adrenaline? Whatever the reason, someone to watch her on the walk home couldn't hurt. She was hungry, but wouldn't admit it to Lilith. She'd done enough for her already, as far as Martha knew. "I feeling kind of weary... I don't need food, I think I'd rather just go home.."

As Martha walked, she did feel comforted by the kindness and concern that Lilith seemed to be showing her. The day really was looking good so far. Despite now having a headache, class had gone really well and she had a potential friend taking her home. She also stole a glance on occasion, noticing how pretty Lilith actually was. It made her feel...well she wasn't sure. Unworthy of her friendship? She must have a lot of friends...probably a nice boyfriend too.. Realizing how little she must really mean to Lilith, Martha stared forward as she walked and didn't take any more glances.

Martha held her arms around herself, finding herself leaning on Lilith a little more. It was an awkward feeling contact for her; she wasn't used to being held like this. But she wasn't complaining and stayed silent until Lust talked about going into the diner. "I..." she started to protest before practically being dragged in. "...A-alright.." she replied. Guess she was going to eat with Lilith...

Martha didn't have a lot of money with her to spend, looking over the menu with a frugal eye. She knew what she WANTED, but couldn't afford that much. She knew she heard Lilith tell her to get anything, wondering if that meant she would pay for it all, but made no assumptions and instead decided on nothing more than an appetizer and a glass of water. Even if Lilith WAS buying, Martha didn't want to take too much advantage of her generosity.

Martha blinked and looked up at Lilith when she object to her order, insisting that she pay for it. Martha hesitated, but then nodded and changed her order to have some Alfredo pasta, some fruit, a salad, and sweet raspberry ice tea. She knew she could eat it all and her figure suggested she could use it.

As they waited, Martha was hit with a question and the burden of answering it. Hesitant to answer, Martha asked; "What do you want to know?"

Martha blinked A husband? "What? No...n-no husband. I'm too young to marry.." She blushed at the thought, not yet even having a boyfriend yet. Thinking about her hobbies a minute Martha added, "I do like to sew, though; and I can crochet a bit too.." Fortunately Martha also knew how to do those things by hand and could demonstrate anytime.
