Fen didn't mind her taking cover behind him. He felt better knowing that she was close and, for the moment, safe. He took her hand in his, trying to reassure her. He doubted that Targon really cared much about their sex life anyway. Though it was adorable when she was shy. Targon left after seeing they understood, probably to gather with the rest of the werewolves.

"Maybe we'll get to kick some *#&, at least?" He asked Ella, looking back with a cocky smirk. "This is my chance to get some experience. Next time we spar I'll be able to keep up."

Though his tone was light, the situation was severe. In about 30 seconds, they'd be able to hear battle cries and and gunfire. It started, whatever it was. Fenrir would try to stay with Ella, back behind the werewolves. They'd be able to see and hear the fights. It was like a warzone over there. Men in suits with guns against werewolves that were fully transformed. Fenrir was mesmerized. Was he going to be a full transformation some day?

"And I get stuck with the brats..."

To their left was a young man in a suit, holding a handgun and pointing it at them. Trouble.

Fen tried to make light of the situation, but she knew that both of them could get into serious trouble. Ella didn't want to think about it too much, she didn't want Fen or herself to get hurt, but that thought was quickly interrupted by a man in a suit next to them. He was pointing a gun at the two and Ella's fight or flight instinct kicked in.
She pulled Fen's collar back so that he'd fall on the ground and shot her hand out in front of her. A powerful gust of wind would throw her gun off to the side so when he shot the gun it didn't hit either of them.

Ella still ran towards him and slid on her knees so his second attempt at shooting them was a failure. The girl then blew a second gust of wind, knocking the gun out of his hand. However, he brought his leg down and kicked her across the face.

Fen was caught off guard when it was Ella that yanked him back, sending him tumbling to the ground with a harsh growl. He sent her a glare as she charged ahead. This didn't feel like teamwork. Pushing the thought aside he found himself on his feet quickly, watching Ella take a kick across the cheek.

"Son of a..." He screamed, his claws out as he rushed the man. Good thing Ella had taken care of the gun, or this could have been quite dangerous.

When the distance was closed, the real fight broke out. Fenrir was a pretty good scraper, but the guy seemed to have some training. This meant Fen would have to rely on his claws to make the difference. The fight was back and forth for a bit, with Fen taking more hits than he was giving until finally, he swiped his claws across the mans cheek, leaving three bloody slashes. The pain was enough for Fenrir to land a harsh kick to the mans stomach and send him a few feet back.

He looked to Ella. "You okay?"

The kick hurt to say the least, but that didn't change the fact from how worried she was. Ella would jump up and hug Fen, pushing her head into his chest. "I- I'm sorry I acted like that. I saw the gun pointed at us.. and the thought of you getting shot..." She told him hurriedly, trying to explain her actions. It wasn't even on purpose, it was more of an instinct, like a mother kind of thing. Either way, she was just happy he was safe.
"Now what do we do?"

Ella was quick to apologize for yanking him to the ground, making him roll his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. I woulda done the same thing if I thought of it faster. Relax." He admitted with a shrug, then looked around into the night. Things were getting hectic. He wasn't sure which side was winning and which was losing, but he could tell that the Cult had managed to get further into the city.

"Let's get back a bit, closer to safety." He said, though he wished he could fight. He noticed the gun their enemy had dropped earlier and picked it up. Maybe it was like paintballing?

Now armed, Fenrir would take Ella's hand and start to lead them back towards the pit they'd trained in the day before.

She was pulled along by Fen, a little uneasy that he now had a gun. This was a dangerous game they were playing, and she didn't want to think about the outcome if they ended up actually getting hurt, it could be horrible. What if Fen got shot? What if it was his leg or something and he couldn't run away.. what if it was his head.
Ella shook the thought out of his head and continued to follow after him, hearing voices ahead. "What do we do?"

Hearing voices ahead put Fen on alert. He cursed under his breath and ran his hand through his hair. It seemed they were between a rock and a hard place... He sighed and shrugged toward Ella. "Maybe the voices up there are other werewolves?"

The sounds of the front line battle closing in on them from behind was getting quieter, but closer... that battle was nearly decided and he could only hope that the werewolves were pulling ahead. "Let's see what's ahead... quietly."

With that, he started crouchwalking slowly towards the pit to see what the commotion was.

Fen took the chance to see if they were werewolves, which was a big chance. If they were it would be great, they could use them as protection so they didn't get killed. If they weren't, well, Ella would just sprint away, she could barely carry her weight in a fight against one of the agents, let alone 3 or 4! Would they even survive this war? Ella wasn't ready to die yet...
When the two began to crouch towards them, Ella would squeeze Fen's hand, staying behind him at all costs. "What do you see?" She whispered in his ear, placing a hand on his side so she wouldn't fall over.

What Fenrir saw was enough to really make him angry. There were two men in suits dragging one of the children that didn't get to evacuate the town in time towards the pit. "We have to help."

His hand gripped the gun tightly, though he wasn't sure if Ella would agree. It was pretty selfless to run into danger for someone else, but Fenrir knew he had to... so before she could try to stop him he charged forward, aiming the gun.

When the two noticed him, they dropped the kid and reached for their weapons. Fenrir shot one, the bullet hitting his shoulder and making him fall. The other got this shot off, and it nearly killed the charging teen, grazing against his cheek. The shock of it made him fall, sliding forward until he was face down in the dirt next to the child. The other man had his gun pointed at Fen when he looked up.

What Fen did next was completely reckless, despite his loving nature. He wanted to help, but didn't think of the consequences as he charged towards the men. Ella knew Fen wanted to help the child they had captured, but he wasn't a match for the men there.
However, Ella couldn't just stand by and watch, wondering what would happen next. She needed to take action and follow suit, despite this going against her nature. That being said, she trailed after Fen and almost had a heart attack when the bullet grazed Fen's face, followed by a slight pinch. He fell on his face and the adrenaline kicked in for Ella.

All of her sore muscles and slight pinch in her shoulder was gone as she jumped at the man with the gun, using wind as an extra force to tackle him. This would cause his gun to fire upwards, shooting the ceiling and him hitting his head hard enough to knock him unconscious.
When Ella stood back up, there would be a red dot growing on her shoulder. Blood?
